On Monday February 6, we went into the store to order our coming soon baby stroller and car seat. We purchased the Britax BAgile & Be Safe 2015 travel system. Had it delivered two days later. Yesterday I decided to open the packages just to make sure that everything was in the box. To our SURPRISE, everything was obviously used. The car seat tho, was peed and stained. The smell was so strong! And it was super yellow! We called Customer service who basically said to take it to any store for a refund. OBVIOUSLY! Who would keep anything like this after paying $200 plus. We went into the store and the manager was EXTREMELY helpful. This review isn't about this location but more about KOHLS in general. If I would have waited until I actually had my baby, I would be left without a car seat and stroller to use for my son. How does a nationwide store "accidentally" sent out something like this to a customer. ? To top it off, the customer service rep said she would write a report and email me details as soon as we hung up. When I asked for her name multiple times. She just said that it would be in the report. Never got an email. Said I would get a $20 discount! This isn't a matter of a discount. It's about knowing that you are providing the best products for your customers. Which we trust that we will get what we pay for. Not some "damaged" product that accidentally got sent out. I'll be honest, I've only been a kohls customer for like TWO WEEKS. First it was a pair of flats for my daughter that fell apart with just one day of wearing them. I wasn't going to say anything about that since they were fairly cheap. But the stroller and car seat is unacceptable. Tell me please why I should give Kohl's another chance?! I get you provide low prices and what not, but you clearly provide Low Quality! read more

I've reviewed the Kohl's store located down in South Phoenix/Ahwatukee and seeing that Kohl's is a chain there isn't much difference between each store that I've found. But once again I have to admit that Kohl's usually has some pretty good sales going. And if you add in the discounts they send you in the mail (or email) if you are a credit card holder you can really get some great deals. I'm always amazed how much stuff you can walk out with for the money you spend. Check out the clearance racks and sale signs throughout the store. The store was clean and well-stocked and checkout was a breeze. I tend to be a thrifty shopper and am usually pretty happy with the Kohl's shopping experience. Went in on a Saturday night and the staff followed me around. Got to the fitting room to try on a top and I was the only person they asked to see how many items I was taking in. The other people that tried on clothes were not asked how many items they had. As a minority I was offended. There was a guy putting clothes away and he hid in a fitting room next to mine listening to what I was doing. I didn't even know he was in there until I walked out and he popped out of the fitting room next to mine and he didn't have any clothes in his hand, so what else was he doing? First of all a guy shouldn't be in a women's fitting room in the first place and secondly, he didn't have clothes when he came out so I knew he was listening to what I was doing in my fitting room. I left the store immediately and I'm never going back. I was the only minority person in the store btw, I knew the were targeting me and watching me. read more

I placed an order online to send for Christmas and two of the items came back with a confirmation that I had to pick them up in a store. When I called to ask why this happened they said it's my fault that I selected in store. Why in the world would I do that when I'm wanting to ship it all to Colorado and why would I asked for two items to be sent to two different stores! Boo!! Boo! Boo!!!When I called they said it will be at least two weeks before I would possibly get a refund and that once you process an order you can't cancel it! That's terrible!! read more

Too long of lines, not enough people working the tills. However there are plenty of employees standing around, looking like they hate their job. So I've never really shopped at Kohl's before even though I have friends who swear by the store. I needed to do some last minute shopping for me and my family before going out of town for a wedding. Kohl's was right on the money! We were able to find something for all of us with no problem and the prices were prefect. We looked great at wedding and received compliments. you know this place bummed me out the other day. They wouldn't accept my kohls cash. I had used it after it expired and then tried again and they wouldn't take it. I love Kohl's! They have a really great marketing scheme which always keeps you coming back- even if you can see right thru it. Mark items up and then put them on "sale." But with email coupons, mailers, and Kohl's cash- I'm always coming in here. It's my one stop shop for everything except for groceries. read more

Absolutely love this store!! I have been to others in the valley and this one has the best selection of women's clothing by far. All stores are always great about taking discounts even if you don't have the coupon with you which I think is great customer service. The only downside is the racks are sometimes so crammed it's difficult to look at the clothing. Oh well. I just have to allow more time to shop. read more

