Visited this place upon seeing some family, I need a interview outfit quickly. Visited the women's section for the business casual area and it was not organized at all. I was annoyed bc the clothes that I had grabbed and took to the dressing room had the wrong size on the hanger which I needed but the clothes in general were the wrong size on the clothes. I had to go back out and fumble to find the right side and the slacks were all mixed in together with different brands and sizes were all over the place I just grabbed what I could. We don't come here in the cold months, but as usual, it's Kohl's for the summer. We usually think this store is pretty good and my ex is really in love with the store, and a regular member, but this one is anything but good. There are massive problems with their systems, and it's disorganized and perhaps most worryingly the service here is pretty poor, especially with regards to their inept responses to the bad systems and returns, and sometimes I think it's intentionally that way. read more

Never seen a kohls this dirty or poorly taken care of. Usually kohls is a solid store with a decent selection of sports gear and good prices. Gotta love Kohls cash for follow up purchases too. This location tho had a very limited selection of Mens clothes compared to what I'm used to. Plus the shoe section was a disaster with shoes and shoe boxes everywhere and stuff thrown on the floor. Most of the clothes in the mens department that weren't hung up were loosely thrown on the display and not folded. no surprise, the urinals were both outta service too. No inventory and a rude staff. What kind of business model is this? What is nice about Kohls is they have a great location off Grand Parkway. It all stops there. If you are looking for something nice or ask for help you will come to decision to get out and get out quick. That's exactly what happened in my last two experiences. There must have been a change in management because I recall enjoying Kohls a few years back. My wife and I went in together so she could pick out a dressy pair of pumps and a light jacket. After searching the store for 20 minutes we could not locate any dress jackets so I asked for help. Bad choice, obviously because I interrupted two clerks who were having a private conversation. I was told that on no uncertain terms that I was an idiot for not seeing any jackets and if I was just to walk around the corner I would find plenty of choices on the back wall. For the past 5 years, Kohl's has been one of my favorite stores!!! From kid's stuff to household items, I was always happy with their merchandise. Shopping experience was excellent too! Well sadly to say, things took a big turn for the worst yesterday. I don't know if it had something to do with the pandemic or what, Kohl's sells crappy items. Just ordered a very charming ladybug wind chime as one of my birthday gifts. For some weird reasons, they used some sticky wraps for packaging. Before leaving the store, I did check my item and it was all good. However, when I got home trying to hang it up, the ladybug on the right fell off right away!!!! Wow. I drove 25+ miles to this store to pick up this piece and crap and now I gave to return it!!!! Waste of time and gas!!! Kohl's should do something about this. I went in there to collect some hangers for a church that needed to do a fundraiser. Kohl's always gives us hangers. Well I go over today and I went to the customer service to get hangers and a price check on some Sandals. As soon as I walked up the pepper haired middle aged women in customer service looks at me up and down real ugly. My heart started beating fast. I was dressed like a bum but I don't really dress what my pay check shows. 6 figures. I'm very humble. She called her boss and said that they always give my church hangers. I didn't say that but ok. Then she turns and says her boss said no because they recycle the hangers. I know for a fact that's a lie. The manager name was Scott. So I proceeded to ask about the Sandals and asked why they were all different prices. She said they were different sizes. The tag was identical. So I just walked off Then I go to check out. We waited 20 min when we were next those 20 min. Service was so slow. Then it's our turn I asked the guy about the different prices on the Sandals he says oh the cheaper price must be a return. I'm like your guessing no one would match the price. I was blown away. Well when he rang it up they were all the cheap price. Oh and I asked him for hangers and gave me some. I saw both registers give everyone the hangers. They don't recycle. I'm a kohl's shopper I will never ever go back to that one again. I felt like crap leaving there. Lazy and poor customer service. I was not impressed with this location. I don't go to Kohl's very often but I will not be back here. I came on a Sunday, mid-day and the store was not that packed. I will say I have no clue if they were short staffed this day but something needs to change. I went for the purpose of finding new fall / winter clothing, mainly sweaters. The women's section looked horrible!!!! Everything looked thrown together and there were so many clothes just shoved places and all over the floor. They did have lots of racks of summer clearance items however, they were just put in where ever there was space. There was no sectioning to tell what was new in stock and what was on sale. I did have to walk past the juniors section (girls) and it was the same way! Everything was a bit overwhelming for my taste. I like to go in for a particular item and be able to find it. I did try on a couple of items but nothing worked. There are other Kohl's in the area and I would be willing to try them out but I won't be back to this location again. read more

I went into the store to pick up my online order composed of 1 item. As I walked in I grabbed one of the Kohls Cares" stuffed animals at the front of the store, before heading to pick up my online order. The lady got me my item. I then asked if I could pay for the $5 stuffed animal there so I wouldn't have to wait in another line (and based on my many previous experiences here, waiting in their lines are a substantial investment of time). She said no because there was ONE person behind me. I was paying cash for a 5 dollar item; She couldn't help me out and check me out really quick? She said no, and suggested there would be no line at the regular registers....ha! To top it off, I was in a line with a sign posted for "returns and checkout." This store's dressing rooms are extremely hot and miserable to use. Was standing waiting for one to open up and the lady beside me was fanning herself and finally had to walk out. The last couple of times I have visited this location I have not been happy with the women's clothing section. I went in recently to look for a pair of slacks and when I found them it was a mess! All the women's slacks were all crammed together on one rack and all the various brands were mixed together with no way to tell them apart. I could barely pry a pair out to look at them, that's how tight they were crammed together. I decided instead of pulling them out that I would look at the hanger instead... Wrong idea. The hangers in no way matched the actual size of the pants. The hangers had random women's number sizes, then some had S,M,L and then there were men's size hangers with ladies pants on them. It was such a frustrating experience that I gave up and left. This is a higher quality store, I don't want to feel like I'm at Ross having to dig my way through everything to find what I'm looking for. They have the space, they need to spread out and organize better and they would have much happier customers. read more

