At Epcot, this is one of my favorite quick service restaurants -- reasonably priced and tasty! Their portions are small, but I don't mind since I love eating "around the world." My go-to is their shrimp udon. The dining room is bright and welcoming, but they also have tons of outdoor seating in their gardens. Service is always wonderful!

It's ok. Very busy and challenging to get a table. Max and I shared the ramen pork. Not much flavor. My plum wine was good and Max's beer was a Kirin. There is a long table in the center that I think is is what I call the friendly table. Only sit here if you are willing to bump elbows with someone you don't know. I was lucky and my lunch partner was a young college kid. The other guy on the right elbow is someone that I have known for 36 years.

The food here stinks and you can't order ahead online Only thing that I would consider getting again would be the chicken katsu curry The ramen came with a deli meat thick slice of pork, broth was decent The beef in the udon and teriyaki is probably the same pulled meat they use for their bbq in other Disney restaurants. Also pulled meat in Japanese food is super weird Food is made decently fast You get what you pay for I guess

Small eat in restaurant as well as outside seating right in Epcot in Disney! I love the set up very Japanese vibes, the structural buildings are amazing here! Not to mention the food is very good also lol. I had the Ramen with vegetables only and tempura shrimp. I would recommend getting the tempura shrimp on the side instead of in the soup because it does get a little soggy. The beef and chicken and broccoli I was told was really good. I also tried the Violet sake drink, and it was amazing! The staff is very friendly, speaking multiple languages, which I thought was very impressive.

Stopped by for lunch since my daughter likes udon. The line was long but it moved fast and food came out quickly. The restaurant had both indoor and outdoor seating. It's wasn't too spacious but just enough seatings to accommodate both large and small parties. We found a table quickly as most people don't just hang out once they are done. We ordered Yuzu miso wings, chicken cutlet curry, sushi combo, shrimp tempura udon & Kyoho Calpico drink. Curry was ok but chicken was bland. Chicken wings are a tad salty and sushi combo was decent. It's was ok food for an amusement park.

Of all the quick service restaurants in Epcot, Katsura Grill ranks lower on my list. There's limited seating and half of it is outside, which becomes problematic if it rains. I got the spicy tuna roll, a cup of miso soup, and a cherry blossom tea Pilsner. The spicy tuna roll was weird. The "tuna" filling had a scratchy texture and appeared to be dyed red. I don't expect great fish quality here, but this was not adequate. The miso soup was basic and definitely not worth the $4 I spent for it. The beer was good and a nice portion. Overall, there are just better places to eat in the park.

The food at Epcot is pretty good and this place is no exception. It's located in the Japan section of Epcot and it basically looks like a smaller temple. It was busy when I went but we were able to grab a table pretty quickly. This was also a nice change of pace from burgers and chicken at the other parks. I'll definitely be back to eat here again.

(Overall: D) - This place is one of the few casual places in the world showcase with indoor seating and as a result is quite packed. Unfortunately though, I felt like the food missed the mark on several occasions, with nothing particularly positive to point out. (Yuzu Miso Wings: D) - I was quite excited for this flavor combination with the acidic and saline contrast; the first bite actually took me back to the yuzu miso sauce from Trader Joes. Unfortunately, I cannot understate how overly salty every subsequent bite was, and this is coming from someone who generally likes saline forward foods. (Shrimp Tempura Udon: D) - Every component of this dish tasted like it came from an instant mix or previously frozen and thawed except the green onion, which is not necessarily an issue, but in this instance does not even bring the comfort that normally comes from a quick frozen dinner. Arriving on our first day of Disney, my family and I were more than happy to come to Japan as one of our first stops. Unfortunately, that was the same idea as many other people since they were a long line outside of the door by the time we got there. We ended up waiting about 20-30 minutes before we were able to place our order so it gave us ample time to decide what we wanted. The food came out in under 10 minutes. The Shrimp tempura udon had a perfect chewy texture in a flavorful clear beef broth. Make sure to eat the tempura quickly or at least take it out of the broth right away since it will get soggy. The impossible bao bun was a little underwelming and overcooked since it is steamed up until it is served. The chicken cutlet curry was rich and thick with crispy pieces of fried chicken. To top it off, I thoroughly enjoyed my violet sake which was sweet lightly spiked. Overall, I had a good time and enjoyed the Japanese inspired decoration. Would love to come again!

