It stands 40 mt. above the Forum Romanum, looking down upon it on one side, and upon the Kolbe Hotel Rome building on the other. It was a full immersion in the culture and history that is even the reason we have chosen this hotel for our " Vacanze Romane". albergo di 4 stelle superiore nel cuore di Roma, a tu per tu con il Palatino e il foro romano, più centrale di così non si può. Oltre alla sua posizione unica ed irripetibile che lo rendo molto richiesto, bisogna sapere che questo edificio prima era un convento di frati Francescani e quindi si può capire l'unicità di questo edificio che, ristrutturato nel 2007 , ha aperto i battenti nel 2008 come albergo a 4 stelle superiore con tutti i più moderni comforts. Il Colosseo è facilmente raggiungibile a piedi in massimo 10 minuti. Le camere sono ampie e si affacciano o sul giardino interno che è un oasi di pace oppure direttamente sul Palatino. Il personale è gentile e pronto a dare buoni consigli per spostarsi a piedi nel centro storico e raggiungere facilmente anche fontana di trevi, piazza di spagna e la zona dello shopping di altissimo livello che è via condotti. La nostra camera era al primo piano e si affacciava sul Palatino. Il ristorante interno da direttamente sul giardino piantato con agrumeti e alberi d'ulivo secolari. il nostro soggiorno è stato molto piacevole e riteniamo che sia coana buona e giusta consigliare questo splendido albergo 4 stelle a tutti i nostri amici e parenti. read more

Un ex convento di frati francescani, magistralmente ristrutturato e convertito in albergo di classe, abbiamo pernottato 3 notti a maggio 2015 prenotando uan doppia con vista Palatino, una vista bellissima, dalla finestra della nostra camera al secondo piano, guardavamo direttamenti sul Palatino. La sua ubicazione è unica come è unico il suo giardino interno con agrumeti, alberi di limoni, aranci e mandarini, adornati con alberi di ulivo secolari fanno di questo albergo un osasi nel cuori della Roma Imperiale. Il personale cortese e professionale nello stesso tempo, da dei buoni consigli per visitare la città a piedi. abbiamo prenotato questo albergo dal loro sito ufficiale perché volevamo il miglior prezzo ed essere al centro di Roma. L'ubicazione è eccezionale, all'ombra del Palatino, a cospetto del Foro Romano e a pochi passi da molti altri punti di attrazione della città di Roma come: Circo massimo, Piazza di Spagna, Fontana di Trevi, piazza Montecitorio, e pantheon. La nostra camera al primo piano aveva un affaccio direttamente sul giardino interno dell'albergo, garantendo un silenzio che non ci si può immaginare nel centro storico di Roma. Abbiamo cenato sempre nel ristorante dell'albergo ubicato al piano terra confinante con il giardino. Infatti , le miti temperature di ottobre ci hanno permesso di mangiare a pranzo all'aperto in giardino. Il personale gentile e professionale nello stesso tempo ha saputo dare quel tocco di personalizzazione che si trova in pochissimi alberghi. There can hardly be a better place in Rome for breakfast, lunch or dinner. The bar is equally atmospheric and seems popular with both hotel guests and locals at the happy hour from 5 to 7 p.m.. A unique and unforgettable experience in this fantastic hotel located in the historic center par excellence of archaeological Rome. In front of the Palatine Hill, a few steps from the most important monuments of ancient Rome, the Colosseum, the Roman Forum, the Circus Maximum , the Spanish Steps, the Trevi Fountain, all easily and comfortably reachable on foot. The room was large clean and with all the modern comforts, with a large window that looked directly onto the Palatine Hill. My husband and I stayed at the Kolbe for three nights in May 2013. We had a wonderful time there. The hotel is located on a historic via (street) right in The middle of a very historic section of Ancient Rome: the Roman Forum, Palatine, Circus Maximus, several churches, the Coloseum, and much, much more - all within short walking distance from our room. Our room was clean and comfortable, non-smoking (and no smoke smell). As the room was located on the street side we did notice some traffic noise at night but not enough to disturb us. The staff was very friendly, courteous, and helpful. Meals were delicious and beautifully presented and if we wanted/needed anything at all they were more than willing to see we got it. We plan to return to Rome and will be staying at the Kolbe. read more

ホテルの良い所は、ホテルから真実の口やコロッセオまではすぐ近くなので、大概の場所は歩いて廻れたことでした。一番近いメトロの駅はのチルコ・マッシモ駅でホテルから徒歩10分位です。メトロの切符は駅構内の自動販売機で買えます。 パンフレットにお部屋から遺跡が見える部屋がお勧めと書いてあったので、私達はパラティーノの丘が窓から見えるパノラマ付きの部屋を予約しました。お部屋はとても清潔でした。バスタブ付きのお部屋をリクエストしたので疲れをとるのに良かったです。 朝食はボリュームたっぷりでした。特にパン類がおいしかったです。 最終日にホテル内のガーデンレストランの屋外席で食事をしました。特に第二皿目のサーモンとデザートのパンナコッタが良かったです。 受付けやレストランのスタッフも親切でした。 日本語でのメールを送れるので、英語が苦手な方にもお勧めだと思いました。 快適な滞在でした！ read more
