For some reason this business doesn't have a very good rating. All I can do is give my perspective. This may be the most outstanding business I've ever dealt with. Ordering was easy, online. The product was delivered to my house for free. The pricing was very good. What made this business stellar was their communication. They confirmed the order, said they were getting it ready, told me when it was out for delivery (same day), told me the driver's name and that he would be there in 7 minutes. Then the delivery person texted me and let me know he was at my house before knocking on the door. The guy was super nice, played with my dog. I don't use much, so I don't buy often at all, but when I do, I 100% will be buying from Kolas again! read more

So I will preference this review on the fact that I have been to a lot of weed dispensaries in my time. My age is irrelevant, but I am older then 98% of the employees at any of these dispensaries. So today I needed some smoke. I happen to notice KOLAS had a specific brand of flower I like for a little cheaper then my normal dispensary, and they were 4 miles closer. So at the price of gas I gave them a chance. First off, When you walk in you feel like your in a 90's flashback underground weed store. There is a small room maybe 12x12 with one guy behind a computer, who by the way is super rude!! there's 8 chairs with 10 people waiting. They stack your drivers license up like dominos and then you sit and wait, and wait, and wait. They only allow 2 or 3 in at a time. Once you get thru the door your in a U shaped room where everything is behind the counter, no touching, no looking ahead of time, you want to see something you ask and they hand it to you to look at. ONE at a time, UGH! No other dispensary is like this, period. No wonder there backed up takes someone 20 minutes to pick a product. There are no prices displayed you have to ask about EVERYTHING. They really need to get with the times, sitting or standing for 10 to 15 minutes to get in a room to buy your product is ridiculous!! I will never comeback that's for sure. Try Perfect Union 100 times better, hands down read more

The nicest people every time I go here! I never have a problem and everyone is so welcoming!

The service was great as were the deals and the person helping us graciously. If all the world was like her the WHOLE world would be as PEACE now. read more

Terrible customer service. Especially from management. They had a deal on their website for Bogo on emerald bay. When I come in they said it's an error and I need to go to Arden or call the call center. When I asked for the number or if they can help, their so called "manager" did absolutely nothing and said he doesn't have their number and can't contact them. Absolutely no help. Especially when they are the ones showing deals but not honoring them. Very shady place. I'll never go back. read more

This Kolas is the BEST in town! I always come to this one no matter where I am. Customer service is always A-1! I'm never waiting long if I even have to wait at all! Wispy is one of the tenders that KNOWS HIS STUFF! He's able to answer any question and gives great suggestions! Korina is always so kind and willing to help me find what I need. My two favorites to check in with! Definitely recommend this shop and they always have deal! read more

The girl who always answers the phone is absolutely awful. Basically has called me a liar twice and I've had to send pictures that I wasn't lying and still they never even apologize. If you want to talk to a manager, they have to write a complaint form and then get the manager to talk to you later. Yeah, like they're actually gonna turn that complaint in. The delivery drivers here are absolutely amazing. Absolutely absolutely amazing!!!! it's literally the girl who answers the phone that I've had issues with on at least four occasions now. Definitely don't listen to her estimated time whatsoever. Only get the express delivery. She'll tell you two hours and then say when you call back oh it could be up to three well cool tell me three in the first place and then guess what I won't care. Maybe give people the actual promos they're supposed to get with orders and that would be really cool too. Thankfully, there's multiple other cannabis delivery places that I will now be enjoying. Such a shame that this girl is the literal reason I definitely will not shop at this place. Not that they really care but you should get someone different on the telephone or you should actually record every phone call and listen to them. read more

Everyone I've worked with at Kolas has been great and very knowledgeable. I have switched to the location on Main Ave. as my preferred location. Mikayla in particular has been exceedingly helpful and knowledgeable and has gone the extra mile to help redefine how i consume my products and has helped me discover new products that I otherwise may not havr experimented with. This is a great dispensary in general, and I highly recommend the Main Ave location. Ask for Mikayla, you won't be sorry. read more

