Two weeks later, I went to drop off the bike and a different guy helped check me in. He was cold and apparently couldn't care less. The next day, I picked up my bike and a third person helped me. Someone on Schweitzer recommended I stop by the Alpine Shop and I'm so glad I did (side note: we were heading into town anyway or we would've just gone to the Alpine Shop location on the mountain). Susan in the retail department was absolutely wonderful and immediately set me up with Zach, the owner, on the equipment side. He was incredibly professional, attentive, and clearly knows his stuff. He asked thoughtful, detailed questions to really understand what was going on with my boots. Then he warmed them up and had me wear toe caps to stretch out the liners. While we waited, he even did a full assessment of my bindings and straps. Their attention to detail and genuine desire to help made such a difference. I left feeling so much more comfortable and confident about my setup. I highly recommend this shop, they will take great care of you!
