Street parking was a little difficult in the area, but the food was so worth it! I ordered a poke plate, which came with two proteins of choice, plus macaroni and cucumber salad. While everything was good, the fish was definitely the stand out! I've never had poke where the fish pieces were so large. The fish was soooo fresh, melted in your mouth, and had great flavor. The inside is small and intimate with a few seating options. Service was fast, my food was ready within 5 minutes. So good!!! Definitely a need to try if you're in the area!

Luckily, I was able to go on the weekend after 5pm. Hours-- Weds: 5pm-8:30pm Thurs: 4:30pm-8:30pm Fri+Sat: 3pm-8:30pm So, I totally didn't expect there to be such a longgg line to order @5:30pm on a Saturday! We were all packed in there like sardines. By the time I got to the front of the line & was able to order, they ran out of most things. Originally, I wanted to get the spicy salmon + ahi tuna, however, they had ran out of both. I ended up getting a mix plate with spicy tuna + ahi oka. I wanted to try the Manoa chip dip but that was also out by the time I got to order haha. I liked the spicy tuna but wasn't the biggest fan of the ahi oka, which is raw tuna with coconut cream, lime juice, onion, scallions, ginger, + chilis. I found the rice, kimchi cucumbers, + Mac and cheese to be just all right... wasn't very impressed by the plate overall. I still felt hungry afterwards and ended up going to grab dinner. Mind you, it doesn't take much food to make me feel full & for $21, this wasn't the most satisfying meal in terms of taste + portion size. Fish tasted fresh though at least but I don't think I'll be back. Seating: there's only like 3 tables; two for parties of 4ish and one smaller table for 2.

Food: The pho was quite rich and flavorful. The crispy chicken wings were actually super killer but I'm partial to the tangy thai/viet style of wings that are sweet spicy sour flavor. The sugar cane juice (freshly pressed) is a must try. Ambience/Decor/Service: The waitstaff is super attentive. The decor is one of the nicer ones. If you're the type that is worried about cleanliness etc. then you WON'T have to worry about this spot. The ambience is giving 21st century yuppie vibes. As such I can understand the downgrade people give because maybe they're used to super mom&pop shops. Nonetheless if you're looking for a good pick me up or a hearty bowl of Pho this place won't disappoint.

The steamed rice cake Banh bro was straight. Extra fish sauce, more crunchy shallots that was probably my favorite dish here. The sashimi was of good quality and quite fresh, the rice was distinct and moist, the Poke City Sauce was a slightly sweet soy sauce, the light sauce and toppings were perfectly seasoned, and the pickled ginger was refreshingly sweet, sour, and slightly spicy. It was satisfying yet guilt-free. Great!

The sesame oil and seaweed added some nice notes, and everything tasted incredibly fresh. I'd absolutely come here again!

Portions were surprisingly generous when I first started visiting Poke Bros at the Westwood…read morelocation shortly after it opened. At that time, the bowls felt like a great value for the price, and the quality and consistency kept me coming back. Unfortunately, over the past year, I've noticed that the portion sizes have become increasingly inconsistent from visit to visit. Most recently, on 7/29, I ordered three Build Your Own bowls. When I got home and unpacked everything, I noticed that two of the bowls appeared to contain roughly half the amount of food I would normally expect, while the third bowl looked closer to the portion size I've received in the past. What was especially disappointing was that one of the bowls included double protein, yet it still looked no larger than a standard portion. Considering the additional cost, I expected a noticeably larger serving. There was also an issue with one of the customizations. The employee preparing one of the bowls added a very large scoop of pickled ginger instead of the jalapeño slices that were selected on the order. While mistakes can happen and this alone would not have been a major concern, it was frustrating given that the order clearly listed the ingredients for each bowl. Accuracy is important, especially for customized orders where customers are paying for specific ingredients and combinations. What made the situation more disappointing was that I did not realize the issue until I arrived home. The bowl that appeared to have the most food was placed on top of the order, while the two noticeably underfilled bowls were underneath. Had I checked everything before leaving the store, I would have brought it to the staff's attention immediately. Unfortunately, by the time I discovered the problem, I was already home. In hindsight, I wish I had taken photos because the difference in portion sizes was very obvious. I want to emphasize that I have not experienced significant issues at this location before, which is why this visit stood out. I have generally enjoyed the food and service, and that is the reason I have continued to return. However, consistency is one of the most important aspects of any restaurant experience. Customers should be able to expect similar portion sizes and order accuracy every time they visit, especially when paying extra for add-ons such as double protein. Going forward, I may need to start checking my order and portion sizes before leaving the store, which is something I have never felt the need to do in the past. I hope management can address these concerns by reinforcing portion standards and providing additional training where necessary to ensure orders are prepared accurately and consistently. I would appreciate seeing improvements, as I would like to continue supporting this location.

The noodles were springy and cooked perfectly, though I probably would like the thick noodles better next time (they have thin, regular, thick, wide, and extra wide sizes). I ordered the non-spicy version, but it can also be ordered as mild, regular, or extra hot. With the non-spicy version, the broth was still very flavorful and meaty. You're able to add cilantro and leeks if you'd like as well, and the soup comes with some sliced thin radish in it. When the bowl arrived, the radish was a little undercooked, but by the end of the meal they had cooked decently in the hot broth. Now while I don't think I could have handled the mild version, I was happy that the tables came equipped with chili oil and vinegar, which I added to a plate and dipped my noodles in for a slight kick. I think this was perfect - since ordering a spicier version would have been too much, but the ability to add my own helped me regulate the strength and added a lot of great flavor to the noodles. The price for a bowl was $16, and that's what makes this a 4 star instead of a 5. Altogether, I was still hungry after finishing the bowl - I would have liked if there were a little more noodles or maybe some veggies included for that price. The meat was also a bit scarce, and it was a little dry as well. Still, the broth and the side of chili oil made it very tasty!
