I brought my daughter in here to get a boba drink. I watched the cashier rub and dig in her noise then dig in the Boba. When I said something to her about it she stated she's touching the scoop handle, not the boba then started laughing. Then her coworker asked what happened and when I stated what I seen they both laughed and said it wasn't that serious. I asked for a refund and she's stated no other customer complained when she does it. No gloves, no accountability. Just nasty. I will order strawberry milk tea with boba any chance I get. My boyfriend and I were at Towson town center to do a little holiday shopping and I got to order from Kokee for the first time. The menu is a decent size, which is nice. Some bubble tea places have such an extensive menu it can be overwhelming. Yes, I usually get strawberry milk tea, but every once in a while I like to switch it up, but I don't need 100 choices. Located right next to the food court, there was only one other customer in the shop so we were served our drink within 5 minutes. The other customer seemed absolutely delighted with her cookies and cream beverage, in case you were wondering. This was probably the most delightful strawberry milk tea I've had so far in life. I've been to Kokee Tea a number of times and am a fan. Kokee has an extensive menu of milk and fruit teas. There are pictures of a number of teas right by the entrance. There are descriptions of these teas on both the menu board and paper menu. During my first visit I ordered the Butterfly Pea Tea. I loved the taste of the tea. It was slightly sweet but not overly. My second visit I went with a Dragon & Rose tea with strawberry boba (strawberry boba on recommendation by the cashier). The strawberry boba was the "exploding" kind, not the chewy version. This was less sweet and more sour than the butterfly pea. Again, loved it. During my third visit, I went with the Georgia on my Mind. This is a peach flavored tea. I was slightly less a fan of this one. Bit of a weird aftertaste. I'm glad there is a decent bubble tea location in the area and can't wait to continue exploring their menu. read more

Just a few cents more than another milk tea place but man, so worth it! We went 3 consecutive weekends after our first time and we're back here again today! We go to the mall just to get this. The cold cloud selections are the best if you like sweet stuff! Else, house, taro or Purple Love, and Kokee milk tea are the other drinks you can try after having tried your first option. Delicious boba with a wide variety of flavors, what more can you ask for! I visited during a busy weekend where the line was almost out the door however once I placed my order it took them about 10 mins to make my order, which consisted of three drinks. To me that's not a terrible wait considering how busy it was. I ordered the Thai milk tea and the dragon & rose tea. The Thai tea was good and pretty standard compared to other boba places. The dragon & rose was good as well but has a strong dragon fruit taste and wasn't too sweet even though I ordered full sweetness. The drinks were delicious but I would try one of their other flavors the next time I visit. There was a decent amount of boba in both drinks. The store has a small bar area but only a few people can hangout there. It's right next to the food court so you can step outside for more seating. Kokee tea has some very delicious boba tea, but my favorite thing about this location was their food menu and their ambiance was fantastic. Super cute small location. As for the boba, I got the Brown Sugar Dagonattee (not too much coffee) and the black lychee. The boba was chewy and the perfect texture. However, the shining jewel was the croffle (croissant + waffle). I got the matcha stawberry croffle and it was delicious -- not too sweet. The place is super clean and new. They have a wide variety of milk teas and fruit teas. This time I went for the Grapefruit Honey Black tea with boba-- something simple and refreshing to beat the hot and humid day. I loved fruit teas that have fresh fruit pieces. The tea from Kokee was good. The tea flavor is not as strong as I'd like, but still good. I got the Kokee milk tea which is earl grey tea with cream on top. It's a bummer they do not have the lids with a sipping hole since that's what I'm used to with this type of drink. This is located inside the mall. It was not a very long wait. Overall this place is solid 3-3.5 stars. Place is very clean and organized. The ambience is very hip. There is a small area to hang around to drink your tea, otherwise theres no place to sit. The tea selection is fairly extensive. There are lots of traditional flavors and alot of nonconventional flavors. The boba is decent, much better than places in baltimore but yet nothing special to drive out for. The quality is on the same level as nearby stores. Boba is fairly soft. The tea is not my favorite. I got the mango virgin mojito which was okay but diluted taste. My wife got taro milk tea, tasted very strong and creamy with a strange aftertaste. Overall boba is good. This place is a decent boba tea place. It's korean as opposed to taiwanese like kungfu tea or tiger sugar. It's not bad I've been here about 3xs and have always gotten a brown sugar drink. I've gotten the dalgona coffee, cold brew coffee and the milk tea all with brown sugar and they were yummy. The first time I went, I googled what the dalgona coffee drink was before I went and it's a popular beverage in korea where the coffee is supposed to taste like ice cream. Apparently it wasnt too popular because they had to look up how to make it and it was just meh for the time that it took and it was instant coffee blech. The cold brew brown sugar with honey boba was much much better. I'm glad this place is an option here in towson now and I almost always stop by now if I'm around the mall. read more

I was so excited to see this boba tea shop open up in Towson Mall! I love to shop with a drink in hand but am not always in the mood for coffee. Boba is the perfect alternative!! This location is brand new, really clean and nicely sized so it's not too cramped even when they're busy.They have a great setup just off the food court so you can avoid the busy-ness of that area. Super friendly and welcoming staff. They're happy to walk you through the whole menu and help you choose a drink based on your preferences. It was a bit crowded but they swiftly got through the line and handed out orders.i normally order brown sugar milk tea with boba as my test drink to see if a boba shop is good. For some odd reason something posses me to get the honey milk tea. Now the honey milk tea is not nastyyyy but it's not great either. It's pretty boring and probably something I could have made at home. The boba make it a little better because they have a good chewing consistency but overall my experience was dampen by not great boba. Stopped by solely for the "BOBA". Our niece has been asking for Boba for a while now and after watching some YouTube videos, we decided to give it a try. Found this cute spot in the Towson Mall right by the food court. The menu has plenty of options to satisfy many taste buds. I opted for the Oreo cold drink with an almond milk option, fiancè tried the strawberry tea while our niece tried the purple love tea. Both the strawberry and purple love are made with creamers. All had Boba which is an extra fee. After waiting with excitement, our orders were finally ready within about 5 minutes and we eagerly tried them all. The teas were very delicious. The Boba ... very interesting ... sort of reminded me of a gummy bear texture wise. I'm happy to have tried it but not certain it's necessary for the drinks. We have finally discovered a milk tea shop that offers caffeine free options! Stumbled upon this gem in Towson mall and ordered a taro milk boba. I was able to customize the sweetness and it was incredible. I greatly appreciated menu labels all of the decaf options for children like me. I've had Kokee Tea in Richmond, VA and NoVA before and had good experience so I was for a similar experience here as well. When I walked in, I was greeted kindly by the barista/mixologist. I let them know that I was looking for something refreshing with fruit base and they recommended some of their best sellers and personal favorites including some good toppings to add to those drinks. While the drink was $6.50 when I saw them making it from the pickup counter it made sense why. The mixologist was very meticulous with the portions of sugar I had asked for, the flavors and even added slices of lime and mint leaves. The taste was absolutely worth it even at 50% sugar, in fact, the real essence of the subtle flavors from lime and mint were more noticeable here without the overpowering sweetness. Their boba was also soft and easy to chew with nice level of sweetness. Other competitors have decent drinks but no one has the variety and taste as these guys. I came here on a Saturday afternoon and was able to order with almost no wait. The girl at the register was really sweet and explained all the drinks whenever guests had questions, and she was really patient as I chose what to order. I got a Kokee milk tea and two orange sangrias (one with grapefruit and one with passionfruit) to give to my friends. Everyone loved their drinks! The drinks were also made very quickly.
