I've had two experiences with this particular location within a 3 month time frame, neither were…read morevery good. In both cases, I rented a tuxedo for weddings. In both cases, they had me in a slim fit suit with slim pants/vest/jacket, and the shirt was not slim fit. So I looked mostly good except for the excessive cloth I had billowing out of the top of my vest. I have a pretty popular shirt size (14.5), and they couldn't get the right shirt to fit me. Again, this happened for both weddings. I actually went to Macy's and bought a shirt which I used at both weddings instead of the one that came with the tux. For MY wedding, they got all of the shirts for myself, groomsmen, and fathers incorrect. We wanted the flat front shirts, but everyone ended up getting the goofy looking pleated shirts. On the receipt on the order, it stated flat front shirts, but that's not what we got. So they don't do any reconciliation inside the store once the tuxedos arrive (multiple locations made this mistake, not just the Northboro one, so it seems like it's company-wide). The one groomsman in my wedding who also rented out of this location, also had issues with his shirt's sizing and shoes. Now, between these two events, it seems as though the entire store's staff had turned over. The previous staff was mostly inept. The manager had a lot of trouble with certain employees, and it felt like he was drowning. The new staff, is actually pretty good. The new manager was really helpful with everything, in fact she even dropped off my father-in-law's shirt because it didn't arrive in the store until the morning of the wedding. All in all, I'd say the service at this location is good, but could be better. The systems they have in place to verify the tuxedos rentals coming into the store needs to be better. And this isn't the store's fault, but whoever is supplying the rental items to the store, needs to practice reading instructions and matching what's on the order to what's going on the truck. I've rented tuxes from most of the different tux rental places at least once, and this is the only time I've ever had any issues with anything...and it happened twice with this one store. So, beware, and make sure you check absolutely everything when you pick up the tux, and try absolutely everything on. And do so as early as possible so they have time to get your order correct if it's wrong. But ultimately, everything ended up being made right (for both weddings), and everyone looked great. My 3 stars is an average of the quality of the rentals (5), and the utter disorganization at the store and distribution level (1).

I went in to Crush Nails in Shrewsbury for a Dazzle Dry pedicure as a last resort last week because…read moreall other spa appointments elsewhere were booked for the time frame I needed. I say last resort because, I had visted Crush Nails several times before when it first opened a few years ago (2022) and stopped going because of inexperienced aestheticians who filed my nails down too far; however, everyone then under the original owner was very welcoming and the spa was beautiful inside, very clean and zen like with herbal teas offered, soaps, jewelry, clothing, etc. They were attentive to making the client feel special and a bit pampered. I really liked the vibe and mindset, but not the inexperienced services (3-4) / raw skin on the tops of my toes from filing down too far. This last visit (June 30, 2025), once I walked in, I knew something was further off as the vibe has totally changed: no tea, more cluttered and disorganized throughout the salon, very few clients (1 aside from myself), a chipped/dirty nail sample board, and lack of communication between client and nail tech. When I chose the color/s I wanted for a dazzle dry pedicure, I was told they didn't have those colors... A manager who had significantly better communication skills came over and tried her best to accommodate my color selection, but the colors just weren't there. At that point, I just wanted to leave and settled for a neutral color that I didn't really like as my 1 hr. appointment had turned into 1 hr 40 minutes and the other issues. (Again, all I had for a service was a standard pedicure w/ Dazzle Dry.) I would also agree with the other reviewers that the chairs were quite uncomfortable. Finally, the nail tech did a great job on the nail prep and massage; however, the application of the polish was not acceptable. (See photos below)

I went in for a structure gel manicure earlier this week because the Luminary website listed Crush…read moreas a salon that utilizes their products. I did not see any Luminary products in the salon. My nails were in rough shape after years of acrylics, which is why I opted for a soft gel option. The tech asked if I wanted to do dip instead. Dip is acrylic. It's just applied differently. I'm not sure why she asked when I expressed that I did not want any acrylic product on my nails anymore. What really disappointed me was that none of the implements used were single use. Nor were any of the implements in any sort of disinfectant. The tech just pulled things out of her drawer to use. As a result of these items being used, I now have an infection in one of my nail beds.
