    Beef marmite - highly recommend!
    Naz S.

We came on a Saturday night to this small, crowded with no reservation and was luckily able to secure a seat. We ordered jasmine tea and the house berry tea and both were very good and a large portion to sip on throughout the meal. We ordered steamed beef dumplings for appetizers and they came with a Spanish-type salsa as the dipping sauce which was delicious and unique to pair with dumplings. We ordered a coriander chicken dish which had a purposeful layer of fat on it, and a beef marmite soup which was also fantastic. The price is slightly steeper it the quality makes up for it. Overall a delightful experience and over 4 stars.

Actually it deserves a 4.5 (Cannot put 5 because perfection doesn't exist, huhu.) Very good restaurant.. the service was very good as well. The set menu for dinner is 22 euros with cocktail, entree, main dish and dessert. The house tea is also very good. I personally don't like the dessert and the sauce for main dish but overall are recommended.

First time ate Himalayan Tibetan food. For my the taste was very good. The spices were strong but not overpowering. I ordered menu 11€ (tomato slices salad, spicy chicken with paprika and yoghurt). I love the chicken.

I was very excited to try Himalayan/Nepal food. I was pleasantly surprised that it is also very authentic Chinese as well. The dumplings (or raviolis as they call it) are delicious. The beef tendon noodle soup is also a must!! The restaurant is decorated very beautifully and the service is wonderful. This place has a very peaceful atmosphere, which is hard to find in a crowded Paris!

4.25 stars Why didn't I go this place first!? After having eaten at most of the Tibetan restos around the place where I take French classes and being fairly disappointed, I finally got around to eating at this one today and was thoroughly impressed. Maybe my standards had been lowered by the rest of the average fare I had eaten? Well, whatever, this place is good. The house tea is probably the most splendid thing I've tasted in a long while. I can't even think of a good word to explain it. Precious? That might be going a bit far, but it delighted my taste buds. You can buy it by the container-ful to take home with you even. I saw a woman come in and ask for it sort of under her breath and then stick it in her bag like she was trying to hide drugs. My 12€ lunch menu (not including the 4€ tea) included an appetizer (a thick, savory, yet somehow light corn, pepper, and cilantro soup) a main dish (vegetarian steamed dumplings) and dessert (apple beignet). Everything was made in-house. No dumplings with freezer burn here! They had a good array of vegetarian options and the waitress went out of her way to show me everything on the menu that I could eat. I still feel obligated to try all of the other Tibetan restos in the area, but this is the only one so far that I'll be going back to.

The food was good but the menu seemed pretty limited. We had momos, the steamed bread, noodles, and…read moresome curry. There really weren't a lot of options on the menu, and other places seemed to have larger menus, but the quality of the food seemed overall really good. Service was polite and nice, even with my limited French, and the manager was out and about with the diners making sure that everyone was having a nice meal. I don't really have a strong basis of experience with Tibetan cuisine to make a comparison with other places, but all in all it seems like a nice little place, just with a small menu.

2.3 stars. Yes, I'll…read moreadmit it - my "American" is flaring up again. I know you're not really supposed to ask for changes to the lunch prix-fixe menu. But really, when on the regular menu you have two versions of the same dish, one with meat and one without, and you've got the meat version on the lunch menu and your customer wants the veggie one, you can't accommodate? Really? Apparently not. So, my vegetarian-ness caused me to have to pay an extra 4€ for lunch. And, if we wrap our thinking caps around this one, we'll all probably come to the same conclusion - preparing a veggie meal is usually less expensive than preparing a meat one. But whatever. I'll move on. So, this little area, situated next to the Pantheon, boasts quite a few Tibetan restaurants and shops. It's not an area of town you'd expect a little enclave like this, and I was intrigued. As my Friday French class at the Association Philotechnique is nearby, I had a few opportunities to scope out which resto would be my first, and this place won because it specifically said "vegetarian" on the menu. The ambiance is cute - Tibetan dolls and other "artifacts", which can be bought at the nearby shops, peppered the walls and shelves. The food, though, I wasn't feeling it. I've had Tibetan food - good Tibetan food - before in San Francisco. Perhaps this place was offering food from a different region of Tibet than the other place. But, I'm fairly sure that they don't grow iceberg lettuce in the cold mountains of Tibet. I'm still getting acclimated to how everything in Paris gets French-ified. Yes, the French love their lunch salads. But if you're eating at a Tibetan restaurant, don't you want to eat something, oh I don't know, Tibetan? All of this is to say that I found this place to be fairly inauthentic. Granted, I'm not Tibetan, have not been to Tibet, and really have no right to judge what is or is not Tibetan. Perhaps this is again the case of my American-ness getting in the way of my enjoying food in France. Regardless, I don't think I'll be going back here. But, it hasn't put me off so much that I won't try one of the other Tibetan places in the area.
