You would think such a small and easy job would take no more than 2 days, right? It took TEN DAYS!! TEN!!! They originally estimated 2-3 days for the remodel. The lack of professionalism started on day one. The day they were scheduled to start the work, they show up in a regular car and just looked at my bathroom and left 4 minutes later promising they would come back the next day. There was never a question asked about what days worked best for me. They never showed up the next day. In fact, no one came anytime that week. I got a call from June the CEO (allegedly) who told me the cabinets were on backorder. After a 3 week wait, Four Seasons scheduled my job. The day they were to begin, they brought the supplies and put them in my garage. No one ever asked me were all the items I wanted correct. NO quality check--nothing. Then the workers asked me what I wanted done. They were sub-contractors and Four Seasons management never BOTHERED to tell them what the job entailed. These subcontractors were FAR more professional than Four Seasons and they even felt frustrated by the unprofessionalism and lack of communication. Although I kept asking them was the shower door frameless and a pivot door (the box had no pictures or description), they told me yes because they assumed it was. When I was busy working, they put an old-fashioned, FRAMED, sliding shower door up. I was horrified because it was NOT what I requested. To make it worse, it was below the quality I had in there before they started the job. At least mine had a pivot door. Who does a bathroom remodel to put a door from the 1970s in??? Just Four Seasons, apparently. The subcontractors explained they could not take it down because they had drilled holes into the stonework to put it in. It would destroy my stonework to take it out. They also said Four Seasons had not provided the frameless door I wanted anyway--even by day Ten. They told their boss who told Four Seasons. June, the alleged owner called me--not to apologize about how long this simple job was taking, but to complain to ME (who had taken off of work) about how long the job had taken (10 business days) and that their employee who made my contract had "really done a lot of bad things and was fired" and the job had taken "longer than we expected" and he was "not making any money" on my job. He demanded that I pay extra for a frameless door because they could not spend any more money on my job. I wrote him an epic letter in response telling him that I was disgusted by his ask when they had purchased inferior, bottom of the barrel materials for every part of my job (Home Depot variety) and I did not appreciate it (from a cheap towel bar and shower head that was not filtered like I asked to a shower head without the separate wand as I requested to the $40, 1976 shower door). Everything about the materials were cheap and discount basement. They also subcontracted the job out to another company that I never vetted. Four Seasons did not give a damn about whether I wanted that to happen. I did not. Four Seasons issue was with that company that they hired--not me. If they took too long, how was that MY fault? To add insult to injury, two weeks after the job was "complete" (allegedly), the sliding 1976 shower door they installed came off track. We called and called Four Seasons and they promised to come fix it on Tuesday, then Wednesday and then Thursday. They never showed up either of those days and failed to return my calls. I definitely need to sue them. If you are on the fence about a bathroom remodel, I hope this review convinces you to RUN! It would be better to just go pick up some day-laborers outside of Home Depot. They would do a better job and care about the finished product unlike Four Seasons.

They repeatedly canceled scheduled dates, explicitly telling me my house was not a priority. During this delay, the roof leak and internal damage worsened significantly. * Incorrect Materials & Refusal of Itemization: When workers finally arrived, they installed plastic ridge caps instead of the metal materials specified and paid for by insurance. When I requested an itemized invoice and bill of materials, the co-owner, Katie, refused to provide one--claiming that small jobs require higher markup and providing invoices would prevent them from making money. * Financial Mismanagement: After weeks of asking for my remaining balance, I was forced to mention reporting them to the Better Business Bureau just to get my refund check issued. Three weeks after depositing the refund, my bank notified me that the check bounced due to insufficient funds. * Unprofessional Conduct: Management actively avoids accountability, shifts blame onto their inspectors, and dodges calls. While Samir was helpful in trying to move things forward, working with Katie and executive management was a complete nightmare. Save yourself the frustration and hire a company that honors its schedules, uses proper materials, and maintains basic financial integrity.

As others have stated, do not let them speak with your insurance company. Ask for an estimate but dont tell them how much you are getting. They will hound you for every insurance dollar without providing any justification or proof of their cost. Their owner (Katy) is not very professional (at least in my case, would only reply via emails. She would not talk to me over the phone) and when asked to provide proof of cost or scope of work, would delay, delay, delay until they did the work and then told me that I owed them. Although, our house turned out OK, i would not recommend them to my worst enemy. I would also caution anyone that doesnt have a support network who you can run things by, to shop around and be comfortable with who you work with. I had the support of my family, but without them, i could have been out thousands of OOP dollars. They also threatened to take me to court if i didn't hand over EVERY insurance dollar. I had my insurance company write them an email stating that certain checks were meant for the policy owner only and not the contractor and they still claimed i had to hand over the check. This is not the standard, and thankfully you can find other roofers who will do honest work.

