    Half Dozen Mochi Donut
    Jasmine K.

Kokee Kitchen is located inside of the spring field mall a tad bit tucked away. I didn't get any food but I got the half dozen donuts because I didn't know which flavor to get so I just decided to get the ones I wanted to try the most. I got the coconut, Oreo, red velvet, matcha, and taro. I personally love taro flavored stuff and I'd say the flavor was the most distinct out of all.... Well I mean the taro and the coconut (I'm just not crazy about coconut). I tried all but the matcha because it was getting to be too much. The good thing about these donuts is that they aren't overly sweet like American donuts are but I'm not sure if I'd say these half dozen donuts were worth $16.95 which is what I paid including tax. They all kinda tasted the same in my opinion. I just like the chewy texture and the not too sweet ness of these donuts. Would I come back? Eh probably(if I'm in the mall) because I love desserts but I definitely would not pay for half a dozen or more... I'd just get my $2.99 taro mochi donut and call it. I don't think this is something I would necessarily crave either but I'm glad I killed my curiosity and tried it!

    Beef bulgogi taco

Located on the 2nd floor of the old Springfield Mall currently Springfield Center I think???? Anyways ordered a Beef Bulgogi taco it was amazing.. added kimchi, pico, cilantro and cabbage with soy garlic sauce, that first bite was incredible! Then ordered a half cheese and half sausage corn dog... so glad I did because it was also amazing with the soy and garlic sauce! Even with the surprise I got when I realized the sausage was actually a Vienna Weeny... but it works it was good! The young lady working the counter was so friendly and willing to help with any questions great customer service! Def recommend this for a quick delicious snack or meal....

I ordered Kokee Box. It consists of half rice half japchae along with some greens & steamed corn. I chose Bulgogi as a topping with creamy chipotle. They have gochucang sauce as well as any other we can pick and NO, YOU CANT have 2 sauces :( The associate insists that we can only get one no matter how you convince you're willing to pay for extra lol Also lack of English maybe cause the misunderstanding about the sauce, maybeeeeeeeee idk but anyway it was OKAY. edible but of course we had better bulgogi everywhere else, right? But, if you are in the mall, hungry and wants a quick fix and refuse to stand on long line and Sarku Japan, this is your alternative for a quick ten bucks fix :) make sure you add some of those sauces because if not, it's quite plain and painful lol cheers!

I was in town for a wedding. Decided to get a bite to eat while my wife shopped around. I walked around the food court and saw that lots of people had these brown paper to go boxes which looked like some kind of Korean concoction. I made my way to Kokee kitchen and saw the brown boxes. There was an ideal taco special that was on displayed that looked like it would hit the spot. For 10$. It was the best food court food I have ever had. You get a pork, bugolgi, and chicken taco. Complete with whatever fixing and sauces you want. I live in Rockville and would be so happy if they opened a small stand or eatery in my local mall.

Kokee Kitchen is located in the Food Court in Springfield Mall and is a decent option if you are looking for a quick bite while shopping. They have an interesting menu that includes tacos with a variety of meats, Korean fried wings, and even a corn dog with cheese inside. We decided to go with the bulgogi tacos and Korean fried wings in soy garlic sauce. Both were pretty average overall. You get to choose from a variety toppings (lettuce, corn, Kim chi, cheese, etc.) for your tacos which was a nice surprise. The wings were pretty big and freshly fried so you are guaranteed a hot entree. The soy garlic sauce isn't as sweet as you would expect like some of the other chains but still pretty tasty. Wanted to grab a quick bite so I didn't want to get the corn dog... might be something for next time.

    Kokee chicken taco.

Interesting taco with a little different ingredients from the usual taco. Chicken needs to be a bit more moist.

This place was a little hard to find since it wouldn't show up on google maps, but it's just in the food court of a big mall. Anyway, I got a Kokee Box, which came with rice, salad, choice of meat (I did half pork and half shrimp) and a sauce to top it off (chili kochujang). The rice was hot, like it was just cooked, the shrimp was crispy and went well with the kochujang sauce. It's a genuinely good take out place in the food court. I believe they also have a cafe with bubble tea and stuff somewhere else in the mall as well.

    Bulgogi KOKEE BOX

A friend of mine introduced me to this place. She told me how delicious and affordable the food is and that I should check it out. I was wondering why there was a long line. No Lie. The Bulgogi Kokee Bowl is delicious! It's my favorite one so far. I tried the spicy pork and it's just as good . They give out military discount, by the way. Unless they changed it. ‍ Either way, food is amazing and the staff are friendly. They will give you that big smile. I recommend eating here .

Beef Bulgogi Box with all the fixings. Included japchae, a little kimchi, and your choice of toppings and sauce. Thumbs up!

It was close to Green Spring Gardens, a place we were visiting nearby. I noticed immediately that you made orders on a touch screen kiosk and typed in the number on a restaurant pager buzzer to alert you when your food was ready. We signed up for points on our order with Taco Rock by giving my email address and earned a $2 off reward on our first order to use that day. We ordered takeout - 6 lengua tacos. I sat at the bar and was served an iced water without realizing it. The bartender asked what I was ordering, so I decided to sample the happy hour classic margarita for $6. It was fancy for a $6 Margarita with a toasted lime on it. Delicious. I was impressed at how courteous and efficient the bartender was at her job. I needed the iced water without realizing it being dehydrated from my outdoor walk. The takeout order was ready to go in ten minutes or less. There was a prep area for taco sauces. I got a few to go sauces. The tacos were spicy and had some thinly cut peppers in them. It was too spicy in one bite I had of a taco. Yet they were the best lengua tacos I had in this area. Definitely would come back here again and try more items on their men

Dropped in a few weeks ago for the first time and sat at the outdoor bar. There was some huge soccer game so they were busy, but didn't forget about us. I ordered from the server computer thing and went across the board with the gringo, fried grouper and pollo tacos. Plain Jane enough but I'm a plain Jane kind of white guy. Idk if it was the captain and cokes but my wife and I went back for 3rds, and she went in for the ceviche. I'm telling you that alone rivaled anything I've had overseas, and after 6 years in LA trolling just about every taco joint there, Taco Rock could hold their own against anything in Cali. We actually ordered a huge catering package when we had some friends over this weekend and they didn't disappoint. They forgot a few things (there was a ton of it) but sent a guy straight away to drop it off. One of the better places I've been to in years.

They also have a couple of handheld menus at the counter. Seating is minimal with metal tables and chairs, so if you're a diva, bring your donut cushion. I ordered the Carnitas and pork belly, both sold as sides. The pork belly sits under a warmer at the counter, daring you to stay committed to that Weight Watchers plan. It's sold by the pound, and my piece came to $4.80. I almost put it back, but I'm pretty sure there's an unwritten rule about not returning food you've already mentally claimed. Even the cashier said, "Oof, that's pricey," but listen I liked it, and I'd pay it again. The half‑pound Carnitas for $7.99 were delicious and worth every penny.