I went there today and paid in cash as I do at any place that charges credit/debit card fees. However, after I gave cash to the cashier, she told me that they don't give change anymore if you pay in cash and we round it up. My total was $69.08 so they kept 92 cents. I don't think that is right and possibly illegal in California. All that extra coins that they keep adds up. I will not go there anymore so long as they have that no-change/ round-up only policy. read more

super disappointed for the 2nd time in this place after they were actually quite great the first few times. My husband was placing a bday order for me as a gift. He did their first time delivery special for 30% off and when I called to ask about the promo that is on the flyer. (literally says ask your driver about a free promo) the person on the phone said yeah you have to ask the driver. I was trying to see if they'd throw a pre roll in as the promo. So driver gets here and has no idea what I'm talking about. I called the store and the girls acting like I'm telling a lie so I send a photo over showing it says free promo ask your delivery driver. And she never responded back last night or today. No one has. It's not a huge deal right bc I got what was paid for but if you say there's a free promo and to ask your driver yet no one knows what you're talking about.. time to switch dispensaries which sucks bc I smoke a ton. read more

Great selection. Super friendly and helpful staff. Adorable pricing. Will definitely return!!!

I've come for years and this staff is so sweet, but today I'm not sure what happened. They didn't have my usual carts so I took a recommendation from one of the employees, but when I get home the cart doesn't fit my battery. I'm already short on time and have to rush back to return these, but I'm told that since the package was opened (although unused,) it can't be returned. Strangely enough, they said if it was damaged they'd accept the return. So I suppose an unused, open package isn't okay, but a used, damaged and open package would be okay to return. The manager on duty did what she could, but I'm still short of almost $40 for something I can't use. Really bummed. read more

I come to this Kolas all the time. Sometimes too many times lol, but there's set people here that's have always been the main budtenders to help me and I love them. So helpful, kind, funny, and know their stuff. I had Santana today and she's so sweet and always helpful with any suggestions or recommendations or concerns. She also has hella cute style! read more

This dispensary, formerly Doctor's Orders, is tucked in a little industrial complex and not visible from the main nearby road, Raley Blvd, so use your maps to locate it. During the pandemic all orders are done online. You can opt for delivery, curbside or indoor pick up. Make sure to have your ID and a mask, both are required. Kolas Dispensary has a handful of locations around the Sacramento area. I was here the day before Christmas Eve and it was VERY busy. I had chosen to do curbside pick up but it was so busy, I chose to go inside for a quicker experience. They have a security guard at the door who also helps with the flow of the customers. Once I got in, it was pretty quick pick up and then out the door! read more

I have been going to the same kolas for over 6 years......I've had my vet discount since day one........now you have a new system that's great.......I don't normally have an issue.......but at the kolas on main, which is the kolas I visit every two or three days......I never have an issue getting my vet discount.......except when you have a child manager take over.......the kids name is Zack.....he is rude and disrespectful and doesn't know the first thing on customer service. He is the ONLY manager that harassed me about showing him my veterans card. I already did that, that's why I'm in the system and have been and I've been very clear about not bringing it back just to please one kid. I'm sorry but no kid like that should ever be in charge of a store on his own.....and as I was leaving I got nothing but apologies from the other manager that was just clocking on and couldn't believe Zack did what he did. I've been going to that dispensary since before he could probably legally smoke. So I think it's funny that he thinks he runs that place and that I won't get my discount. It's time your company start getting rid of these people that push your sales AWAY. my name is John Doig. Thank you read more

I have been going to Kolas Main Ave, formerly Dr's Orders, for a very long time. The better part of the last 10 years. Here's a couple tips for the people in the reviews who have no self-awareness and no personal accountability. Order online. You don't wait in long lines. Most of the time ordering online you may have to wait on 1 or 2 ppl ahead of you, even if the waiting area is packed. To this day, I don't understand why people don't order online. It's way more convenient and you spend 5min at the store. No one has ever pressured me to spend money there. I was already there spending money. I will be tomorrow. :P $35 is the low end. lol You can get grams of some pretty good dab for $20 (before the 30% tax the county puts on it). $35 is nothing. Give what you want to get. If you've got an attitude, you're probably gonna get an attitude. That's how life works. Kolas Main Ave gets an A+ rating for me, even though they charge a hair more for some products than their competitors, except The Sanctuary. They are outright robbing people, and they are right around the corner from this Main Ave store. Go to Kolas. Save some money. read more