In terms of overall satisfaction, I rate them the highest for any contracting service for my home that I have used. A friend of mine has used him for his current and previous homes roofing. First, they are low pressure, helpful, and thorough. They took care of a problem on my old roof four years ago by writing a letter to my insurance company that I had no structural problems with my old roof it was just algae making my roof look like it had depressed some areas form the air in need of repair. They did not charge me for this so when it was time to re-roof my house they had built a lot of good will. In August, Robert Hamel, the owner, inspected my current roof, and attic explained my options well including improving the poor ventilation in my soffits. He also inspected my gutters for wear and proper slope. Second, they are a small local business that has been in business since at least the early 80s so you get personalized service. Bradley Company is not an out of the area company that hires a lot of temporary people when they get busy that may not be as good as their regular workers. The foreman on the job Tony has worked with Robert for years. You have much confidence that they will be around in the long-run and that their business and customer base is local. Third, best price and warranty. I got estimates from five roofers and they were the best both in terms of price and installation quality. Robert Hamel is a four star shingle master roofer and he gave me a 15 year workmanship warranty on my CertainTeed roof. No other offer that I received included a 15 year workmanship warranty. I checked with the Maryland home improvement commission and they have not had a complaint since 2005. The record of no complaints for 12 years with excellent personal attention, pricing, and workmanship shows me an exemplary record of customer satisfaction. A great company to do business with. My new roof looks very nice.

He offered to have his company do the work but told me that a good plumber can do the same job probably for a lower cost. They are extremely professional and attentive to the details that make a difference between a good experience and a mediocre one. For example, they explained what they were doing and why at every stage of the soundproofing project, which entailed soundproofing a wall of my home between another condominium unit and my own. They were also responsive to all of my requests, from my initial phone inquiry, my request for explanations of components of the project agreement, and when coordinating arrangements for them to arrive each morning of the project. As the other reviewer stated, they are also very conscious of making sure that your home is dust-free and the furniture is placed back in their original locations--as the co-owner stated, to make it look like they had not been there. We did this based on an excellent experience in our previous home in Annapolis, MD where they did a large basement renovation project for it. They helped us install a beverage refrigerator in a wet bar, put recessed lighting into multiple rooms, and installed ceiling fans. The work was extremely well done. We also had them do all the work while we were away and we came home to the work 100% finished and the project areas spotlessly clean. During the entire process our project manager communicated clearly via email and text messages about our project. Their communication and professionalism is unmatched. If you are looking for a contractor to assist with a renovation, remodel, or addition, I'd highly recommend you contact Bohan Contracting!

SLOPPY and INEPT…read more Run, do not walk AWAY from Bohan Contracting! For 2.5 years we have been dealing with this inept, insulting, incompetent company. According to several subcontractors, Bohan was a good company initially, but they became greedy and took on too many projects. According to subcontractors in the area we have consulted with, superior Annapolis contractors refuse to work for them, in a few cases calling out their "designer" Jaime Esposito in particular. Bohan parked a huge dumpster in our driveway, insisted that we be out of our house in early January 2022, though the work on our house didn't start for MONTHS. Bohan's trucks from other parts of town would arrive nightly to dump their garbage. Bohan's workers told us they weren't allowed to dispose of refuse in the other neighborhoods in which they were working. That speaks to the consistent mistreatment of us and another family on our street who hired Bohan, judging our neighborhood to be not worth prioritizing. They are still not finished with either project! They've left us twisting in the wind -- but have had no problem collecting money from us. We were told we would be out of our house for 5 - 6 months and it turned out to be almost 16 months! The cost was almost TWICE their quote. Bohan's workers barely spoke English, were sloppy, didn't measure anything and were completely unskilled. On one visit to the site, they had to find a child who spoke English to even be able to communicate with us. Every subcontractor Bohan hired appeared to be the bottom of the barrel. Every day we find mistakes and poor workmanship. It was, and continues to be, the most depressing and disappointing experience we've ever had. They refused to compensate us for any of the aggravation they put our family through. We ended up sleeping in the workshop of our carpenter son, who was unable to work for the entire 15+ months we were forced to stay there. The architect/engineer DAMES Design, who we had great hopes for, left out items such as the water heater, found egregious errors in Bohan's work (including going over her head to hire a different engineer) but then told us WE had to pay her an extra $2000+ for dealing with it! Avoid DAMES Design! Advice before renovating your house -- HAVE A LAWYER on hand to read the contract first and to be ready for litigation.