Japanese food quick service location in the Japan pavilion of Epcot. Service was super quick after ordering, I got my food in a few minutes. Ambiance feels like a small Japanese restaurant.

While at Epcot, we stopped here to grab a quick bite. We ordered a tempura udon, ramen, spicy tuna rolls, and katsu curry. Tempura udon was okay...noodles slightly overcooked but edible. Broth was also okay...green onions brought extra flavor. Ramen was okay...nothing special but good enough. My son said it almost tasted like one of those instant Japanese Ramens and they added items to do ‍...so edible...nothing spectacular. I think the best dish was by far the Katsu Curry...that was delicious and the rice and curry was spot on. If you are planning on stopping by for a bit...I recommend the Katsu Curry!

The Katsura Grill is located in the Japanese Pavilion that is near the water stream. I really liked how it has indoor and outdoor seating. We waited in a line to order food. Then we wait for our number to be called to pick up our food. We ordered Spicy roll, Shrimp Tempura Udon, Yuzu Cheesecake. The spicy roll tasted like the quality of grocery store sushi which wasn't that great. The shrimp tempura was good but the udon was pretty plain tasting. The Yuzu cheesecake was ok. I really liked the use of yuzu in this dish. We put our trays up on a rack when we were done.

I can't believe I've lived here for nine years and it's taken me so long to come here! Finally decided to as it's a rainy day and I wanted to try something new. First, on a rainy day the dining area is super limited. This normally isn't a problem in Florida as there's a decent amount of seating outside. But none of it is covered so when it's pouring inside is the only option. And it was packed! I was lucky to be able to get a table because no one was in line when I came in but I noticed a lot of people were waiting for tables by the time I left. I got the Tonkatsu Pork Ramen. It was super flavorful, warm and delicious, perfect for this cool, stormy Florida day. It could've used a little more pork but I was really happy with the portion of noodles and scallions. The pickled ginger wasn't for me but everything else was great. I'll definitely be adding this into my regular Epcot stops in the future.

The bowl was wayyyyyy too sweet for me. Too much of the sauce. But the rice and chicken were pretty good. The pork belly is grilled and not seasoned much. So added it to the bowl to calm the sweet and it worked well. Overall, this place isn't worth queuing for, but still pretty good considering its location. Solid 6/10 for me.

I say that to provide a frame of reference. This place is legit. I was kind of surprised a restaurant of this caliber exists inside Disney World, but now I know. (My wife, who is the Disney expert and enthusiast between the two of us, already knew.) Simply put, if you want to experience the best of Disney dining, Takumi-Tei is it. My wife said she felt like she had been transported to Japan. This place is truly authentic. All of the staff are from Japan. The format and atmosphere is that of a traditional kaiseki (Japanese multi-course) dinner. It's omakase only (essentially a fixed-price tasting menu here), though you can choose between certain dishes for certain courses (examples of which you will see in the Ichiyu-Sansai and Shii-Zakana courses below). I ordered the "Full" seven-course omakase while my wife, who can't eat as much as me, ordered the "Semi" four-course omakase. When it came to courses where we could choose from multiple options, we each chose something different so we could try more things. I like that Takumi-Tei gives you these options. Oftentimes when my wife and I have omakase, we have to order the same amount of food and she can't finish it all and we both end up overeating. Note: Takumi-Tei offers "Kiku" omakase which includes meat and fish and "Hasu" omakase which is vegetarian. Here's what we had: * Beverages Copenhagen Sparkling Tea Lysegron ($12) - sencha, green tea, citrus Japanese Beer Coedo Ruri Draft ($15) * Omakase Menus: one "Kiku" Full ($250) and one "Kiku" Semi ($150) Aperitif Course 1 (Full): Ichijyu-Sansai Sea urchin and squid temari topped with soy sauce jelly and wasabi Course 1 (Semi): Ichijyu-Sansai Crisp golden tofu with delicate silken tofu, served in white miso broth Course 2 (Full): Sashimi Bluefin tuna sashimi served with wasabi soy sauce and shiso leaves; kombu-cured sea bream and striped jack, with seared scallop, julienned vegetables, yuzu miso dressing and shiso blossoms Course 3 (Full) and Course 2 (Semi): Hassun Assortment of seven seasonal ingredients artfully served on individual small plates Course 4 (Full) Dobin mushi (broth steamed in a teapot) A5 wagyu meatball and an awabitake mushroom with yuba and ginko nuts Palate-refresher Sake Non-Alcoholic Cocktail - Okinawa Sunshine Yuzu Juice ($12) Palate-refresher sake before Omakase Course 5 Course 5 (Full): Shii-Zakana A5 Japanese wagyu steak with carrot and onion vinegar, maitake mushroom, cauliflower crispy fried spinach, and gold leaf (additional $35) Course 3 (Semi): Shii-Zakana Steamed alfonsino "Matsumae style" with carrot and onion vinegar, purple sweet potato puree, maitake mushroom, cauliflower, crispy fried spinach, and gold leaf Course 6 (Full) and Course 4 (Semi): Gohan-Mono Hitsumabushi (grilled eel over rice) with shredded omelet; shredded shiso leaf and nori seaweed, wasabi, and bonito broth; assorted homemade pickled vegetables Course 7 (Full): Matcha and Kanmi Green tea accompanied by homemade Japanese sweet potato Mizu-Yokan with caramel whipped cream and assorted crispy chips After tax and tip, this meal cost $615.04. Expensive, but worth it for something so special and unique. The food and drink was phenomenal. Really creative, inventive, and complex flavor and texture combinations, outstanding quality, and absolutely beautiful presentation with an incredible attention to detail. We loved everything. In the final course, fresh matcha green tea was handmade at a tableside cart by our server (Cast Member) Eriko. She's from Fukuoka. From the hostess and host outside to Eriko in the dining room, service was exceptional. A nice touch was a handwritten note on origami by Eriko that came with our check. We liked Eriko so much that we sent her Cast Compliments in the Disney app. We sat in the Washi Paper Room. It felt very intimate because there were only two other couples the room. We got a lot of one-on-one attention. There are five rooms: Wood, Stone, Earth, Washi Paper, and the exclusive "hidden" Water Room (which serves as the private Chef's Table and features a waterfall with a $100 flat-fee upcharge).

