Kohl's in general always has good prices (if you know the best ways to shop Kohl's), and with a $10 off $25 coupon, I figured I would stop in and find something useful to use my extraordinary coupon on (they only send these once per year!). This Kohl's store is located in Northborough Crossing right off both Routes 9 & 20 in Northborough. There is a large, dedicated parking lot just for Kohl's in this complex, and two entrances as well. Even though it's new, it's not one of the largest locations I've been to, or one of the cleanest. Certain departments had stuff just thrown around everywhere which wasn't pleasant. Then again, for the most part, and in most departments, it was clean, organized and the price signs were well placed and accurate. Selection was a bit out of the ordinary which was a refresh from other locations of this store. They also carry Under Armour now which is also an addition to the already largely vast variety of brands Kohl's offers. Checkout was a breeze and Wan, one of the cashiers, was extremely friendly and helpful. 4 stars for the Northborough Kohl's. I would suggest this store as one of the better in the area for clothing shopping or shoes without breaking the bank. read more

When checking out I had to tell the cashier 'no' way too many times about signing up for rewards and the credit card. To the point where I had to tell her to stop asking me. Not to mention she had a mask on? If she's not feeling well she shouldn't be working. Very frustrating interaction and a reason why I keep choosing not to shop here. Havent been to a Kohls in years but stopped in to this location yesterday when visiting the new Northborough Shops... It was very busy & that is more than likely due to being newly opened & a rainy day... But they were having GREAT deals, now not having been in years and now that I have a child I never knew they had such an extensive Kids clothes/Toys Dept... I was very pleased, the prices were a little higher than say a Childrens Place or Old Navy, but still they had a large selection (and like most stores had WAY more Girls clothes than boys... Boys get the shaft on selections...) 50% off sales in Housewares & I got a great pic frame & some clothes... Had a good time & Will def be back soon!!! Besides having a good shopping experience here today, I learned some things about Kohl's in general, independent of this particular store. The store itself is fairly new, quite large, well stocked and maintained. However only 75% of their registers were manned on a busy Saturday afternoon, so there was a bit of a wait. Evidently their sale pricing schemes are sometimes confusing to some customers, as checkout was slow, and the line at customer service was long. Lesson 1: Kohl's does accept manufacturer's coupons, but you might have to jump through a hoop or two. When I presented my coupon to the cashier, I asked if Kohl's would accept it. His reply was essentially, "I don't know. I've never had one, so let's find out." It didn't scan. He immediately called his manager on his wireless headphone, and he was told as long as it was a valid coupon, it would be accepted. He wound up having to manually enter the discount. It took about 90 extra seconds, but it was a substantial coupon, so worth it. Lesson 2: If you get those sales coupons for having a charge card - the ones where you peel off a sticker for 15%, 20% or 30% discounts, read the fine print if it also indicates you can get Kohl's Cash back - the dates don't often match. read more

This Kohls is really hit or miss and is almost always a mess on the weekends. Kohls usually has really good sales - I would NEVER pay full price for something here because stuff is almost always on sale. I have interacted with a few different managers here for help on various things and they have always been polite and very helpful. The Store Manager is very nice and willing to go out of her way to help you. There was one time my niece wanted a shirt and the Manager climbed up and unpinned and took the one she wanted off a mannequin for us - that's customer service! They also will take back any of the charm beads they sell if they are defective no matter when you bought them or even if you don't have a receipt. I love when they have 30% coupons and you can use your Kohl's cash at the same time - huge savings. read more

This is a nice store. I cannot believe I have not gone there before. I came to Kohl's to drop off an Amazon package and ended shopping afterwards ! They have a nice selection of items and the entire tore is very clean. I guess one of the employees thought I was lost because I was looking around while carrying a large package and offered to help me. I got directions and they have signs everywhere is as well. Great store, well organized, friendly staff and manager and fast check in and out. I don't often shop at kohl's, I've gone a couple of times during Christmas and it was a stress free expirence. I needed sheets so I decided since it was near work I'd swing by, once I got to the register the sales woman was very pushy with the kohl's card even though I stated many times I was not interested due to the fact I did not want my credit to be hard checked. She insisted it took 5 minutes my credit would not be effected, finally I was frustrated enough i just gave in to getting one. 25 minutes later I was walking out the door with my purchases, two weeks later I checked my credit to find my credit score was lowered 14 points due to this card, which I will barley use so the fact I rarely shop here. I have never posted a yelp review before but I am so upset that I not only was pushed, but lied to about this card I will now not be going back to this location. read more

Disappointed!!! Yesterday i found a sales associate name Rakhi fighting with a pregnant lady customer. The lady was so tired and quite but the sales associate was not ready to stop!! that her manager had to tell her "Walk away" Too bad....They should train their stuff so such things never happens!! i know the sales associate name as she was yelling it loud...lol.....this could happen to my daughter... Kohl's has excellent prices and return policies. However, like most Kohl's locations, the Northborough store is understaffed, which means that the place is usually a mess during peak periods. Sad. Don't blame the store managers and/or employees -- blame the corporate pinheads in Wisconsin who base employee hours on sales, and don't realize that a messy store means less sales. Customer service is at its worst at this store especially the one or two that handles returns/online pickups-they monotonously process transactions that they forget to smile,No greeting, throw hangers in front of customers to show their frustration. I just wanted a price check on a Lauren conrad top I picked up- the sign said that it was 40% off whereas it rang up as buy one get one 50% . To my very polite enquiry Yuvonne ( when I asked her for name - she didn't utter a word but pulls her cardigan by the side so that I could see the name tag)at the counter tells me that it is what it is and asked me whether I wanted to buy it or not. Didn't offer to verify or even get help. Very nasty and rude expressions on her face in addition to shoving my merchandise into the shopping bag.Sure enough, No Happy Holidays- No Thank you.. Just walk 4 blocks down, at Michaels, it was a totally different scene. Every single one of them had smiles , was more than willing to help.
