we came here with friends that were visiting and wanted their kids to try Hibachi so we ended up at Mitsukoshi. Food was good, not the best hibachi I have ever had but it was a lot of food, and our chef was good, but not as entertaining or skillful as other chefs I saw at surrounding tables. The kids enjoyed the experience and service was prompt with our reservation for 8.

I have been visiting Epcot for years and I have strangely never eaten at this restaurant. So today was the day finally. Since it is the slow season it was easy to get a table without a lunch reservation. We walked up tge steep steps and in we went. We were promptly greeted Japanese style and directed to our table. The view of the lake from our table was very nice. If you like Japanese style you will love the look of tgis restaurant. It is beautiful and a comfortabke space to enjoy conversation and a meal. Our server was very pretty, nice, and helpful with the menu. Im a sucker for Japanese girls, I blame Karate Kid II. She took out drink and food order and off she went. She promptly returned with my cold unfiltered sake which was refreshing and delicious. Our meals canne within a very reasonable amount of time. The miso was very tasty and drinking it in the Japanese fashion was cool. The selection of sushimi was vey appealing and the tasty absolutely delicious. I especially enjoyed the bed of sushi rice below. For dessert I enjoyed the green tea ice cream. A soft serve green tea which made it creamier than the hard stuff. I rnjoyed it very much and they provide a generous portion. All in all a wonderful experience. I will be back.

The ambiance and service is good. However, I came here specifically for good food which I failed to get on 2 visits. I go to Japan a lot and have eaten lots of Japanese food. Sad to say that food at this restaurant supposedly manned by authentic Japanese citizens is not good. Any fast food restaurant in Japan is much better. The sushi roll does not have any flavor. Unagi on the sushi roll does not taste decent. Sashimi is not that fresh, being just edible. The worst is the teriyaki chicken in the bento box. The chicken is dry, bland and not edible. The small ramen soup however is delicious. Overall this restaurant is too pricey for low quality dishes. I challenge Japan Pavilion to bring good and fresh authentic Japanese food here to better represent its country. Please do not merely rely on its good location to make a fat profit.

I rarely dine in restaurants when i visit Disney... But I wasn't in the mood for the usually overpriced under flavor burgers and hotdogs. We decided to try Mitsukoshi. The exterior seems very mysterious..Makes you feel like you traveled to ancient time in Japan.. Everyone was polite. From the hostess, to our waitress, to the manager that made rounds to make sure everything was up to par, and it sure was. From the appetizer, to our main course., everything was delicious and fresh. It is a little on the pricey side. But we are inside of Disney. It's definitely well worth it to to spend on sushi vs. burger and fries.

Lunch was bomb! Had the matsu (sushi variety) with a asahi bottle. Got a head buzz so I decided to try their kirin frozen and tempura appetizer lol There's usually a wait so go b4 the lunch rush. This place cant handle large groups unless off times. Service is execellent My server, Ayako, is from osaka. Food above avg I would come bk. Did I mention im goin 2 jpn in 4 days?

This is a great option for the Japanese food lover! My husband, Father-in-law, and I all enjoyed our meal! the setting was nice, and the view was perfect! The day we dined, the park was slow, and we were able to snag an early reservation. This is very authentic dining, and the staff is great at helping you decide on your meal. The only reason I'm giving a 4 star is we waited a little while for drinks, and the bill was through the roof for that inconvenience.

Service was great throughout my visit, and the staff were attentive. The Susuru Gohan was fantastic and definitely my favorite dish of the night. It comes with a soy-cured organic raw egg yolk, sweet aged soy, onion, Japanese seasoning, and steamed rice. I added both uni and ikura, and everything paired really well together. I would absolutely order this again! Their drinks and cocktail menu is very extensive and I chose the Ultraman drink, which was great. It's made with Haku vodka, lime juice, cinnamon chai syrup, grenadine, cran-apple, and ginger beer, topped with a dehydrated apple and normally a limited mini Ultraman toy. They were out of the toy when I went, so they offered a $2 discount, which I didn't mind at all. For yakitori, I tried the Hiza Nankotsu (knee cartilage). Their skewers are prepared in-house and grilled over Japanese binchōtan charcoal, then finished with aged tare and served with Susuru citrus salt. The knee cartilage was good and had a nice crunchy texture. I also tried the Mi-So-Hot ramen which comes with pork chashu, a shoyu soft-boiled egg, corn, scallions, chili hair, and spicy miso broth. It was just okay for me. There wasn't anything particularly wrong with it, but nothing really stood out either. With so many other options on the menu, I probably wouldn't order it again. Overall, I really enjoyed my experience at Susuru! The attentive service made solo dining at the bar comfortable, and the Susuru Gohan was easily the highlight of my meal. I'd definitely come back to try more of the menu.

