The service was fast and friendly and it's in a a great spot located to the left of the food court. Apparently very popular because it stood busy the entire time we were there. This place just lost my business. I was a very frequent customer and would drive 45 minutes just to come and get their drinks because they do have the best bubble tea in the area. However, their posted hours regularly do not match with their actual closing time and this has been two days in a row that I have driven all that way out to come get bubble tea and they have closed early. I have tried to call their business number to verify hours before I came out and no one answers and it goes to some out-of-state voicemail. Even so, I did arrive well within closing time for them to take a few minutes and make a drink. Said they were "out of ice" today, but I don't even order ice in my drink but was still getting refused service. Maybe fix your business model so you're not regularly running out of one of the main ingredients in your product before it's time to close OR adjust your business hours to accommodate the expectation of your stock running out. BAD BUSINESS! Go to the brand new SHARETEA 5 minutes north if you want a better experience! ShareTea even has a reward point program to show appreciation for their loyal customers, and Kokee does not. read more

Found this little gem while out at the mall and I was so excited. I hadn't had boba in over a year since I moved! I was torn btw the brown sugar tea or Oreo (my normal go to). The staff was friendly and recommended the brown sugar and it was made in no time! The brown sugar was delicious but definitely a little to sweet for me (should have known it's in the name) but I can't wait to come back and try their Oreo milk tea! read more

Highly recommend the Dragon & Rose drink if you're looking for a non-caffeinated option! It is a dragonfruit drink that I haven't seen anywhere else, and it is such a pretty color too. I got half sugar and it was perfect. The honey boba was also good - not as soft and chewy as I would like but still delicious. Overall I'm impressed by this mall boba stand! The teas here are really not very good. They lack flavor, almost like they're watered down. The Oreo Milk Tea was just tea with ground up Oreo bits in the bottom. Even my kid wouldn't drink it. Not worth the money. read more

I'm not sure how Kokee is still in business via their reviews and their customer service. We purchased 2 drinks that taste like water. We took one sip, maybe two, and put them in the trash, we let the young lady know who said she is the manager she just stood there like a deer in headlights. The owner seems not to care only replies by writing back when customers leave reviews that: I'm sorry, I hope to see you next time. No, give people their money back or a gift card. Wanted to check out this boba stand while shopping @ The Woodlands Mall and decided to try their Dream of Butterfly drink. Basically it's some kind of juice or tea but good overall and pretty fast service. Wouldn't mind trying more of their drinks next time I'm there or at Willowbrook Mall though. read more

I was waiting for one of the three workers to finish making a girls drink infront of me. Keep in mind it's 7:45 the close at 8. Not one employee ever acknowledged me. So now it's 7:58, Ive been waiting a long time, and the girl says "well it's 8 we're closed I'm not taking your order, plus I have too clean" she had an attitude and rolled her eyes while she said this, I was there 15 minutes before closing and I was the only one standing there, all the workers saw me and said nothing. They were all rude. If you don't like your job then don't work there. There was also no manager so I couldn't speak too anyone. I didn't get the girls name that spoke too me but she had the most nasty and rude attitude. I will be going back in the morning to speak to a manager. read more

I tried their teas and smoothies the other day, it's nothing special about it. It looks good in pictures, but lack in flavors compared to other tea shops in Chinatown (Bellaire Blvd). Their Blend "smoothies" tasted like a slush with chunks of ice not blended smoothly - not good. The Kokee Milk Tea didn't have any "milk" in it and the Thai tea doesn't taste like the traditional Tea like everywhere else..the rest of the other tea I tried was just ok. Not sure why they want to expand in Texas Malls if this is the best they can do? If I want Boba teas, I'll drive to 7-Leaves, Sharetea or Teatop. Heck, even 85 degrees bakery has better quality teas. I have had their tea before...nothing special really. But the thing that pushed me over the edge is letting me stand there and get orders from my kids...continue to stand there...no one acknowledged me for over five minutes, just for me to finally ask if they could take my order and for them to finally say they weren't open yet. I tried the Peach on Peach tea, which is peach green tea with peach popping boba. It was pretty good. Sometimes other shops might have a weird aftertaste as if it's made with a syrup instead. From what I observed, it appears to be made with peach tea leaves (steeped in hot water), ice poured over and shaken, then added to the plastic cup that has the popping boba in it. The guy that made the drink seemed the most hygienic of the group. I observed the females washing their hands and pots but then immediately touching or wiping their face (cheek or side of mouth) and shirts, lifting pants and then touching the plastic and/or metal cups for measuring ingredients. I was disappointed as I was just thinking how nice it was that they're using the sink so often. Perhaps they think it's not unhygienic because they're not in direct contact with the food and only touch the cups. The taste and price were about average so I would like to go again if I felt the urge, but my observations will make me think twice about it before I try it again. read more

The place was barely at the "ok" level. The boba balls aren't actually balls they're squares, and they have a god awful after taste along with a weird texture. I had the Oreo coffee boba with coffee boba and it was at best a 2/10. The place is pretty pricey as well. Try to avoid it it's not worth the wait or money. read more

I'll have to finally say that this is the worst drink I or we have ever tasted. The drink tasted like it was completely watered down. We barely even taste the artificial flavor of the drink as the drink was mostly watered down to the max. Consumers beware and save your money. I go to the Woodlands location often and normally the staff are not friendly and they don't care about my order. The drinks would normally taste horrible just like the service. However, on 2/23/22 Genesis made I and my daughter drink and she was so friendly. This young lady genuinely loves what she's doing. Thank you Genesis for a wonderful experience at this location. Very inconsistent. Their new employees need to be better trained. The first 2 drinks I ordered were amazing because an Asian lady was there giving instructions. Left on their own, the new employees couldn't replicate and the last 3 drinks did not taste the same and were no good. It's a hit or miss, depending on who's making it. That should not be the case. I was really excited about this boba tea place but I'm reluctant to give them another shot in the hopes that it tastes good. If your customer is "hoping" for a good experience when they spend hard earned money on your business, that's never a good thing. Owner/manager, please fix this. I got a green tea with the sea salt crema topping... im a sea salt cream finatic and they're supposed to be a thick cream with a slight salty flavor but no where near over powering... i took a sip and it felt as if i just took a spoonful full of salt. even after mixing it with my tea it was crazy salty i couldnt even finish... $5 to waste. im sure they have good stuff just not the sea salt cream read more