I was very disappointed with our experience at Takumi-Tei. For a dinner costing over $650, I expected a true sushi omakase experience focused on raw fish. Instead, nearly every course was cooked, with only one piece of raw fish served. I consider myself to be an adventurous eater; however, had it been made clear beforehand, I would not have even considered booking this experience. The service also did not match the quality advertised. Our server disappeared for about 45 minutes, and despite asking multiple times, we could not get assistance. There were additional long delays before the final courses and before receiving the check. When the bill arrived, we were charged for something we had been told was included, and the interaction made us feel uncomfortable rather than accommodated. At the end of the evening, we were also stopped from leaving because an introduction was taking place. After spending over three hours there, we simply wanted to leave, especially after such a disappointing experience overall. Overall, the evening felt poorly managed and did not reflect the level of quality or hospitality expected at this price point. After the extended delays throughout the night, being prevented from leaving created an unnecessarily frustrating end to the experience and left us feeling agitated for hours afterward, which should not happen at this level of dining. I would have preferred the fantastic fish and chips in England for under $40 for two people. :)

I had never been here before, but a friend suggested, and wanted us to come and try it. We got egg rolls, chicken, dumplings, the ribs, and the popcorn shrimp for appetizers. Everything was decent, there wasn't anything that stood out to me, particularly. For dinner, we got a couple of orange chickens and the Mongolian beef. The Mongolian beef was actually a steak cut up and it really didn't have much flavor unless you used the sauce that came with it. Additionally, the orange chicken was chicken tenders and light orange chicken sauce that tasted like duck sauce! I don't know what happened tonight, but I was extremely disappointed. Between the service and the food, would probably never come back here. The price point did NOT match the food quality. I am glad that we tried it, but I will return to my go to restaurants at downtown Disney. The ambience was dim but cool, and there was da second floor. There was a waitress that was behind us at another table, and she kept hitting me and my chair every time she passed by and not once did she say excuse me. I was as close as I could to the table, but the girl behind me that she was serving, was not. So I guess she preferred to hit my chair than her own customer. Super annoying.

