Within a minute of entering the store, we were greeted by Brant. He asked if we were looking for anything specific, showed us to the machine we wanted, and checked the warehouse to confirm that they had the exact model and color we wanted. He directed us to the counter to do the paperwork and gave my son a Serta stuffed sheep (which he loved!). Brant thoroughly explained the cost of everything (PS: the prices are very good!) and scheduled delivery for the following day. The delivery men were polite, professional, and respectful of our home. They called when they were on their way, as requested. They removed the old machine, installed the new one, and made sure everything was in working order before they left. All in all, our experience was excellent, and we will definitely remember Myers for our future furniture and appliance needs!

It must be a difficult store to work with all the people always in the store. I think it's universal, though. I've shopped Big Lots in Florida and Texas, as well, and all the staffers are friendly. Here is a store that usually has international groceries such as noodles and sauces from Malaysia, biscuits/cookies and stollen from Germany, and pasta from Italy. They also have groceries from the U.S.A. Of course, it's all about the deals and they have plenty of them. A word of caution is necessary. A few years ago, I noticed that they started to carry full price items and interspersed them with their discounted liquidation items. If you don't compare, you may be paying full price. In this town, there are few places to shop and Big Lots can undercut WalMart and Kmart easily, even at those stores' lowest prices. You've heard the cautionary statement "You get what you pay for"? It can be very true, at any of those stores. Name brands matter. Check for quality. Don't assume anything.

They were very helpful in the frames department & gave us some suggestions on new matting. We left the picture with them & an hour later, they said it was ready. My son paid the $77 for the new frame & glass plus new matting as a Christmas present for his Dad. We were pleased with the quality of the work & the speed of getting it done. Mostly work gear, men's jeans, plain T shirts, thick socks etc. This last visit I had success with some closeout Del Monte canned vegetables and tomato products but overall the food items don't really seem all that cheap. Disappointingly, they do not have even one electric scooter shopping cart for people with mobility issues. The staff members are very sweet and pleasant and there is usually an adequate number of them. It is fun to roam around in here every couple of months, as you might possibly find a hidden gem.
