Everyone we encountered from attendees to vendors were all friendly and laid back. There were plenty of cool flea market clothing finds but we were mostly attracted to the art, much of which had Cincinnati themes. Our daughter and her boyfriend just moved into a new place, and they got a few pieces of unique art, including a Findlay Market painting, to hang on their walls. Washington Park was well maintained and clean. There were lots of park benches and the shade from the big trees added to the ambiance. The flea market was a great way to spend an hour or so.

There are some gems here hidden in along the generic garbage and mlm vendors. My favorites are the wildberry incense and fake flower arrangment booth, the purse lady, the person with all the freeze dried candy and the tupperware, the homemade wax melt lady, and the person who makes pillows. The food is also pretty good and some of it is made fresh. Honestly - the dusty flea market is a vibe for me - reminds me of my childhood and is worth the initial 3 bucks to get in.

If you love flea markets and are able to walk then this might be the place for you. The front row…read moreline is always produce, flowers, plants, trees, and different animals for sale. You might find rabbits, goats, cats, dogs, chickens, ducks, pigs, peacocks, and who knows what. Today they had duck eggs for sale by the dozen and that's the first time I have seen that! I bought a case of asparagus for $3.00, a case of tomatoes for $10.00, a huge bag (50)lbs of sweet onions for $20.00. I bought some miscellaneous items too. You just never know what you might find. It is so much fun and being out in the country without all of the junk in the air is good for your lungs which is also good for your heart. Bring a cart or a wagon, (if you're like me) and remember those neighbors and friends and family members when you see those great buys. I love sharing the big bags of fruits and vegetables.
