Classy, cherry blossoms everywhere, a nice sushi bar right in the middle of the place, and a balcony that rivals any other in Orlando. Lots of good visuals of I-Drive, Disney, and Orlando's beauty in general. Service was good, but also bad. Our server was great. Very nice person. But the pacing of the meal was all off. Like the majority of Magical Dining meals, we were rushed through our dinner so we could get out the door and make room for unsuspecting people who want to pay full price. I would have deducted a star for that, if their menu wasn't so gosh darn delicious. The food itself was amazing. I won't go into full detail, since the event is over, but I will go over some highlights and lowlights. Their poke was really well done, and it was served in a very fun crispy little lumpia wrapper bowl. Their proteins were cooked absolutely superb. The crispy leek hay on the tenderloin dish was a lot of fun, they know how to pair sides with proteins well. And honestly, get every dessert they have. Their desserts were incredible. It comes with a soy-cured organic raw egg yolk, sweet aged soy, onion, Japanese seasoning, and steamed rice. I added both uni and ikura, and everything paired really well together. I would absolutely order this again! Their drinks and cocktail menu is very extensive and I chose the Ultraman drink, which was great. It's made with Haku vodka, lime juice, cinnamon chai syrup, grenadine, cran-apple, and ginger beer, topped with a dehydrated apple and normally a limited mini Ultraman toy. They were out of the toy when I went, so they offered a $2 discount, which I didn't mind at all. For yakitori, I tried the Hiza Nankotsu (knee cartilage). Their skewers are prepared in-house and grilled over Japanese binchōtan charcoal, then finished with aged tare and served with Susuru citrus salt. The knee cartilage was good and had a nice crunchy texture. I also tried the Mi-So-Hot ramen which comes with pork chashu, a shoyu soft-boiled egg, corn, scallions, chili hair, and spicy miso broth. However, by 10:30 they were already clearing tables and cleaning up the bar even though they close at 11. It made us feel like the restaurant was already closed.