I have something of a love hate relationship with Kohl's. A significant number of my favorite clothing items have come from Kohl's over the years. In fact the sweater I'm wearing in my profile pic came out of a Kohl's, and I've gotten some awesome deals from them as well. But there are some things about them that just aggravate the snot out of me. So the easiest way to rate them is to list the pros and cons and let you decide which side wins. First let me rate the Pros: 1. Reasonable prices on clothes, accessories, and shoes. Yeah some retail prices are a bit absurd for a place like Kohl's, but as somebody already mentioned here, they are pretty quick to drop their prices. 2. Fun styles for all ages. I'm at a stage in life where I can shop all over the store depending on what I'm looking for. I can still find items in juniors I like, but have also found items in misses that I didn't think were fuddy duddy. 3. Good coupons and mailers. I haven't gotten any since I moved, but back in Georgia I used to get awesome coupon cards for Kohl's in the mail. I've got to figure out how to get back on their mailing list. 4. They seem to be all over the country. From Georgia, to Florida, to South Carolina, to Texas. I've always had a Koh'ls within reach of me. I do wish the one here in Texas was a little closer tho. Now for the Cons: 1. The store is always a wreck and the racks are always either overstuffed or nearly bare. The dressing rooms are often covered in clothes and the return racks are always bulging at the seems. Seriously they need help badly when it comes to their merchandising and recovery. I would be embarrassed to be responsible for this mess. It's getting to the point where they look as bad as a Ross store. 2. There are never any associates on the floor. Good luck if you need help because you aren't getting it easily. They appear to be severely under staffing their stores which is probably why they look like such a mess. 3. I'm sick of them constantly pushing that d@mn in house credit card. No I don't want to get a few dollars off so that you can stick me with a 20+% interest rate. What a crappy way to make money. 4. Housewares aren't much of a bargain. I can find better selection and price elsewhere. It's probably why those always seem to be the neatest parts of the store. And of course those are just my opinions. I will keep shopping at Kohl's and I'm sure I will continue to be either elated or frustrated by varying degrees when I do. read more

I usually go to Kohl's because of the prices. Of course the Kohl's cash and coupons are typically why I return. I usually shop at the one on 59 in Rosenberg, but sometimes when I'm over in this part of Sugar Land, I will shop here. I went with my husband the other day and was unimpressed with the men's clothing department. Maybe it was a bad day but there were clothes that were not organized well and the dressing rooms were a bit messy. Overall ok. Not the most organized Kohls I have ever been in but not bad. I used to be able to find all kinds of cute stuff at kohls but now it seems all clothes are for tweens and teens or women in their sixties. Tried to find some jeans as kohls is one of my usual go to spots for Levis that come in Long as I am tall. Their levi section was totally disorganized and hard to find anything. The dressing rooms had discarded clothes in them and several of the women's shoe aisles were messy. I have been to several Kohls' Stores and this one in particular has the worst associates. Especially Gipsy which did a return for me at customer service. I walked up to her and she just looked at me so I explained I needed to return some items and I placed my bag on the counter and she continued to stare at me. So we both stood there until she finally took the items out of the bag with an attitude. The whole time she processed it she didn't say a word to me. She just placed the receipt and my money on the counter and walked off. Really!?!? I was shocked on how unprofessional this lady was. Another occasion, (and the reason for me to continue to shop at this store is because it's right by my job) I stopped by the jewelry department and saw some earrings I wanted to purchase. There was a lady by the name of Githa which was helping a customer already so I patiently waited. She turned around and gave me a look but didn't say anything Another lady (white lady) walked up too and Githa acknowledged her and greeted her. After 10 minutes or so she finished with the first customer and went straight to the second lady that walked up after me. I didn't get upset or anything but I did tell her "excuse me when you're done with her can you please help me" well Githa acted like no one spoke to her. I repeated myself and once again she ignored me. I felt very discriminated (not trying to throw the race card) at that point because both ladies she helped were white and me being Hispanic didn't even bother to acknowledge me. I guess she felt like I was just there to waste her time and just ask her prices when in reality I was there to purchase some earrings and the white ladies were indeed just asking for price checks, but I guess she lost a sale because she wanted to be petty. On 4/23/2017 Once again dealt with a bad attitude at the register. It was an African American guy (didn't get his name but associate number starts with 2699) didn't even greet us and I tried explaining there was an item without a tag so I brought another one to make it easier on them and his response was "yeah I know" how the heck do you know? I'm not the confrontational type of person so I tend to keep to myself but I did somehow have to get it out. I was less than inspired by the clothing, accessories, and shoes on both the men and women's sides of the store. I love thrift shopping for everyday pieces but kohls is losing their mind on some of the prices. I Would never pay $60 for a thin daytime casual blazer from kohls considering I just bought a nice one from banana republic for that price. The good thing is that the Prices usually fall within 2-3 weeks (can usually snag 50% off or more by then). The sale racks were completely unshoppable, I didn't even dare go through that mess. I ended up with a piece of furniture, some tops, shorts, and cologne for little bro, and my mom bought some basics. It came out to be around $230 buy with a $10 kohls cash and a little flirting, I received an extra $42 off so it came out to be $172 which was pretty good for everything I bought. I'm going to try the other Kohls to see what their selection is like but for now I think I'll stick with Marshall's and vintage stores for thrift shopping! read more