Very good! My…read morehusband and I were in town for a mini vacation to celebrate his birthday and of course while we're on vacation we have to find the most amazing places to dine. I did a quick Google search as well as a Yelp search and this place came up and the reviews were fairly well first of all I love Hibachi so I'm gamed to try every Hibachi place in the world nevertheless I did call to make reservations but I believe during this certain time of the year which was I think it was a Labor Day weekend or the weekend before Labor Day... Nevertheless reservations weren't needed but I did make them just in case. We arrived via Uber which was a quick 10 minute ride from our stay from the Sheraton Vistana. We walked in was greeted immediately and overall everything was a 10 out of 10. I don't think I have any complaints if you love Hibachi and love the family style sit around type thing around the Hibachi Grill definitely check this place out very chic very picturesque. Seems like it's very clean as wel! I highly recommend this spot. If we're ever back in town I think we're going to definitely stop by here again and dine. I almost forgot I told them that we were celebrating my husband's birthday and the chef from our experience ended our night with a fluffy cupcake a one candle lit... Those at our table sung happy birthday to him it was super duper sweet and I love when restaurants do this...such a cherry on top of a great dining experience! Have fun and enjoy life :)

So I've been told for years to come here as it's the best of the best hibachi and now after this…read morevisit I can safely say that the place we had been going to before it closed was just sooo much better! First off I must address the elephant in the room their manager Tony who likes to stand in the archway between the dinning rooms and send text messages like it's going out of style, then after he was done with one of his texting sessions I watched him use not a very nice and kinda demeaning tone to one of the employees to go tell them to do something and let me say I noticed this across the table through a cooking chef so it would seem that he isn't very nice and if that weren't enough at the end of our meal our wonderful server Sammie was talking to us and she totally made our visit and was very friendly mid conversation with her Tony comes up and then she stopped in sentence and like walked away as Tony came up I said that she made our visit and he could clearly careless as he then put this QR code in front of me and told me to do a google review I replied I don't do that I use Yelp and that instantly made him get real short with me and walk away, so needless to say that guy has some serious issues as a manager and I feel bad for his staff because it definitely seems like he's one of those managers you don't wanna have. While I might be totally wrong about this as I don't work here and I've only been here once that's just what I noticed what I saw and the energy that I felt. So our food was good but I must say it was just typical hibachi and let's start with the onion soup it was ok kinda bland and needed more mushroom, the salad was good but they didn't give us very much as the server walked away with a very full bowl from a large table, my fried rice and veggies were good but mostly tasted like garlic butter, my steak and shrimp were cooked perfectly and flavorful definitely the better part of the mean but I found it strange that my steak came with a few pieces of potato's I've never seen this before at hibachi and they I had to ask them for ginger sauce for my shrimp as I guess they don't give it out. My hot sake and Kirin were both yummy and I just say the hot sake bottle was on the smaller side but it wasn't over priced so that part definitely added to the night! Our chef was good he didn't do anything out of the normal stuff just the regular the heart beat the egg trick and the volcano but it's all good a basic ambiance is fun sometimes too! Overall food was decent but definitely something that didn't leave an impression on me as other hibachi restaurants have, that mixed with what we noticed go on I wouldn't come back especially with soo much competition in the area I'd rather go there!

We do prefer our local hibachi…read morerestaurant for the amount of food you receive but it was a nice time to head back to Teppan Edo. This is located at Epcot, in the Japan pavilion. It is on the second floor, there are stairs outside as well as an elevator. I would also note that you might be seated with others as this is a hibachi style dining with about 10 seats around a large flattop grill. Again, we do prefer the value at our local hibachi restaurant since we get more food there and at a less cost, however we decided to come back here for a dining package during the Flower and Garden concert series. This is a set price that comes with an entree, dessert and drink (alcohol included) as well as reserved closer seating for the concert. We were a little concerned since it was one of the higher cost restaurants included in the dining package. If you order correctly you can get the most out of that package. We paid about $15 more than ordering without the package. In reality we would not have ordered dessert either so it would have been about $25-$30 cheaper without getting the dining package. However, you get to go into the theatre first, so your seat is guaranteed and you usually get closer seating. If there is someone we really want to see, we are always doing this package. The food is cooked right at your table, in front of you. It is the best part of the meal. The food is actually pretty good as well. I think it has improved quality and taste since the last time we visited. This is a fun experience for the family but your experience can depend on the chef and others at your table. Your meal includes vegetables mixed with udon noodles, white rice and a garden salad as well as the entree protein that was chosen. They have single options such as steak or chicken or combos. They also offer two types of sauce, ginger and a white sauce. Both are actually really good, although I prefer just ginger, and my wife prefers to have both. We both chose the steak and shrimp to get a better value for the package. The salad was cold, crisp and really nice with the ginger sauce. They did keep bringing me white rice, Im not sure why, but I was very full at the end. I will say the portions seemed a little smaller than many years ago, but larger than the last time we visited, but again, we were full by the end so it was fine. I think they season the meats and vegetables appropriately, everything tasted great. I would prefer to have more of the vegetables in larger size as opposed to the thin strips they use to mix with the udon noodles. Service is always fantastic, the cast members are always friendly, ready to help, willing to describe anything to you and overall are just really great. This past visit, we loved our chef and server. Both ladies were extremely friendly, chatted with the table, told us all about themselves, where they were from and also kept our drinks and rice full! I personally love this type of meal and food. I always think I could eat this everyday. The food is great. Im not sure if this will be a stop we have to go to every year, we do prefer our local hibachi, however, the food here is great. It is a nice spot to sit, have a great meal and enjoy the ambiance. It was a little loud this last time, mostly due to another table being intoxicated and very loud. But this is fun dining. It is perfect for kids, it keeps them engaged. I would recommend this for large groups wanting to dine together. Its not a great date night spot in my opinion. But overall good food, would come again in the future. ACES!