It's my 21st birthday and I said I just wanted a preroll or some cheap bud it's my first time in a dispo n I said I don't want to spend much n I end up getting pressured into spending all of my birthday money (35$) on 4 nugs n my free pre roll. This sucks. I won't be coming back. read more

Not sure why the bad reviews, but then again maybe I'm low maintenance. I don't smoke, just to drinks, edibles and tinctures. I usually know what I want and order express. It's a big plus they can do card, while The Sanctuary does not. They have more products in store than online. From time to time I'll do express and pre-order online. Then take a good hard look in-store to add more things. They have Not Your Father's Root Beer but it's never online. read more

Great service!! Every time I go in there I am 100% satisfied, each time, and I go like three times per week.

Updating my review: (last review was poor, but my recent visit changed that!) Connor the bud tender deserves a raise! He was so helpful with explaining the product selection and was perfect with his customer service. He helped me navigate the product I chose and explained the cost break down. He is someone who should be in front of customers more often because he has a friendly attitude and has an energy that makes people feel comfortable. Thanks Connor, you rock!! (Hopefully a manager position is open so he can be considered). read more

Best customer service and high quality products and prices are descent. I definitely recommend kolas

wish i could give 0 stars. I always place an express order, however 3 times i've come in and told them i have express they put my ID in the walk in slot having me wait. Once corrected they still take walkins ahead of me. The male manager has nasties attitude that exists. Their tax is damn near 30% of the prices. If you call they will leave you first in line on hold for 10+ minutes. I would rather drive 20min to arden then give them my business and their deal selections are never worth it. Also the parking is terrible read more

I came here one day after ordering my products online. I arrived when it was ready but waited about 15 minutes to go back. When the lady rung me up, she turned the pad to me and I swiped my card but didn't tip because it was a super quick transaction after waiting 15 mins... something happened and I told her it froze... she said "ok here I fixed it, just sign. When I looked again, she tipped herself $5... that's not right. Poor service. Not a good first impression on me. read more

WARNING!!! Watch Kolas Promotional offers on cartridges. I have a cartridge as a promo from July and didn't work. Took it in as they said and found out it's defective and won't work due to missing holes. They refused to do anything. I didn't want money, just replacement or credit. $30+ dollars down the drain. 7 day policy shouldn't matter if defective. And why penalize me for not opening it until now when I spent over 300 the day they suggested it. Won't even let me post without a star. read more

Was hopeful but very disappointed. Left here just feeling kind of sucky. We came here knowing what we were looking for. I don't live in the area and my mom brought me here because she had had positive experiences with the dispensary that was previously here. While we were waiting outside, the security guard was very chatty. Which is fine, except he was very condescending. Long story short, I had mentioned to my mom what I was looking for, which prompted the guard to then lecture me on what type of product I was looking for. Despite me having already expressed what I was looking for.... Later, when they asked us to go inside, he HELD my mother back (physically - she is 65 years old and this was not necessary) and very sternly asked, "you're actually here to shop, right?" Both me and my mom were confused by this question. We had a couple other similar, weird interactions with him that left both me and my mom feeling kind of off - as if we were just not communicating well. Thinking that maybe WE were the weird ones (which is super possible) we decided not to give up yet. My mom checked in first, and the receptionist was very mumbly - and this was from BEHIND a window, WITH a mask on. Then the receptionist was visibly irritated when my mom had a hard time understanding her (again, she is a 65 year old woman, some grace would be nice). I then left my ID with her while she checked me in. At this point I asked my mom if she wanted to just leave, because we were getting such weird energy from the place. She agreed and when we went to ask for my ID back and explain that we were just gonna head out, the receptionist literally rolled her eyes and THREW my ID back (it basically bounced under the security window LOL, awkward). The host in the lobby was super nice and positive. She stated she was new - wish I had gotten her name to mention here, because she was the only positive thing about the place. Overall... I would suggest going elsewhere. read more
