That change, however, is not reflected in the driver pickup schedule, which still directs drivers to retrieve packages during that time. When I arrived around 9:50 a.m., one employee told me I could simply push the door open or follow her inside, and specifically indicated that it was fine for delivery drivers to retrieve their packages even while the store was still closed. She invited me in and told me to pull the door shut behind me after collecting the package. While I was in the process of retrieving and scanning the package, another employee, shown in the photo, approached me in an extremely aggressive manner and told me to "get the f-- out of the store." When I explained that another employee had just allowed me inside, she responded that she "didn't f--ing care" and ordered me to leave and come back in 10 minutes. That kind of behavior is completely unacceptable. I was not trespassing, causing a disturbance, or doing anything inappropriate. I was following the instructions given to me by another employee. There was absolutely no justification for profanity, hostility, or being spoken to in such a degrading and unprofessional manner. Needless to say, I will not be returning to this location or dealing with this employee again. I previously had a subscription and also used to buy my dog food from this store. That will now be a thing of the past. I will be taking my business to Petco instead. This situation reflects poor communication, poor management, and shockingly unprofessional customer treatment. If store hours and pickup procedures have changed, that information needs to be updated properly and communicated internally before employees start verbally attacking people for following the instructions of their coworkers.

I've been coming back to…read morethis store a couple times every other month or couple months because they have more premium dog food brands I like to buy for my dogs. At first the staff are friendly and are helpful. Not pushy for sales and for the most part, they try to make you feel welcomed. I kept coming back because it's convenient for me to come after work and they had the same loyalty program I was used to when I worked at a pet store myself. It's a mom and pop shop which I like to support small businesses. Today I come by to buy dog food and it seemed like they never accounted for the last couple large dog food bags I purchased in the previous visits. The white guy helping us check out didn't even bother to find ways to resolve the issue but to let me go frustrated. In this economy right now everyone's having an hard time which is why it is important to me to make sure I'm spending it and actually getting the benefits from the loyalty program. I understand people make mistakes which is why I figured ok, why not just show them to transactions from my bank statements to verify the receipts in their system. I go back to the store where the same guy redirects me back to the owner Ken. At first Ken tries to resolve the issue by backtracking the transactions in Astro but of course it wouldn't be there because it was never inputted to begin with. He goes on the other system and doesn't even bother trying to shuffle through anything. Telling me he doesn't have time and how he always does it for his customers and it's better I just grab the one bag and he'll only credit that one. As a business owner, you would assume that you'd want to resolve whatever issues your customers have within the store especially if it's a matter of them coming back in the future. To add onto the fact of him saying

Hilma is super friendly, professional,…read moreknowledgable and has a sincere passion for animals which is very evident from the way she treated my puppy. At one point, my puppy, Molly was licking Hilma while she was getting groomed, for her first time there no less!! I couldn't be happier with the service. I love that my puppy didn't have to wait in a holding area with a bunch of other dogs waiting for their turn like other places. Hilma was also kind enough to give me some tips on how to care for Molly's fur and ears as I'm a first-time owner. Molly and I will definitely be returning!!! Oh, and the place is totally adorable!

This review is mainly for the petsitting & dog walking because we decided that was the best service they provided us. Just a quick note on grooming -- They only lost one star because the grooming wasn't entirely up to our standards. After our grooming visit, our dog experienced some temporary skin irritation on her back - possibly from dryer burns, hard brushing or just an allergic reaction to a shampoo used. Also, her hindquarters were clipped awkwardly, although that one may have been my fault for being unspecific in my request. Our dog and cat seemed like they were well taken care of on all the occasions we left them in this company's care. It was clear that our dog loved them. Our cat is sort of a snob, so who knows what he's thinking, but he did seem as content as usual when we got home. Tammy was our main sitter/walker there and our normally shy dog adored her & her little dog. Sometimes we'd run into them in the neighborhood and Star would get super excited to say hello. That says a lot! Also, the company was great about communication, before-during-after, provided easy billing, set up easy key exchanges and they were always pleasant & gracious. It was also nice that our home was always clean when we got home and everything was in its proper place. We recommend their petsitting & dogwalking services to others in Glendale. And we wish we didn't live so far away now so we could keep using them!