It has been over 10 years since we last visited Teppan Edo. This is the hibachi style restaurant…read morelocated in Epcot at Walt Disney World, in the Japan pavilion. Something to note is this is group seating, so you might be seated with a different party. Their atmosphere is non existent once you get seated. It is lots of tables in a row all in little room sections. It is very standard Teppanyaki restaurant. I personally came here a lot as a child but as a adult, I will say there are places outside Disney with the same theming, food everything and are a little cheaper. Teppan Edo is a Disney restaurant so prices will always be higher. I personally don't think it's the best value when comparing it to my local Hibachi restaurant. For the food, everything is cooked right in front of you, which is the best part of the meal! It is a fun experience but your experience can be based off your teppanyaki chef and others at your table. Please interact with the chef! We came back recently, to do a dining package for preferred seating for the Flower and Garden Concert Series. For this package it came with an entree, dessert and then a drink (soda or alcohol). I will say it was a lot of food and doing this package does cost you more than just purchasing it alone. But you also get preferred seating for the show. Service is always fantastic, has always been! Last visit, we loved our chef and server. Both ladies were extremely friendly, chatted, told us about themselves and kept our drinks and rice full! They kept bringing rice out. Their menu includes appetizers, sushi and entrees along with alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. Your entree includes vegetables mixed with udon noodles, white rice and a garden salad as well as the entree protein that was chosen. They will also give you 2 sauces, ginger and a white sauce. Both are actually really good. My husband and I both chose the steak and shrimp which was seasoned great, cooked perfectly and was really good. I will say the portions are smaller than many moons ago, however, as I get older its fine. But again, you might find a better valued dinner at your local hibachi. The last time we visited I did feel the portions were extremely small and I will say I think they have increased some. I do absolutely love this type of food. I don't think this will be a stop we make often because of the value, and because there are just so many Disney places to visit. However, if you are in the mood for this type of food I would say check it out. This is great for large families, kids and such. It's not great for like a date night, but I would recommend everyone checking it out once.

Being foodie is a though job to find a good place to try and that will be good on high volume days…read moresuch as Mothers day. My partner surprised me with dinner with the family at Ilume. This place is beautifully decorated and located to enjoy beautiful views of the Disney Areas. Valentina was our server, she was prompt and attentive. Very knowledgeable about the menu and was able to clear any doubts and document allergies accordingly. The food was amazingly delicious from beginning to end. Everything we tried was exceded our expectations. My kids being little sushi connoisseurs went to the bathroom and somehow ended up speaking to the chef about their beautifully curated VEGTARIAN sampler came back with a complimentary plate of each. Even that was amazing. Will definitely be coming back to explore more of the menu.

A bit of a hassle with little signage to guide guests. When you finally get there, that's when the unique experience starts. Friendly wait stop guided us to our table immediately. We got our orders promptly, it's nice to have the sushi kitchen in the middle of the dining room. The food looks like Art. Everything was presented beautifully. I posted some pictures before my party attacked the plates. We ordered a wide variety of food from sushi to a five Wagyu. This is a high-end/expensive restaurant. Hit me all of my expectations. Would definitely recommend if you want to experience an elevated Japanese menu
