I can't say enough about the staff here! We had an issue with our coach and Darrell and another gentleman came over to help. The bathrooms are clean. The campground is neat and tidy. Just a good experience of friendly people helping people. read more

We have stayed here a couple times in the past and I will say it is a very nice well kept clean facility. The reason for my rating is the advertised pricing online is very reasonable. However when you go to book, the price was almost double because their reasoning was the carving event taking place that weekend. Now remember we've stayed here for this event in the past and currently there is question weather the event will be able to continue for reasons I will not go into. We are very disappointed that Woodland RV would price gouge campers for any event let alone one that needs as much participation as this one will need moving forward. We are in the lodging business as well and have never understood this practice other than make a few more bucks that won't matter in the end. Art G read more

We happened upon this terrific RV park by accident but so glad we did! It's an excellent spot to camp, with close access to plenty of fun outdoor activities like fishing, hiking, etc. Very clean, lots of mature trees, and some spots are alongside a lovely creek. The owners are super-nice, and I thought it was really cool that they have a "community" fire pit so you can socialize with other campers if you like. It rained much of the time we were there so no photos (sorry!) but I'm sure we'll stay there again (it's not far from where we live) so I'll be sure to post photos in the future. I do highly recommend it to anyone looking for a nice RV campground. read more

We were in Libby for just one night to go to the rodeo so we reserved a spot at Woodland RV Park. We've driven by the park several times so we knew the place was clean. But, before we even got there we knew they ran a professional operation with excellent emails providing an invoice, re-confirming our reservation, and asking us to acknowledge the park's rules & regs. When we checked in, the folks for friendly and efficient. They knew we were coming. That felt great! One of the hosts took us down to our spot and helped us get backed in! I've never had treatment like that. Our space was clean. We didn't use the facilities but I'm guessing they were in great shape. Takes a code to get in and the laundry room looked immaculate. Oh, and free wifi, too. read more

I will never stay again. I think they are ripping people off. It's only 5 bucks. But why not be honest that your gonna charge it, even after being told no reservation needed. So unless you want to be ripped off. Make reservation on line !!!!!!! Next time I'll stay down the road. read more

A deer ran into our rv yesterday and we could not travel to Woodland to honor our reservation for the night. When we asked if the cancellation fee could be waived due to the circumstance the owner not only declined but was nasty and unprofessional. We had a similar experience when booking the site but overlooked his surly attitude. His unprofessional behavior cannot be overlooked and I would not recommend staying at his park unless you abide rudeness. read more

Excellent place if you are in the Libby area. Great home base if you are going fish the local rivers. Immaculate grounds! Wonderful CLEAN bathrooms HOT showers. We saw deer with their fawns, ducks with ducklings, a wild turkey and a hawk in camp during our visit. The Camp Host's were out of this world accommodating. The nicest people ever. They even lent us a pancake turner as we forgot ours at home. We truly lived our visit. I recommend a creek side spot if available. You won't regret the extra expense. Really nice RV park. The staff was helpful and our spot was awesome with a small creek running behind it. They have nice shower and washer and dryers as well if you need to get caught up on laundry. We were on the move so we only stayed one night. I wished we could say for few nights and explore the area more. We will be back. read more

Woodland Rv Park - RV Parks Near Me - Libby, Montana

Really interesting entrance sign - it's an Airstream with the name of the park printed on it. Lots of other creative artwork and murals sprinkled around town. Pretty cool! Great - and I mean great - ACE Hardware store - who would have thought? The park itself has lots of trees and some shade in a majority of sites. It's an attractive park, and they do a good job of upkeep. The one odd thing is they use the back of a truck for trash, and it's a bit of an eyesore. The interior roads and sites are gravel with an occasional strip of pavement in the interior roads. It was tight getting into site 30 with a 45 foot MH due to trees and tight turns. It was barely long enough for the MH and toad as we shared an entrance with the site next to us. Our site was not level side to side but the auto levelers handled it fine. Most sites have concrete patios but ours did not - why? Spacing varies from close to nearby. There is no privacy. The bathrooms are dated but clean. Nice sized and clean laundry area. WII FI did not work well but we had good Verizon coverage (4g 3 bars) so we used our hot spots. Satellite is possible depending on the site. It was nice backed up to the creek, and we spotted deer several times. There does not appear to be public access to the creek so people were liberally walking into other campsites to get to it. Even the sites backed up to the creek don't have a maintained trail. They need to fix that. The park is on busy Highway 2; however, we were towards the back and the road noise was negligible. Not sure about the sites closer to the highway. The major downside - and it was major for us - are the train whistles during the night. They are loud and woke us so often we were pretty drowsy during the day. In spite of that, we enjoyed our time in Libby and had fun hiking, boating and drinking beer at the local brewery. read more