Kohls.com Glides into my $$$$$ (Watch Your Wallet!) Know we know why Kohl's can afford to give Kohl's cash. 08/17/15 - I place the order for a rocker glider from Kohls.com, because my g-baby is coming to visit in a few weeks. I use my Kohl's charge, along with $70 in Kohl's Cash to purchase the new rocker. They charge my credit card this same day. 08/22/15-I received new rocker, broken. Same day I call Kohls.com, their very nice rep tells me no worries, we will send you a new rocker, and pick up the broken rocker. I am now thinking this is great! 08/24/15- They pick up the broken rocker, so I am already seeing that they are doing what their rep said they would do. 09/02/15-I have not received my replacement rocker, so I call to Kohls.com. They now tell me I will have to get a credit to my charge card, and wait 30 days for $70 in Kohl's cash to come in the mail. They tell me I can now pay full price for another rocker. I ask for a supervisor, and they place me on dead air hold for 10 minutes. I hang up, thinking I can just go to the store when I have the day off to get this taken care of. 09/04/15- Go into Kohl's and counter service rep says you need to call from over there to find out about my credit. I call credit card side, they confirm the credit has not been made, as she goes to transfer me, I ask for a supervisor because I was previously on hold and never heard from one, she says this is not a problem. In the meantime store manager asks the counter rep if everything is ok, instead of asking me, you know the customer. He says yes, they are waiting for a supervisor for kohls.com. They transfer me to a CSR who repeats the same information about my credit, but now she adds I need to wait 10 days to get the credit to my card, and 30 days for the $70 in Kohl's cash to be mailed. I tell the rep, all I want is my replacement chair. I ask again to speak with a supervisor, she says ok and transfers me to voice mail. Now I have a great understanding of exactly how it is that Kohl's can offer Kohl's Cash. From 08/22/15 to 09/06/15, they charge me 25% interest on my charge card, and now want me to pay full price for a chair I had $70 dollars off of. This was a huge disappointment for me, because I had a great respect for Kohl's. And in the end all I really wanted was the chair they charged me for, and the price they charged me for it. Just a warning to potential Kohls customers regarding rebates. Dont count on them being honored. I recently purchased a product and followed directions exactly. My rebate was denied with instructions to call 888-976-8104 for help. This is an automated system with no means to get help! I also was offered a webpage www.kohlsrebates.com. There is no such site. So I called customer service multiple times with no satisfaction and in the ultimate service failure fashion was sent to an online customer service survey! Needless to say my response was not positive. I like shopping at Kohl's and am saddened at how badly this is being handled. Buyer beware! read more

I love this Kohl's location. I specifically think they have awesome clearance racks. I go here for all of my business attire and am able to get off season clothing for super cheap. And you definitely can't beat Kohl's cash! Although be aware, they no longer accept expired Kohl's cash. I usually just set a reminder in my phone to spend it, and I've had zero issues! read more

Whatever you do do not buy electronics from Kohl's. My son's aunt bought him an iWatch on 11/30/16. He needed the waterproof version. He tried to return it on 12/31/16 and they would not return it even with the receipt because it was past 30 days. That's their policy on all electronics. I am glad to see there are a lot of reviews for this store and a good rating average cause it deserves it. When Kohls first opened they seemed a little more expensive but for the last few years this is the first place I look for clothes or shoes or outterwear. Great selections, great sales, always running promotions with discounts, great clearance racks... I just always think the makeup is too expensive so I never shop that but everything else is really great. I love the staff here and the atmosphere. My wife likes to shop there. The clothes are a little creepy, but if you look hard you can find something worth buying. Therein ly's the problem. I went to the North Phoenix location looking for a watch. I not only found one but two for around $9 each. I also found some small gifts for the people I work with. The total came to around $65, which qualified me for $15 in Kohl's cash. When I got home, I found that the one watch did not work. I went back to return it and was told I could have store credit or cash. Upon receiving less that $10 in cash, I was THEN informed that I lost the $15 Kohl's cash because it fell below the $50 mark (it was $52 but tax doesn't count)...First, they have defective merchandise and then I was not told that I would lose the $15 in the first place either by taking cash instead of store credit. I was sooooo angry about all this that I went home, packed up EVERYTHING I bought and returned it all. I will never shop there again unless you train your staff better and lower your everyday prices. read more

i called looking for a specific backpack that was available online. i was on hold for approximately 8mins before anyone picked up the phone at 9a. i know weekends are busy, but at 9a? when i finally got a hold of someone, she couldn't help me with the backpack i was looking for. nor did she offer to look in the store for it. only kept telling me about more expensive backpacks instead. she then informed me that if i saw it online, i should purchase it online. after hanging up and dreading the idea of shopping online, i was shocked to find that the store does store pick up. i loathe online shoping, but was very pleased with the ease of this online shopping experience. i found what i wanted, no shipping fees, no waiting.. i mean it doesnt get better than that. the online experience saved this review from a lower rating. had i known how much easier it is to do it online, i would've started there. im just glad i found exactly what i needed. read more
