They refuse to send out new modems for a service that supposed to be 24hr our real up time more like 16hrs a day. Yet they still wanna charge full price... the government needs to step in on these company's if there not able to hold up on there end of the contract. Do not get citywide at all unless you enjoy having your internet down. By far the worst company I've had yet. Oh yea and the download speed is complete trash. Step your game up citywide I've been dealing with these issues for year plus now Zero reasons for it. Avoid this company at all cost.

My Aliant bill was never consistent and it was far more expensive than I wanted. I switched to Rogers (ported my phone number) and also got a second phone on my plan. I immediately found a plan that met my lifestyle and that would save me a ton of money. So...the best part of Rogers is that my bill remains the same every single month and it's always within my budget. The part of Rogers that I'm not happy with is their customer service. This seems to be a common issue that Rogers customer have. Everytime I call there (which seems to be more that I would like), I get a rep that doesn't seem to have a clue about how to read or explain their bill. I find it very confused and very fursurating! They need some further training and they need to learn some soft skills.

I went to this store to pick up a new Baby SIM card for my iPhone. I called ahead to ask whether…read morethere would be any. They said there were some, AND when I arrived there were some (ya'll know there was a chance there wouldn't be any) Then when the agent was signing up the SIM card he noticed I was paying 20$ for one of my phone packages. He then proceeded to tell me he would change it a new one (that had the same services) as it was currently cheaper. Yes! Cheaper! I didn't think this was even possible for agents to offer! Needless to say I was impressed. He then made sure my phone was up a running and installed my new case for me. I think this just goes to show how the new approach to customer service (using automated telephones) really takes away from the customer experience. For the last few months I have been thinking about leaving Rogers, but this individual has given me a glimmer of hope.

Preferred this service exactly one month ago. They sent a defective modem that rattled when I…read morepicked it up. They said it was fine and that the issue was with my coax port. They sent a tech out to run a new line, an appointment I waited weeks for and had to take a day off for. New line didn't solve the issue. Sent the same tech back who said it was the modem. They finally sent a new modem and I have been waiting for three days for them to activate it. Every interaction is a new lie from them, claiming it's being expedited and will be today or tomorrow. I sent them screen shots of the conversation and they were just oh well, we don't activate on weekends so it will be Monday or Tuesday. This is beyond horrible customer service. I will be demanding a full refund and do not recommend under any circumstance.