I am apart of a work crew that works away from home a lot. We were working in libby and found woodland rv park had some cabins for rent. We took a chance and were amazed how great this park and cabins were. Since we were renting cabins we decided to cook our own food a couple of nights, the BBQ they had wasn't up to par, but they let us make our own grill in their fire pit. It was so awesome. Very friendly and awesome place to stay. Also the cabins are super nice so might want to make some reservations if your planning on staying there. read more

Beautiful RV park if you need a peaceful place to rest for the night. Large grassy sites. I highly recommend the back in sites along the creek. They are $5 more but worth the ambiance. There are some lovely smelling white flowers along the creek that will make your campsite smell wonderful. The creek is lined with trees, sooo pretty. Pull throughs ($35) are gravel with grass and plenty big. Picnic table. Nice clean laundry with 5-6 machines. We took a walk along a neighborhood road and saw 10-12 deer in the open grassy fields. We thoroughly enjoyed our four night stay at Woodland RV Park. The place is well laid out, with ample spacing between units, level well graveled sites, good speed on internet, spotless bathrooms and shower facilities, and friendly helpful staff. Of the five facilities we have stayed at on this trip, this is the best all around. Showers are coin operated but 75 cents gave me more hot, good pressure water than I really needed. And did I mention, spotlessly clean and modern. Only down side is the proximity to the rail line that parallels US Hwy 2 across most of Montana. In researching RV sites along this route, we discovered avoiding train whistles is nearly impossible. Not a serious enough problem to detract from the overall experience at Woodland. We highly recommend this park! read more

Made our reservation months ahead and called the day before we were to arrive to confirm. Owner returned our call claiming we were trying to get out of our reservation and not paying. He was extremely rude and said "I don't want you people staying in my park". (I'm still not sure what he meant by that.) The entire conversation seemed to be completely out of left field and almost like a practical joke. I could hear him yelling and cussing at my husband while we both stood there in disbelief and shock. I called back myself to speak with him... assuming he had us confused with another guest?? Hoping to get it resolved maybe he would reconsider letting us stay. His receptionist told me he had already sold our spots and to find another place to go. Really? Two minutes later? Coincidence? Nope. Lesson: Even if you have a reservation here, doesn't mean they will honor it. read more

Wonderful Rv park. And less than 3 hours from Spokane. Nestled in among the trees next to a great stream makes this park so peaceful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Libby is a great town with lots of scenic sights to see. We will be going back. read more

During our road trip we came across this location. The staff at check in was great. They let us know our Good Sam's membership expired and took care of the renewal to assure we got our discount. Once all checked in they guided us to our spot and even helped get situated. The facility has awesome showers, laundry and community fire pit. The only complaint is that they charge for the showers so for that reason I can't give them 5 stars. The next time we are heading in this direction we will surely make this our stopover. read more

It was a clean park in the grass was green and very manicured. I however was disappointed that there was no fire ring in the camping spot but just a Community fire pit near the entrance. Only two bathrooms with the showers in them luckily the park wasn't full or we would probably be waiting, other than that we enjoyed our stay. read more

Had the worst camping experience ever here. Second night manager went into the bathroom after my 11 year old had a shower and started yelling at him for leaving water on the floor. Then she went banging on the door of our trailer where my 16 year old son was watching a movie with 2 of his brothers and 2 of his cousins. Youngest age was 11. I was not there but my wife was sitting within view of the trailer. The campground lady determined that the kids were unsupervised and called the cops. The cops came to the site and talked to my wife, who explained the situation. My youngest is now terrified of camping and wanted to go straight home, he keeps saying "Are the police going to come again daddy?" Sounds too crazy to be true but it is what happened. read more
