Worst dentistry ever they dont know what they are doing i dont know how the doctor got his degree but he removed my wisdom tooth and did a sloppy job by doing the sutures now I need to go back and do another surgery to remove the extra gum! First of all I would like start off by saying I can't believe I'm writing this review on the Dr I thought I trusted and the Dr I was going to for 8 years and also because I had no insurance . He recently did a crown on me while I was pregnant 1 month later I'm eating and I ate a piece of my crown , so then I go back to him to fix it 2 years later it's broken again and he wants me to pay $700 . Long story short my parents as well we're going to him , he told my mom she needed 2 implants and he said go get it done in Mexico it's cheaper ? That was super racist , is it because are Mexican ? He is rude and has no manners idk how he is in business , his licenses should be revoked .Also on my father he said he needs all this work when all was a lie . Immediately I found a wonderful place for my parents and my self . The new dentist I found ended up telling me I had 6 cavities and that I did not need an extra crown on the top how as well Dr oganes had said , they just tried to not take care of my teeth so that in the end they can do a bigger job more money for them . The most worse place I've ever been the vive is soo negative . Their staff as well is rude and not friendly my parents said the same . The only reason I took my parents there was because we thought they had no insurance ends up they have PPO and finally going to a wonderful profesional dentist ! BEWARE!! This dentist is so unprofessional. I have visited this dentist multiple times and have left disappointed each time. The customer service here is horrible. Be prepared to be kicked out because he is too busy, even though you have an appointment!!! I went in to get all 4 of my wisdom teeth removed and was asked to leave because he couldn't find my veins to give me the anesthesia. After 30 mins of him trying, he asked me to leave and reschedule because he felt rushed because he had a busy day ahead of him?? Here is my experience with Kool Dentistry and Dr. Karapetian. During these times with an ongoing pandemic, I was forced to see a dentist due to tooth pain associated with a filling that was done previously. I was due to have a root canal done to help me get back to normal and eliminate the pain I was experiencing. From the moment I walked in to Dr. Oganes Karapetian's office, he started asking me what was wrong with my face and why I was so serious. I did not say anything to his comments that first time. During the injection, he simultaneously spoke with his assistant on personal topics, discussing and gossiping about some person right next to my ear with a loud voice. After he was done injecting, he got on the phone and start talking about his personal things, walking back and forth. He was speaking very loudly and had no respect for the fact that he had a patient in his office. After my face was numb, he came back and was about to begin working on my tooth. Before he started, he once again commented on my face and why I looked so serious. I started to feel uncomfortable and annoyed at this point that he kept commenting about my face and my general state. I finally responded and asked him to be professional and not make comments about my face and scream in my ear. After that comment, he completely unraveled and started yelling at me that I can't talk to him like that in his office and he can act and speak the way he wants. I asked him to apologize for his behavior because I'm a patient, a women and much older than him and that it was very unprofessional and he proceeded with yelling at me to leave his office. I was in complete shock. I had a half frozen face and was forced to leave the office. As I was walking out and telling him that he couldn't be serious to kick me out like this, with a mouth half frozen, he proceeded to tell me to go find a professional. I am in complete shock and disbelief that people like him continue to be in practice. To treat patients like this and in such an unprofessional manner is unacceptable. Not saying that I'm I wanted to document this and make it known and share in my experience. This is so unacceptable. I am now needing to find a new dentist to help me with this pain. I found this dentist office from Yelp. It had very good reviews. I had a filling that came out and I neglected it for a few months. At this point it was beyond oragel and Tylenol. My entire face hurt. Up to my ear and eye. They seen me right away! They prescribed me pain medicine and antibiotics to attempt to lessen the pain and infection. Two days later I came back. The pain was still present. Dr. K explained the possible options on going forward. He made me feel very aware and educated on the process. It hurt but literally for a second and he carried on with the root canal with zero pain. The entire time I was waiting for pain. Needless to say I will only be coming to this place from now on. After a very bad experience with a few dentists I was told to contact Kool Dentistry. They might seem a little unfriendly to someone who is not familiar with Armenian culture, but they are the best! Dr. Karapetian not only tolerated my 10000 questions (i was very scared and superstitious because of my previous negative experience), but also did an awesome job fixing my teeth. I had a root canal done, a crown and a filling. They also found cavities in a wisdom tooth, but i decided not to fix it for now and have it removed later as i don't really use it; I maxed out my insurance for 2020 so i have to wait for next year or pay cash. Also their prices are very reasonable and if i remember correctly if payment is in cash there is a 10% discount. I found my dentist in LA! P.S. they can 3D print crowns in the office!! read more

Dr. Karapetian was awesome! The entire staff was very warm and welcoming. I had called in the morning, needing a root canal and they fit me in at 4. I left work early because I couldn't take the pain anymore so I got there about an hour early. They were busy but they still took me in and did the x-rays right when I got there. I only waited about 20 minutes and Dr. Karapetian started the procedure. He likes to joke around which takes the stress away and he knows what he's doing. The procedure was quick and painless. I guess the best slogan for this place has to be "NO PAIN AND GAIN". I have very complicated root canal to fix in timely manner. Dr.Karapetyan did great job, fixing root canal and redoing the crown. Dr.Karapetyan is first dentist in my lifetime who did his work without any pain.. Yes even first numbing shot does not hurt. After crown was set, I had some issues with it (had a bigger gap between tooth and crown). I let DrKarapetyan know and he fixed immediately and professional way at no cost. I called the office regarding a wisdom tooth extraction and the lady - the doctor's assistant - was extremely patient and calmly explained all the details about the procedure and the related costs. There were some issues with the insurance but she figured out a way of taking care of it. Realizing it was an emergency situation, she said to come in the following morning. It was really exceptional and not something you experience in many medical offices. The doctor himself, Dr. Oganes Karapetian, is a class act.
