I signed up for the promotional membership for $49 for unlimited classes for 15 days. I have been to 3 classes and loved each class. The studio is pretty and clean. The people I have met there are very sweet and kind. I've and Travis were the instructors I met and they are both lovely people. There is parking on the street in front and a parking lot in the back. It has been a while since I've done yoga, so I was looking forward to stretching my body. This particular class focused on holding poses to stretch the deeper tissues in your body. I arrived a couple minutes before class and walked right in right as a group just finished theirs. The studio is extremely spacious and clean. Right when I placed my mat down, the instructor instructed me to pick up a few items in the studio to use for class. I felt very relaxed the entire time and her voice was also very calming. I liked that I was able to stretch out my back since I was sore from working out the previous day. She also helped me with some of the poses since she knew it was my first time there, which I appreciated. The studio is located in the heart of downtown. There is street parking available, but I parked in the parking lot right around the corner that is free. I would come back in the future to try out other classes.

I have never advocated so much for a fitness studio before…read more I cannot say enough about every single one of the instructors at the studio, as well as the owner, Jen. The space they have created is so welcoming for beginners, and they foster an environment where anyone--no matter where they are in their fitness journey--can get the workout they are looking for. The instructors are attentive to everyone in class and are incredibly supportive. I would also like to show my appreciation for three instructors whose classes I generally take on a weekly basis. Claudia is one of my all-time favorite fitness instructors that I have ever had the pleasure of working with. I have taken her Pilates reformer class, hybrid mat class, and TRX class. I consider her coaching the primary reason I was able to break through the fitness plateau I was experiencing before coming to the studio. She is extremely knowledgeable about the workouts and can create modifications on the spot to fit you and your fitness goals. I go Tina's Barre class, and what I appreciate about it is the structure, as well as how unique each session is. Her instruction style is very supportive, and she is beyond cognizant of everyone in the room. In every class, she checks in on each client to make sure they have good form. I never thought I would enjoy taking Barre, but I now consider myself a true Barre enthusiast. Audrey is another amazing instructor. I generally take her reformer class and Exo Chair class. Audrey's classes are so welcoming and engaging. Her workouts are challenging, but due to how she engages the class, time seems to fly by because we are all just having fun. As I stated at the beginning of this review, I have never advocated this much for a fitness studio, and I will continue to be a client for the foreseeable future and then some. Thank you, Jen, and the rest of the IMX Studio team!

For someone who dislikes exercise, getting sweaty and waking up early, IMX Pilates has completely changed the way I feel and think about exercise. This form of fitness is perfect for me who has chronic aliments like a bad back/knee, weak shoulder, sensitive tailbone and hurt foot. Movements can be modified to your level or current condition. It can be challenging if you push yourself. It's a full body low impact workout that works your whole body and muscles you didn't even know existed! I can attest that my physical weaknesses before going to Pilates have either healed or strengthened. When I had rotator cuff surgery, Pilates was a great rehab exercise. The best part are the instructors esp the owner. She knows you by name and makes a point to make sure your form is correct, and nothing is too overwhelming or hard. She has hired some amazing instructors who truly love teaching and doing Pilates. They won't teach anything they wouldn't do themselves. And EVERY class is different. You never will be bored! The studio is exceptionally clean; the reformers are spaced out well (not cramped); the equipment is well cared for and lots of options for hand weights, wedges, cushions to accommodate your back, head etc.. and its not difficult to get a spot in class if you register in a timely manner. It's been one of the best commitments I have ever made.

The whole class had this beautiful blend of meditation, yoga, mindfulness, and strength training. It honestly felt like a yoga class but on silks he guided us through every movement, from where to place our hips to which arm to use to pull the fabric, so I always felt supported and safe. I also loved that the class started and ended with breathwork and some meditative grounding. It was such a great workout too I left feeling challenged in the best way and really proud of myself. I was able to do way more than I expected, and the instructor's guidance made such a huge difference. On top of that, he even gave me a discount for my next class, which was so kind! The environment was super welcoming overall. I took the class with two other instructors/regulars who offered tips and encouragement, and I really appreciated how friendly everyone was. The class size was small enough that I got lots of individual attention, which made the experience even better. They offer aerial silks/hammock, pole, flexibility classes, and even burlesque and I definitely plan on coming back to try more. Such a personable, community-centered studio. I'm so glad I found this place!

I made a few calls to PT offices where no one picked up or they informed me the next appointment would be over a month from now. I needed a visit as soon as I could. I called Ascend PT and Gina immediately picked up, listened to my situation and quickly booked me in to be seen within a few days. Gina is very professional and personable. She made me feel very comfortable right away and gave top quality care. I felt immediate relief after she worked on my neck and gave me exercises to work on. At this point, I have seen so many physical therapists throughout my life and Gina is quite competent. Substantial progress was made each visit and I would leave visits feeling refreshed and pain free. Meanwhile, at other places, I would be in pain for several months before seeing any progress. After seeing Gina for a month and a half, I was 90% recovered and after three months, I feel so refreshed and able to do all my regular exercise routines and activities. She has a deep understanding of the body and knows exactly which muscles to target to drive real improvement. Gina's approach is truly unique and highly effective. I'm very grateful for her help. Her office is organized and perfect for Pilates training.

But as an unlimited member I do think it's still worth it - esp. now with the option to have multiple studios which makes booking ahead and finding classes a bit easier. Another main reason why this location is one of my favorites is because of BRITTANY!! Every class with her reminds me that these glutes, cheeks, and inner thighs gotta go to work! She makes a great effort to check in with everyone on how their body is feeling before starting class, fixes you (with permission ofc) to make sure you get the most out of each movement, and switches up the classes so it's not super repetitive. I came to the studio and granted I should have arrived early to acclimate myself I arrived on time. The class was already seated and I walked into the studio with my things. Before the instructor said hi she said you can't wear your shoes in here. Ok but what happens now she saw my confused look and directed me to the lobby I put my shoes away and my things then she went to the front of the class I had to ask a student about a mat and props. I set myself up and class went on and it was fine. After class I was rolling up my strap and someone told me I was rolling it wrong. Ok so I unrolled what I had already rolled up and started how he instructed another student pointed out ' we all help each other' ok great so then I rolled up my matt and yet another student points out I need to clean it. Which I would do but I didn't immediately see any cleaner available several other students then chimed in you need to clean your mat. Yes fine but how? Nobody really knew so then I guess that a table set up near me was for that purpose. All of these practices are fine. But I would be nice to instruct people before hand so they don't feel like everything they do is wrong and feel like everything they do is wrong. I am unsure if I would return here again it seems like these students have been together for awhile and maybe they don't want new people. ‍

I understand why no man would ever set foot in this studio. They would cry. I kept going despite the pain, yet I feel stronger in the end. She was kind to guide and correct my form quietly. It was intense on the first try with pilates experience. This was more like a level 3 reformer. I would go back if I became stronger and leaner after six months of doing pilates consistently.
