Love Kohl"s but got the worst customer service today from the manager in Manteca. Had an issue with some Kohl"s cash and he treated me poorly and did not even attempt to resolve the issue. Went to the Modesto store and couldn't of had better customer service! Still love Kohl"s but if you have an issue in the Manteca store I wish you luck. My kids' school decided to throw a semi formal dance last minute. Great ten days till xmas and I need to get a suit for my son (and shoes etc) and the works for my daughter. I went in with trepidation but besides crowded - the store was neat. And everything (i mean everything was on sale). Got my son a dress shirt and matching tie (angry birds) and suit coat with no problem. Got my daughter a candie's dress and vera wang shoes... plus a cute handbag and some earring to match. Super appreciate that even the checkout line was not more than four or five minutes. Thanks Kohls for a great experience, excellent sales, and neat store. You have earned my return business. Plus, i forgot to mention, I earned $30 dollars kohls cash to use after xmas ... yay - something for mommy! read more

The problem I have is that I ask if any sales going on after I missed the spend 50.00 get 10.00 sale by a day. Make a large purchase which included Levi's buy one get one half off. To return the next day because now there is a coupon and I find out the Levi's are now 10.00 each less and I saved 30.00 cash off receipt then got 30.00 kohls cash. A lot of running around wasting time having to check coupons back and forth. Stay more consistent with sale prices longer to keep customers happy and feeling your company is trustworthy with pricing. read more

I wanted to exchange some shirts I got online on Black Friday. Kohls has always been one of my favorite places to shop for the value. But they wouldn't let me exchange the shirts in store unless they had the exact same shirt, which they didn't, which is why I bought online. So instead I had to return and got $7 back for three shirts I paid $23 for. There goes the value!! read more

So they had A sale sign up stating the price of a suit and the suit came up a different price when they scanned it at the register. I went and talked to Michael and he made everything rite ! I very much appreciate it when they have a customer rep that helps fix a problem instead of just blow me off. Michael was a breath of fresh air on a chaotic black Friday sales event ! Lol . He talked to his higher up and they fixed the problem and I got the suit at the appropriate sales price. Thank you Michael you are truly an awesome employee and I hope they never lose you ! One of the best deals I have EVER gotten was at this store. Great selection and location. Remember to bring your coupons! I forgot to bring mine and they did not give it to me, so I had to leave and come back. I know it's my fault, but still.....it was a pain. read more

I always find great bargains on the clearance racks. I don't like that in order to make a payment on my kohls charge it's cash only.

bad customer service, did a return (1 item) at the customer service center but I was going to purchase 4 items and the lady said I needed to go pay at the cashier because the line was too long, seriously...so..I had to wait in line for a long time as well and couldn't help me..then cashier lady was trying too hard to be nice but she was too loud like if we were at the flea market or outdoors...I really like the clothes they sale though..but need improvement on customer service... read more

Wow where to start. The place is filthy and the customer service sucks. Went to pay for my items and asked to use my 35% off coupon since I got approved for a credit card. The cashier got the manager and the manager said it couldn't go towards my purchase because some items were Nike. Which is not correct because my sister got similar items a week before me and it worked for her. So what's the difference? Super pissed. So I buy the items get out to my car and look at my receipt because I have a feeling I was over charged. Well turns out I was over charged $42 because the lady scanned the hoodie twice. I understand that mistakes happen but I would of got ripped off if I didn't check. Then I walk back in to get my money back and she states that I have to go to customer service now. What a run around. Get to customer service and there's a long line. The lady that helped me was super nice and very apologetic. She was nicer then the manager on duty. The way that manager talked to me was very inappropriate and she should not be in customer service...... read more

Kohls sold me expired products, all their Keurig coffee cups are expired. They expired a month ago. No one tried to make this right. I am so frustrated with them. read more

This store has provided me with the worst shopping experience of my life and I don't say that without many, many years of shopping experiences. I made a large purchase and opened an account to get a few dollars discount. The item I purchased could not be used in the manor it was intended so I had to take it back. The fine jewelry counter people didn't mention this item could not be sized....so what the heck! When I returned the item I was refunded nearly 2 grand in 10's and 20's! Then on to find out about what happened to my credit account that I didn't want or need, having never received not one single piece of paper regarding an account someone else could be using, the people on the phone couldn't help me! I had to darken the doorway of this horrible store full of really stupid employees. I had to stand in a public place trying to make sure the credit account was canceled-having to provide the person on the phone in the store with private information. I found out they mailed my account to a wrong address-oh and I did lose money on this transaction that I will never get back. I will never shop here again and will share this story with anyone that will listen. I was treated horribly and again l lost several hundred dollars. I don't think people at the Kohls headquarters now how terribly their employees treat customers and thinking could this store go the way of Gotschocks and Mervyns...one can only hope. Love going to this kohls never crowded unless holidays very calm to take your time shopping. The cashiers are not the friendliest it is rare to get a cashier that is friendly. It is a great kohls though! They need to oragnize clothes better though everything is scattered and made me mess up my purchase by buying a youth size instead of a womens size read more
