Took in my 30% coupon. Was told at the register the pajamas and socks for my grandchildren for$200 didn't qualify for the discount. Sick of Kohls and their deceiving practices. Won't be back and won't ever give them another dime. Also sad when their credit card interest rate will be 31.24%. This store could not open on time if their lives depended upon it. I like to shop early and it never fails to find this store never opens its doors on time. Unfortunately this is the only store in town that keep up with current men's clothing trends. I travel extensively to Europe and dread buying clothes here in Sonora due to the men's trends these stores cater to... country flannel, sawmill types. I am a 36w x 34L trouser wearer and I can rarely find my length in jeans. The store holiday sales are always great and it's like a treasure hunt finding awesome deals on good name brand clothing. The sales staff seem to be in Lala land when trying to get help but after all it is Sonora and possibly I expect too much from such an enclave of a town where 75% of the population is retirees. read more

I'm normally 100% with Kohls but today I'm VERY angry with them ! I just tried to buy "Household" item through .Com and when my coupons were rejected I called in, they informed me that I couldn't use ANY discounts on a $250 item I asked why do they sell items like that on Kohls I spend an obscene amount of money their yearly just to be an MVP Only answer I was given was he did not know he's only reading from the computer to me that's not an answer. read more

I ordered online a Big Mabel tube 8-20-20. Cost was $422.55. Within 2 hours my husband advised he had purchased on the same item at another store so I went online to cancel the order. Since it had been more than 30 minutes I couldn't cancel online. I called and The kohls rep said to refuse the FedEx delivery when it came as that was the fastest way to get refunded. I did that about a week later. 10 days later I called Kohl's as I had not been refunded and they said I had to wait another 7 to 10 days for them to confirm the item was in received back. 10 days later still no word from Kohl's or refund, I called them again and they said the same thing I had to wait another 7 to 10 days that they had the item but they were processing my return. 10 days later I called the corporate office to be told they had an issue with the refund and she had to put in a special ticket request and was sure I would get my refund within 10 days. Today I called the corporate office of Kohls to be told that my refund was delayed as Kohl's had not been refunded by the vendor they bought the tube from! I was shocked as I didn't realize if you order on Kohl's.com your return is based on Kohl's getting paid back before you get your money.....wth?? I called back again today and now I'm being told they actually issued me a refund October 2 and they can't seem to track that refund so they need a few more days. It's been 60 days now still no refund! Do not order on Kohl's.com! read more

I like this store. It's clean and usually pretty organized. The prices are steep, but they usually have a good clearance section and good sales happening. I like the selection of just about everything in the store! The only thing I don't like are the pushy sales people trying to get you to open an account with them. I get it, you have to meet goals, but please don't follow people around the store while they're trying to shop! read more

I went to your Sonora store today found what I was looking for but there was not any checkers to be found. There were already 2 people in line but NO CHECKER around. That's really bad service after a few minutes a lady taking her time did not apologize started taking the people in line. read more

I absolutely love this store!! The people are always friendly & very helpful!! I would recommend ANYBODY & EVERYBODY to shop here. I have never seen anybody ever being treated poorly here...and i have been here on many many occasions. I actually witnessed a customer named Mary W. Cuss at an employee and the employee just shrugged it off & continued to help the out of control customer with her issue. I was impressed with the employees reaction...not so impressed with Mary W.'s reaction. read more

For a small town store the selection is ok. The quality of the clothes is a bit cheap, but they have Levis and Lee's for a reasonable price albeit poor selection of both cuts. Despite the poor selection and quality of the clothes the employees were fantastic. They were happy and helpful. I will continue to shop there since it is the best in town. read more

The best kohls I've ever shopped at, every employee greeted me. They were super friendly and genuinely appeared to enjoy their job. I've never experienced such great customer service. I live in riverbank and I had forgotten my 30% off coupon at home and when I informed them of it the said "no problem, we will take care of you". They are amazing and every time I head to Sonora I make it a point to shop here. They are 100 times better than the one in riverbank. read more

I haven't been the biggest fan of Kohl's, but my husband tends to go here first for jeans and work pants. They do have a great selection of Essie, which is where I headed and was greeted by the BEST sales associate. We spent the next 30 minutes looking through lip glosses and lip sticks as well other selections in the cosmetics department. He was super helpful and great to chat with, very knowledgeable of all the products and brands. The prices don't seem to be discounted too much for the brand name items, but I was able to find a pair of Rainbow knock off flip flops for $5! read more

Had a great experience. Called and asked for a specific product. When I looked in the store and couldn't find it, the sales associate walked me over. Then she helped me look to the kiosk. An "A" for effort on manager Megan's part but a D for customer service overall. My daughter was treated so poorly when she tried to check out, that she called me from their parking lot when she was finished. I phoned the store and complained and spoke with Megan. She asked my daughter to return and did her best to make everything better which included refunding an $80 purchase and giving her a discount to make it all right. My 17 year old said Megan seemed genuinely nice. However, later I saw that we were charged twice for the purchase on my ATM/Visa card. I drove 30 minutes back to the store today and spoke to Melissa. She basically told me that the $80 had been given to my daughter and that nothing could be changed , that I should speak to my daughter as she had received the cash. After I waded thru this accusation she sighed and said she could ask for a security investigation to be opened, however her accusation hung heavily between us. Furthermore, Melissa was leaving for lunch and would pass it on...she went to speak with security. She came back to the counter quickly, stating that it had been their mistake and the additional $80 would be refunded directly. She apologized and I told her that I felt she had accused my daughter of lying/stealing from me. She breezily said it was the paperwork. I do not think this young lady is mature enough to work customer service. Despite Megan's efforts, I will not be back. read more
