Walked in, zero customers in the establishment. Two employees in the back visible by the grill. One of them makes eye contact with me. He does not acknowledge that I am even in the restaurant and also waiting to order. I proceed to wait between 5-7min in hopes he may walk over and take my order. He never did. So I decided to leave. This is a small place, but has big flavor. We went on a Saturday around 5 and it was already starting to pick up! We tried the Cajun shrimp, oh asada, chicken tinga and karnitas tacos along with chips and guacamole. All of it was pretty solid (the taste, as the corn taco shells kind of fell apart). I took the opportunity to use extra chips to scoop up the taco contents and wasn't mad about it. They offer a good variety of taco options to please most people. I loved their chips the most and am excited that they are adding nachos to the menu soon! I would go back if I lived closer. read more

I love a good food mashup and this place does not disappoint. Korean beef, chicken tikka, Cajun shrimp... none of these disappointed and I'll definitely be back to try everything else on the menu. Tacos were delicious. My husband and I got two each (2-Al Pastor, 1-Kanitas and 1-Asada Chicken). The tacos were full of yummy toppings and were stuffed full. Service was fast and friendly. Who knew that this hidden taco place would hold such surprises! This was our first time in and we ordered the Carne Asada, Al Pastor and Cajun Shrimp Tacos. OH BOY did they literally melt in your mouth. We would travel across the valley and back for the Carne Asada and Shrimp Tacos. However we did both agree that we were not impressed with the Al Pastor and wouldn't recommend that but the other two by themselves will bring us back to Kompas very soon. Do yourself a favor and get the OG Asada taco! The staff was helpful and the environment was fun and hip. I could see it being crowded during peak times, but it was nice and open when we went. First, service was great and the person working the front and taking orders was very helpful and polite. Food was perhaps slightly above average but very mild (even when it said spicy). I think biggest challenge was price - 2 tacos, a small drink and chips was over $20. Seems pretty steep for the food. read more

Unfortunately, for a family of 6, the food came out very slowly and there was only one other small group in the whole place- the first people's tacos were gone before the last people's came out, and one person's order didn't come.
