What I did see I thought some things were priced well and some were overpriced but that is the way it is when you have booths as everyone prices their items differently. National Road Antique Mall is one of 17 antique shops in the town. The mall is filled with two stories of antique booths that carry primitive antiques and vintage Americana. Many booths were offering sale prices. I was greeted when I walked in by friendly staff. The mall is clean with mostly wide aisles. There is a restroom centrally located on the first floor. There as plenty of free street parking today, but probably at a premium when summer rolls around.

After a quick jaunt in the antique stores of Lewisville, by the time we got to Cambridge City, my suspicions had been confirmed: Sunday is "Bring Your Drink to Work Day" in small-town Indiana. Doublehead Trading Company has EVERYTHING. The owner is the type of guy who has three of everything and the shop looks like chaos, but if you ask for something specific, he walks to the back corner of some random area and pulls out exactly what you're looking for. Oh, and he was drinking tequila when we walked in, and he offered some to me in a glass that was "almost clean." A fun and quirky space with an equally entertaining owner. A must-stop when venturing through Cambridge City!

Some of the prices I found to be a little high in here but overall pretty nice little shop. They had a lot of varied items and I still found a couple of things I purchased. They had a clothing items, antiques, vintage items, and assorted other things. The clothes they had were both children and adults. On this day their credit card machine was down so I ended up having to run out to my vehicle to get my checkbook but it was all good after that. The lady at the counter was really nice and one of the items I bought was glass and she wrapped it nicely so it didn't break. I will probably venture back in here to see what they have another time.

Hole in the Wall is one of my favorite antique shops: great prices, lots to choose from (although…read moreit's a bit crowded) and fantastically friendly ladies running the place. They're helpful and knowledgeable without being pushy or know-it-all. I don't think I've ever left without buying at least one or two things. I don't know why Centerville gets all the antique accolades - Cambridge City is really the goldmine as far as I'm concerned.

I did not purchase any items in this shop as I am more of a jewelry/clothing type of gal. I think it is still worth a visit into this shop if you are looking to decorate your home or need storage type pieces.
