Always disappointing to visit this store. Everytime you go there, they have only two fitting rooms open and a huge long line. People just leave stuff there and leave after they already have spent hours in store to choose clothing. If you ask the staff to open the other side of the fitting room, they just role their eyes with disgusting attitude. Utter disappointment. This is the best Ross in the area. The staff is helpful and polite. The selection is good, and the value is great, but items do not last long so if you see it put in your cart or it is gone. I like feeling secure when I walk to my car, so I appreciate when security is present and greets you. read more

I was being a customer here for years and spend $200 average each time of visit for everything it was pretty experience until today. I bought some clothes week ago and when the 1st day I wear one of them. My friend tell me there is a hole at back. I take it back to store for return. They refused it because it was wore and they cannot resale it. I believe this is the reason why I bought a damage one. Because someone found the hole and return it but they still re-sale it. read more

I just left this specific ross location, i was trying to return a dish rack because it was rusting and its staining my plates. They said, "they cant accept return when it's used". I asked them, "how can i possibly know its rusting if I didn't use it?". They couldn't answer my question and just wouldn't accept this shitty dish rack from their store. Just found out ross have bad customer service, i would not buy anything from this store again! Im better buying from walmart and amazon! Be careful when buying from this store! read more

Great selection in purses. Lots of colors for the fall season. They also have a wonderful Selection of boots. The departments are well organized and easy to shop. My only complaint is there is never enough cashiers open for the amount of traffic this store has. read more

me and my family are frequent shoppers at this location. sadly every time we shop we get followed by the security lady, is extremely uncomfortable, I asume we get followed because we are hispanics, sadly i'm used to it now. today was the last straw me and my family were shopping and browsing the store while we were getting follow, mostly my younger brother (teen) this situation had us so uncomfortable that my mom approached the security lady asking if she had a problem with my brother since she's been following him around the store for more than an hour. to which her response was extremely rude, by not even having the decency to look at her, she talked down to my mom saying that she followed everyone and made a hand gesture asking her to go away. we have notice her behavior over the years we have frequent this establishment and we have noticed that she follows mainly Hispanics and blacks this behavisor is unacceptable, i understand that there is cameras recording all time, cameras can't recognize races, is that why she is there? or what is her purpose because I'm sure is to make costumers feel safe not harassed read more

This place always looks like black Friday just happened. Things all over the place. long lines with staff walking around as if they are putting things back. longest wait time was 20 minutes only because I found good deals or else I would have put my things back and walked out.. Am this is by far one if the most organized Rosses (is that a word?) in the Houston area. They always have a huge selection of dresses and their home goods are exceptional as well However, their customer service is horrible! They usually have a slew of young girls working who are always talking amongst themselves during check out or near the fitting room. The older ladies that work their are much friendlier. Even though the CS isn't the best the quality and quantity of the selections definitely make up for it. read more

Customer service here is terrible. But I think most Ross stores have bad service, and I truly don't think they seem to care. The line was long (midday Tuesday) and they have one girl on a register. The other girls are working on something, but the lack of initiative to help out the girl on the register needs to be corrected. Yes, we have taken our time to walk around and shop, so we can certainly wait in line. But to have at least 8 people in line while there are no sense of urgency to help out, this was horrible service. read more

A definite go-to place when needing to shop for good clothing! This Ross is by far the cleanest and most organized Ross I've ever encountered. However, there could still be more work done to improve the store. Quality of clothing is decent but with some deep searching, the best clothes can be found. Guess I forgot how terrible this location is for Ross & I stupidly came here again hoping to find something. I always find something at the Fry @ I 10 store. Really don't care for the buyer 's choices for this store. Hard work to find something cute then always find out, whoops! it's placed in the wrong size section! Checking out I was wrongly at the exchange window, sooo had to back up to go around winding out the checkout line, bumping into over-the-edge Christmas decorations to the floor along the way. Finally at the correct checkout lane there is no one there. There were 3 mumbling clerks at the exchange counter. A voice finally said "over here ma'am" --I looked but no one was looking at me--I couldn't tell where to go. There were only two of us in line. I called into space, "did someone say to me, 'over here, ma'am?'" LaWanna, frowning, said "yes, here" w eye contact less than a half-second. She mumbled mumbled & mumbled w zero eye contact while checking out my items. I asked her, "Did u say something to me?" She paused, said, "no" & continued her non-stop conversation w the other two clerks. I have never felt so slighted & ignored & worthless. Did I say, "Worthless"? That IS MY money paying her salary! While the women's clothes were lacking (not in number but in quality), there were lots of great kids clothes options and men's clothes. I bought several pairs of shorts for my son that were originally from The Children's Place ranging from $6-8. I also purchased some nice short sleeved polo work shirts for my husband ranging from $11-14. When I went to check out the women's shoes there were two workers restocking in my size that refused to move over and let me browse. Whatevs. read more

Horrific! It's like coming into a scene straight from Friday the 13th. The place as mentioned by others is extremely disorganised. However because it's so close to home my family and I shop here for some quick goods. A few days ago my mum went to return a dress that didn't fit her. The tags were still there but my she had lost her receipt. We waited in the long line but we're eventually called to the register. From there an elderly Hispanic lady helped us. We told her that we didn't have a receipt but we could show proof that the item was purchased via credit card. The lady didn't say anything and was analysing the dress. She scanned the item and looked as if she had solved some mystery from a crime movie. She then said "I'm sorry but this dress was purchase from another store and not at Ross. I suggest you return it to where it came from. It's not from here." Bagged my mum went yakuza/Mafia on the lady. She just accused my mum of stealing a dress that costed $15 dollars. Honestly in all due respect what would my mum have reason to steal $15????? Absurd!!! I reckon I must have farted rainbows witnessing the series of ridiculous events unfolding to me!!!!! Long story short my mum was given a refund via credit card but later found out she was issued a gift card with the credit. She never got it and so the dresses was returned but mum got the credit. A regular shopper at Ross. Today I forgot my phone needed to call my husband for a ride was in a bind. Asked store manager lady if I could make a quick call for above reason. Extremely rude basically said you can't use our phone you are welcome to ask around the customers, went next door to children's place lady helped me out immediately. My grandmother loves taking advantage of the Tuesday special and this store always acts like it is torture for them. The middle- aged woman who works here literally acted like we were stealing from her personally because I held my grandmother's credit card (because it was hard for her to stand) she looked at the name on my grandmother's id numerous times to make sure the names matched. During Christmas, a manager had worked there and she was so rude she also had called me a liar and NEVER apologized for her mistake, glad to see that that one bad employee is gone now please get rid of the rest of these horrible employees. I live 5 minutes from this store and I would rather drive the extra 15 minutes to go to the store in Katy Mills for better customer service. This ross would get my business so much but the customer service is just not worth it and when I need to shop in a hurry I just go to Kohls now.
