We found what looks and is described as a stand alone house from the details and pictures. Only to get a call from somebody named Jackson to double check that it was OK with us that there were people living in the upstairs part of the house. He made it seem not a big deal because they had their own entrance however none of this is in the details on the listing. We have two small children who still take naps that wasn't going to work for us after talking it over with my husband when we called a few days later to let them know this wasn't going to work they told us that they cannot refund any of the money that we paid. $8000 is what Jackson took from me and my family never providing any stay for us that was described on the listing. We are now working out a plan with our lawyer to work directly with Vrbo but this has been by far the worst experience we have ever had with any rental company. I reached out to the owner of the company Steve Russo who I never got a callback from only to be told that Jackson is now the owner and I can only deal directly with Jackson. I am a firm believer in doing what is right and good and I am absolutely shocked that a company would take $8000 from a family with two children dealing with house repairs without even blinking or looking twice. This is the exact opposite of West North Idaho stands for and these people should be disgusted with themselves.

Not relaxing at all. The driveway is so narrow by the garage, it nearly makes it impossible to turn around to drive back down the driveway. We found a dead frog in the hot tub on day one and immediately notified the company. They sent out someone to "sanitize" it. DISGUSTING! The tub should have been drained, cleaned and refilled. They just expected it to be used. It stunk so bad it made everyone nauseated just opening the cover. There were spider webs all over the beams under and around the decking, making it very uncomfortable to walk around and dodge spiders. There was dirt and debris all over the deck areas and a hose that was just laid out on the deck that wasn't put away. We ran out of coffee the 2nd day and there were pieces of trim falling off the sliders leading to the deck, which restricted our ability to close a bedroom door leading to the exterior of the home. This was fixed when we messaged management, but they told us to limit use. Ya, ok, I'm paying 3k for a weekend at your "awesome" home and cannot use a door to exit onto the deck from my bedroom. There was a mounted surveillance camera on the back deck that watches you when you're outside. VERY CREEPY! When you bring these issues up, Daughtery just plays it off as no big deal. This company stinks and their businesses practices are terrible. They wouldn't even entertain some sort of refund due to our inability to use the house as marketed. DO NOT GIVE THESE PEOPLE YOUR MONEY!!!!

The photos seemed too good to be true at 1/3 the price vs. some other ski areas but the email service was so friendly and prompt I took a flyer and booked it. Lo and behold, EXACTLY AS PROMISED! The condo (the "Alpine VIllage Condos Penthouse") is gorgeous and in great shape - like new. Plenty of parking in the building, storage locker for skis, a game room with monster flat screen and cable, games, darts, computer; free wi-fi, 2 minutes drive to the lifts and a great price. The manager dropped off a tray of fresh-baked cookies. :D The skiing at Sliver Mountain is very good as well (heavy on the blue/black runs). If you're going to be in Kellogg winter or summer, this must be on your list to consider.

The spots are level, that's important in a small rig like ours. The place is super clean and the bathrooms are a dream! The folks in the campground are mostly just passing through and some are there for a couple days to enjoy all the outdoor activities. Those there for awhile are super friendly and helpful, we me several in our little world of chaos! The owner though, he's the real hero of this little haven! We arrived later in the evening only to find an entire group of folks in our spot. Well, what we thought was our spot!! We called the after hours number and one of the folks actually texted the owner for us. Lo and behold, in the year and a half on the road, I had mixed up the reservation date! We were scheduled to be there the day before and they were full that night! The owner found us a spot to park though, luckily with a plug in since it was so hot!! We had a very peaceful night sleep and will forever remember his kindness! Thank you North Haven, you're one of the best!

For "glamping", the Conestoga Wagons are fun, and there are actual Tipi spots coming that'll be right among the trees! Be sure to walk the nature trail through the woods when you're here.
