Wow wow Wowzers. Just finished zip lining with Brennan and Jaiden and we had the most phenomenal experience! We were not sure what to expect and these two made it so fun. They made sure we had the best time - this is 100% a must do. The views were spectacular, and Brennan and Jaiden grew up here so they were incredibly knowledgeable. It was informative and fun. I don't think we stopped smiling the entire experience. We had a group of 6 of us- my parents who are both 70+, my sister and I (40's & late 30's) and my two nieces (13 & 9) so we had a wide range of ages and they made sure to accommodate all of us. Ok if you are even considering going zip lining, DO IT and make sure you go with Koloa Zipline! We had Eden and Jules as our guides and truly, trulyyyy they were the best guides I've ever had! This is such a beautiful course, Eden and Jules take such good care of you. Anyone can do it - my 70 year old Dad and his girlfriend even did it! You have the most beautiful views of the man made lake at the old sugar plantation and the ocean views. You can't beat it. And the lines are so much fun. You are warned, there is one spot that you have to hike a little, but Eden and Jules were great about giving everyone a break once we got to the top. This was probably one of my very favorite experiences on the island. Worth every single penny! read more

There's some areas where you have to do a short hike and they were so patient with us. They are so fun to be with, provided water and snacks along the way. My wife and I signed up for this experience way ahead of time and were so happy that we did. The female staff member who had a long name that I can not remember but I remember Austin calling her "Mo" met us right when we drove up. We greatly appreciated her waiting for us because we were driving in a very interesting area. Austin and Mo got us set up and broke the ice as we had some nerves at the beginning. Austin went the extra mile to make sure I had the best helmet due to my big head. We got in the truck and headed up to the first platform. Austin was super pumped and helpful to our group of 10 about going sitting first, than heads free, and then flying and then upside down. His enthusiasm and care was obvious and was felt by all which led to all of us doing all of these different ways of zip lining. Mo was great as well. Super polite and respectful. Extremely positive and made sure we were not nervous and felt the support throughout the whole experience. The 8 ziplines were awesome. Some short and 3 that were very long. Austin and Mo were incredible and made sure we had a great time. Provided water and some wonderful granola bars. I would highly recommend this experience for anyone... and try and get Mo and Austin. They were awesome!!! The two ladies in the front office were very rude and short. The complete opposite of Austin and Mo. Kind of sad and depressing. read more

They made sure my 9 year old was able to do all styles of zipline- classic, hands free, supergirl and upside down, and she had a blast! They provided waters and granola bars (the best granola bar I've ever had!) to keep us moving! The whole group we went with were very friendly and added to the experience! We have been vacationing in Kauai for years. We don't really do excursions, as just getting to Hawaii and staying in Hawaii is expensive. But this year we decided to splurge and zipline. There were 4 of us, and none of us had ever ziplined before. Also, I'm VERY afraid of heights. We drove to 3 zipline places to talk to each one in person before deciding on Koloa Zipline. We talked to a super sweet girl (she is one of the guides) at Koloa, and her energy and sweetness were part of the reason we chose this one. We are so glad we ended up choosing Koloa! Tyler and Kyka were our guides, and they were amazing! They calmed my nerves and were patient with me as I eased into being able to actually zipline! They were funny, sweet, friendly, engaging, and even remembered our names! One suggestion is to tip at the end of your excursion. They don't mention tipping, and it is easy to forget, but they sure earn their tips! read more

So, today was my 1st time ever doing zipline. Was I nervous pfft, as long as my hand isn't on a Bible I will say no all day. Off the gate I was met by a very charismatic young lady by the name of Sophie. Her friendly demeanor helped me relax 10/5. She took me to the office to store wallet, keys etc. The ladies in there were so professional and kind. The reassurance that I received about the safety of my items relaxed me even more 10/5. From there I met Miss (shimmy shake) Makeya (please forgive my misspelling). Another hands down charismatic individual 10/5. I would be remissed if I didn't mention the wonderful grp I was with. I was the only solo zip. But with the grp I was in I forgot about that 10/5. With the dynamic due leading and training our group I had such a wonderful time. The course was fun. Water and light snacks were provided. Also the drivers were awesome10/5. Thanks to these ladies I have such a wonderful memory that will last me a lifetime. This was my family's first zipline experience and we could not have had a better time! The views were stunning, the weather was perfect, and Koloa Zipline made sure we were well-prepared for our outing. Austin and Janelle were incredible guides. Really great experience! Highly recommend as it uniquely combines a lot of things - scenic views, physical activity, time with friends/ family. Our guides, Junior and Grace, were exceptional and a key factor in the great experience. They were the perfect blend of expertise and fun and encouraged all of us to try different ways of zipping. They patiently made the experience fun for a couple of us first-timers who were also afraid of heights;) On the course: first, you take a short truck ride through beautiful fields where they filmed Jurassic park. The 8-zip line course starts at the top of a mountain that gives you wonderful views of lush forest, a reservoir, and wildlife. The course has several zip lines which are a good 1000 ft+ long. You do have some short walks between platforms, of which the longest one is a 400 ft climb. But anyone in average condition will have no problem completing the course. On the zipping: The guides actually do all the work - unlike some zip courses, the guides will slow you down at the end of your zip (ie you don't have to do it yourself with the leather glove) so it's an activity that everyone can do. They also show you different ways to zip - 'superman' ie hands-free flying, hands-free, and upside down so there is likely something new to try even if you have zipped before. read more

The Koloa Zipline was a fabulous experience for me and my family. I convinced my parents to try ziplining for the first time, and our guides Koa and Jayden were kind and patient with them. The views are spectacular, and we were fortunate to experience the lines on a clear day. The lines are a mix of short and long, with the 8th line being the longest at .5 a mile. A few things to note: -The last bathroom before departure is at the locker and harness facility. There are no bathrooms once you're on the adventure other than Mother Nature herself. -They provide you with small water bottles along the way and a granola bar. -Bring a phone or camera if you want to take pictures. I recommend a fanny pack or a neck pouch for it. -You check in at one location then drive to the second for departure. -There's a ~15 minute truck ride to start and end the adventure. It's quite bumpy along the roads so be prepared if you are someone who gets car sick. -I highly recommend trying the hands free and superman positions. I tried upside down as well, but found it was harder to appreciate the views from that position. -They will brake for you! That's a huge difference between this experience and one I had in Costa Rica. They'll also come and get you if you get stuck on a line (mostly with children and once me...). -The hiking is short but steep. I think the longest trek was 400 ft. The ziplines have some climbing associated with them too up ladders and such. read more

Koloa Zipline was a recommendation from Boss Frogs who has never steered us wrong! They were upfront that only half of the lines were operating due to weather damage, and while we initially worried it might limit the experience, booking the tour anyway turned out to be a fantastic decision. The crew was outstanding and made the entire experience fun, comfortable, and memorable. As first-time zip-liners, we weren't sure what to expect, but from the moment we were driven to the site--with incredible views of the ocean, lush valleys, and rolling green hills--we knew we were in good hands. After a short uphill hike, the adventure began, and it was exhilarating. Our son even wanted to try the upside-down position, and the crew ensured safety every step of the way so we could fully enjoy the experience. Halfway through, they treated us to cold water and locally made granola bars. The tour provided the perfect amount of zip lining, wrapped up in about two hours, and still left us time to grab lunch and explore Poipu afterward. At roughly half the cost of other zip-line tours, this was an exceptional value and an experience we'll always be thankful for. We highly recommend it. read more
