They also have other cruise options…read moresuch as the Birds of Prey Cruise (June-Sept.), Island & Eagle Watching Tour (Spring & Fall), Full Moon Dessert Cruise (June-Sept.) and Sunset Dessert & Eagle Watching Cruise. This was a nice cruise around Lake Pond Oreille & I learned a lot of history about the area. Linda was a great "first mate" and tour narrator. Kimberly did an excellent job as "second mate," providing many detailed maps and info sheets/pictures through out the cruise. Our captain (AJ was his name I think) was a good driver and didn't make anyone lose their lunch. Everyone was very attentive and always checking in to see if we needed anything. We learned about submarines used by the US Navy on this lake, ice age facts, geology and so much more! Booking online was smooth as was the check-in at the boat. Seating was plentiful and if you chose to sit on the top (open air, chilly 52 degrees) they offered you a blanket. There is a bathroom on board in case you have to go. They also serve snacks and drinks (soda, beer, wine, cocktails) and have apparel available for purchase as well. TIPS: - Arrive 15-20 minutes before the cruise is scheduled to depart and you'll have prime choice of seating (approx. 10-12 chairs) - Bring your camera (& binoculars if you have some) because we saw bald eagles and other beautiful sites. - If you're a tipper, you may tip online at the time of booking or bring cash to tip afterwards. - If you bring your kids, they can have a chance to sit in the captains chair and drive the boat (the little boy on our cruise even got his own captain certificate!). Lunch was good , beers were reasonably priced , coffee, muffins , bagels, fresh picked blueberries were delicious and plenty of drinks with the exception of bottled water. Even a thermos of ice water would of been great. Overall it was a 5 star trip and we would definitely go again!

It was just prior to Memorial Day weekend, so spring had sprung we had geese with babies parade through our yard and private beach. There were bald eagles and deer everywhere. We had one bald eagle that sat on a tree for hours almost every day. The natural beauty is unrivaled and the owner and his son were so helpful and friendly. We sat for hours outside just enjoying the natural beauty and wildlife. Farragut State Park is literally right next door to the resort, a must see. We loved it there so much that we would love to retire to the area. Thank you for an amazing stay and the most adorable cabin and private beach. Also, everything you could possibly need is in the cabin, including a wine opener so you don't have to bring one. Thank you for making our 25th wedding anniversary so magical!!!!

The thing is, there was still several days left for them to cancel and refill the slot on the snowmobile trip during a holiday week. I wasn't asking for a refund, I was asking for a credit to be utilized within one year. Be warned that they stick with some inane 45 day cancellation policy in an area that is prone to bad weather. If you live out of state, they are not worth booking an excursion with. I absolutely do not recommend this company.

What? only one person rows in a 2-man?? Really?? They thought it was funny, we didn't. Decided to let them purchase more paddles and come back the next day. After arriving home, I received a phone call that 2 more paddles "showed" up and they will hold everything for us.......so we shuttle back only now to find out in the 20 minutes it took us, they gave away one of our kayaks. Ugh! Again, they thought it was funny. Good luck with your business.......you won't be getting any from us or anyone else we can tell about you.

It is great. If you like hiking, there are hiking guides in the bookcase, but also stop at the Forest Service office in Libby and get their free trail guides. Get some topo maps if you want to go hiking. The cabin has complete linens, dishes, silverware and utensils, so just bring food and toys. The grill is gas, so you don't need charcoal. If any of you "woodsy" folks want to introduce your "city" friends to the great outdoors, this is the best place to start.
