When we arrived, not only was Steve there to show us to our spot, but several others currently staying. In the park were helpful in spotting some close calls and helping get us positioned just right in our spot. For our rig size, it was a close call and tight fit getting in, but once in our spot it was perfect. They got us in site 11 no problem. Is it an impersonal overly polished concrete and blacktop parking lot style RV Park with perfect level geometry/symmetry everywhere you look? No, but it was one of the best and most relaxing locations we've been so far. It's in the middle of a game preserve, so there are numerous deer routinely wandering around the area. Ahhh nature! As far as quiet goes, evenings were like a cemetery (in a good way). Just lots of peace and quiet to enjoy your surroundings. And the sunsets on the dock & beach! They are about as idyllic as you can get for lakefront property. We spent time swimming, kayaking, and just siting our on the dock enjoying the sunshine. I can speak for the internet/WiFi as we had great T-Mobile reception and so were only on our own hotspots the entire time. 60Mbit down / 8.9Mbit up. Perfectly suited to my purposes.

We found this park when we were passing by. We turned around and spent three days here! Chris and Marcy have put their heart and soul into this place! They have the above and beyond hospitality as well as a plethora of information about the area and the fun adventures nearby. They have a gathering area with very comfortable seating and fire pit in the center. Great play area for children and a dog walk for your fur babies. The bathrooms and showers are cleaned daily and very accommodating to all. As you can see we have had our fill of other types of RV Parks that tend to be more concerned about the sale than the truth. This place is priceless! We rented a pull through spot with full hookups. There are adorable cabins to rent on this 12 acre pine covered area with a short stroll down to the river. Trails galore to ride and the quaint little town of Troy nearby.

We left the next morning due to the horrible sleeping conditions. At check out we requested a refund and was told "no refund", unless they rented the site during the time we paid for. Most places have free dumps while you are there. If you dump more than once, you'll pay extra. We do not recommend this business! ***If we receive a refund, I will amend this review accordingly***

The spots are level, that's important in a small rig like ours. The place is super clean and the bathrooms are a dream! The folks in the campground are mostly just passing through and some are there for a couple days to enjoy all the outdoor activities. Those there for awhile are super friendly and helpful, we me several in our little world of chaos! The owner though, he's the real hero of this little haven! We arrived later in the evening only to find an entire group of folks in our spot. Well, what we thought was our spot!! We called the after hours number and one of the folks actually texted the owner for us. Lo and behold, in the year and a half on the road, I had mixed up the reservation date! We were scheduled to be there the day before and they were full that night! The owner found us a spot to park though, luckily with a plug in since it was so hot!! We had a very peaceful night sleep and will forever remember his kindness! Thank you North Haven, you're one of the best!

The bed and linens were very comfortable, and the store, showers and laundry will likely be some of the nicest you'll run across in your travels. On-demand endless hot water was a favorite, for those of us that love long showers or baths. If you get to meet the wonderful owners, Munro and Rachel, you'll see why it is such a special place. Their caring, attention to detail and years of experience with luxury vacation rentals and real estate sets them apart. Nice RV spots, grounds are well maintained and beautiful. For "glamping", the Conestoga Wagons are fun, and there are actual Tipi spots coming that'll be right among the trees! Be sure to walk the nature trail through the woods when you're here. Close to town but not too close. Quiet. We've already booked our next stay, and we're picky. You'll love it!

This place SUCKS! Mostly because of the horridly unpleasant nasty vulgar Manager woman, oh man!…read moreShe has brown hair and freckles and says she's been managing this place for 20 year's! Well.. I was living there recently, with an older lady friend, who's basically like my adopted auntie, and she had given me permission to go and shower at the little shower house that has like two tiny bathrooms slash showers.. nothing special.. ok, so we'll, I walked down to the bath house, set up everything I needed to shower, including all my shower and hygiene products I had just purchased, my nice fluffy, expensive towels, and washcloth, etc. . Well, I had forgot my phone and I like to have that nearby cuz some times my auntie has fallen in the past and no one has been home and so I have like PTSD from it, so I always have my phone real close to me when I'm not with her, just in case she needs to call me in case of an emergency... Well ... I get back to the shower house and the lady is outside smoke a cigarette and talking all loud on her phone all obnoxiously, with attitude, that wasnt directed to her friend on the other end, u could tell by her glare, and her stance, she looked like she was gonna come at me, n I felt threatened... And so I sweetly said hello and asked if there was a problem... And she reamed me a new a**hole... Man oh man.. It was scary.. I said I was sorry. She said you can't shower or be anywhere in the vicinity of the bath house, (which is straight up impossible, cuz the road to exit the trailer park is two feet or less from the building )... Well.. I said that's fine, still holding my composure, and then she said nope sorry you should not have trespassed inside of here so no you cannot get your stuff back. I felt like she just did that because I had all brand new nice bath soap and f****** $20 each shampoo and conditioner!!) Talk about Ghetto A$$ B***h!!!! Holy smokes , haha , she blew my mind!!! Oh!! And!!! She chased me out of there cuz my boyfriend happened to drive by and see what was going on, knowing this lady is a C-word, told me to get in... Well , ya this lady, being mature as she is, and as old as she was , chased us down the damn dirt driveway yelling at us the whole time, calling me nasty names. When I hadn't cussed at her once the whole time and was cooperative, even after she JACKED me for my shower sh*t!!! Haha!! I could not EVEN believe her nasty attitude and the AUDACITY she had to make sum excuse up to STEAL my brand new, nice, expensive shower toiletries!!! Oh well.. haha.. she must've really needed them, to ACT A COMPLETE FOOL, like she did!!! Holy Cow!! I thought the trailer park was a little shady, meaning that there definitely was some tweaker pads scattered throughout the park, but got dang!!! That lady took the CAKE for tweaker b*tch and tweaker pad havin-a$$!!!! She is dumb as hell and I hope they fire her, but having worked there for most her life, looks like she will DIE there as well, which is a sad, sad existence!!!! Soo ..I was gonna complain to the big dogs, but that's punishment enough in my eyes, LMAO!!! ‼‼

There is an excellent restaurant on premises, with finer dining options, along with affordable standards. There are a couple shower/bathroom combos available, with a few obligatory pee-atoriums for the tent campers who don't have rigs. With plenty of old growth trees, it has a rather 'woodsy' feel, which is what one wants in a camping experience. Everyone is friendly. Staff, campers, folks at the resto, were all smiles and pleasant. We enjoyed our stay here, but I have my eye on perhaps visiting mid-week, or in the shoulder seasons for a more quiet experience. However, if I were a few decades younger, I would have partied my a** off, and would be here every other weekend...