I fell asleep waiting in my car after an hour goes by and went inside to check because I saw empty tables from the outside and had heard from the hostess. I told her that I had been waiting for over an hour and she said that there was about 4 parties in front of me. I went back outside to wait for less than 5 min and she called me in saying the table had cancelled so my table is now available. That was already a red flag - she totally forgot about me!!! After being seated, the waiter took literally 15min to even come acknowledge us because he was too busy talking to his friends at the next table. Tonkotsu black ramen - 3/5 (not flavorful) Miso-hot ramen - 3/5 (bland and not creamy) Tan tan men ramen - 3/5 (the flavors were there but the noodles were super soggy) Tempura king oyster mushroom - 2/5 (bland, thick and hard to chew. they should've cut it into thinner pieces) Karaage - 3/5 (flavorful but chucks were too big and had too much batter) Inner thighs yakitori - 5/5

I was very disappointed with our experience at Takumi-Tei. For a dinner costing over $650, I expected a true sushi omakase experience focused on raw fish. Instead, nearly every course was cooked, with only one piece of raw fish served. I consider myself to be an adventurous eater; however, had it been made clear beforehand, I would not have even considered booking this experience. The service also did not match the quality advertised. Our server disappeared for about 45 minutes, and despite asking multiple times, we could not get assistance. There were additional long delays before the final courses and before receiving the check. When the bill arrived, we were charged for something we had been told was included, and the interaction made us feel uncomfortable rather than accommodated. At the end of the evening, we were also stopped from leaving because an introduction was taking place. After spending over three hours there, we simply wanted to leave, especially after such a disappointing experience overall. Overall, the evening felt poorly managed and did not reflect the level of quality or hospitality expected at this price point. After the extended delays throughout the night, being prevented from leaving created an unnecessarily frustrating end to the experience and left us feeling agitated for hours afterward, which should not happen at this level of dining. I would have preferred the fantastic fish and chips in England for under $40 for two people. :)

We didn't go at a particularly busy time, but unfortunately sat right next to a loud party with kids yelling the entire lunch. It didn't ruin the experience, just a bit distracting. The shrimp was nice and crispy, had a good flavor that wasn't too spicy but also not bland, and had enough sauce so it wasn't dry. The duck was nice and thinly sliced, so it melted in the mouth. I am not a huge fan of poultry skin, but it wasn't slimy and tasted great in steamed buns, which were nice and fluffy! The buri-bop was amazing, and the presentation was informative and entertaining. Loved the tableside presentation, and definitely felt like it elevated the experience. It was founded by the Japanese department store company Mitsukoshi, which was originally founded in Japan in 1673. The hibachi restaurant is featured in the Japan Pavilion which is part of EPCOT's World Showcase neighborhood. It replaced Teppanyaki Dining Room, which had been open since EPCOT opened in 1982. Like other hibachi restaurants, Teppan Edo features communal seating: each station seats 8 people. The menu consists of traditional Teppan-yaki stye cuisine that includes hibachi entrees, sushi, and various appetizers such as edamame and takoyaki. My family and I visited Teppan Edo for lunch this past summer while we were on a Walt Disney World Vacation. We visited with some family friends of ours and we were able to have an entire hibachi station to ourselves. To drink, I had a "Yuzu Lemonade" (w/ strawberry popping boba) while my wife had the "Iced Blood Orange" (gin w/ a hint of blood orange and sparkling water). Our friends ordered some sushi appetizers to share with us, including the "California Roll" (crab, cucumber, massage, avocado) and the "Volcano Roll" (chef-prepared grilled California roll topped w/ shrimp, scallops and volcano sauce). They were delicious! Everyone was served a garden salad ahead of their entrée; I love the tangy ginger dressing. We had a great hibachi chef who put on quite a show for everyone. I opted for "Chicken" as the main protein of my hibachi meal. Our entire party had a really nice taste of Japan!
