I was referred to Eric for the purchase of my first home through a mutual friend. I was told he was patient, knowledgable, and would listen to my feedback through the search. He exceeded my expectations. I was really struggling, initially, to even decide on an area of town. I had narrowed down a few generalized neighborhoods, and he took me to a few additional ones I had not considered or known existed. I really appreciated this since my job is not flexible, and I usually need immediate answers. More importantly, I had some basic questions regarding tax paperwork well after I moved into the home. I am building a home in Pearson Place at Avery Ranch and Joyce and Eric are my realtors. Before I started I wasn't sure I needed to have a realtor but now that the home is almost complete I know my home would not be built as well without them. The builder has tried to cut corners several times. When we started the sales person for the builder said I will have an inspection paid for by them at the end. Joyce suggested I should have inspections done as parts of the home were complete. Those inspections caught several problems that would never have been found later on. Because the inspector found the problems early on the builder had to fix the problems. Another great things about working with Joyce and Eric is if one of them wasn't available the other could help me. I'm on a tight time frame between starting a new job and planning for my wedding so it's been great having people who can work around my schedule. Because they live in Avery Ranch not only do they know the real estate market but they are close by whenever we needed to look at something about the house. It has definitely been worth having them represent me. They were even able to negotiate for me to get credits for upgrades from the builder. Based on their suggestions about what upgrades I should pay for I know my home will be attractive to future buyers whenever I want to sell.
