Online order - Placed an order online for an item that was available in the store. My product would normally have been available for pick up that evening but the store was closed early for Covid-19. My order was available shortly after they opened at 11 am the next day. The email provided detailed instructions on how to pick up my item. There are 2 sandwich boards in front of the store with instructions to call the phone number on the board then press 0. Within a few minutes somebody answered the phone, verified my order and told me to pop my trunk. Within seconds an associate showed up with my order, placed it in my trunk and closed it. This place looks like it could have been a set on the movie "Twister." I hadn't been to Kohl's in months and was pleasantly surprised to learn there was one a couple miles up High Street away from all the hustle and bustle of Polaris Mall. There is a massive private parking lot and access from High Street/ 23 was very easy. Upon entering the store, the carts were orderly and there appeared to be several registers open. Once you go a bit deeper into the store, you see what a true disaster it is. None of the kiosks are in order and the racks are even worse. I walked over to a rack and noticed there were tons of clothes shoved underneath it, and they weren't even from the men's department. A store employee was opening and refolding shirts on a display which seemed to be in great shape compared to the rest of the store, yet ignored all the clothes littered on the floor. There were boxes on the floor of the shoe department with no shoes in them, and a display in a central aisle sat empty. I was actually able to find a pair of pants that fit me after a ton of digging but the little display screen with the price was turned off. I asked the closest employee and she told me to walk to the back of the store to find the device where you can scan a tag to find its price. I found the device and it also wasn't working. I hit the button for help (another customer was also trying to use it to no avail), and the 2 employees who responded stated they didn't have walkies or Bluebirds (I believe that's the term the used), so they couldn't scan items for us, so we'd have to ask someone at a register or use the price scanner. Yep, the employees noticed it was broken, but their solution was to tell us to use the broken scanner. How does that even make sense? They walked away and the other customer figured out how to reset it to get it working. Takes the term self-service to the next level. I finally was ready to check out and the woman was training another individual. She was overly pushy with trying to get me to open a Kohl's account. I politely declined and she asked 3 more times, each more insistent than the last about how much I'd save today and what a great benefit it was. I get it, she probably gets commission but shouldn't one "no" be enough? read more

I find this Kohl's location to be my go-to nowadays, because it's close to home and less busy than the Sawmill one. I love that I can do Amazon returns here for free and they actually give a $5 off coupon when you make a return. The drive up option has been great when I have no shopping to do and the employees are usually very fast. One of the drawbacks at this location though is that they have less stock than the Sawmill location from what I have experienced. read more

I visited Kohl's this past weekend to return an Amazon package. This location is great and easy to get too. There's ample parking out front. This store is surrounded by lots of other shopping too if you happen to need anything else while you're out. The Amazon return counter was easy to get to. There were signs right when you entered directing you where to go (back left corner by customer service) there was no one in line when I reached the counter. I showed the worker my return receipt to scan, gave him my item, and I was on my way. It was a very quick in and out experience. If I needed to return something again I would not hesitate to return. read more

I was looking for the High Street store near Walmart to review, but it is nowhere to be found. I tried to return an Amazon package on Saturday between Xmas and New Years. The line was almost to the door with only one poor employee handling returns. Way to go Kohl's to discourage returns except this was AMAZON! She waved me to the back of the Kohl's line. Generally however, why would anyone shop here? Epitome of made in China disposable fashion. The worst. Of course this is the Midwest where most women look like they have never looked in a mirror. This store is in a constant state of mess and by that I mean deplorable! Men's, women's & kids clothes are everywhere. Housewares and shoes left a lot to be desired as well. While looking for shoes for my husband I was constantly tripping over shoes and shoe boxes. It makes it difficult to find what you're looking for when clothes bars, shelf's and the floor are covered in clothes that have been tried on and dropped everywhere. The only department that looked halfway neat and clean was jewelry and that's because I didn't look there. I come into this Kohl's store maybe once a year because I can't stand dealing with the mess. I'll stick to the smaller and much cleaner Kohl's in Delaware! read more

This was a good Kohl's store. I went there soon after they opened this morning and the areas in the store I was shopping (shoes and women's clothes) looked like a tornado had swept through. Many of the shoes were shoved in the wrong places, the boxes were breaking down and looked like they had been stepped on, and the women's clothing section was in complete disarray, most of the t-shirts weren't even folded. It shouldn't have been a mess since very few shoppers had actually gone through. Also, the last time I went to this store two female employees who were of Indian descent (the checkout clerks) made me do the customer survey before I left the store, even taking my cell phone out of my hand and pulling up the survey for me, holding my cell phone for me and watched me answer the questions. Please get this store a new manager who spot checks the departments before opening, and who doesn't let their check out clerks badger people to complete the survey about their experience. Though this Kohls is about 5 minutes from home, I will likely be ordering on-line. read more

Do NOT use this store for merchandise pick up!!! I waited patiently in customer service line for 1 hour -yes one hour . I was then told I needed to go to the front of the store to merchandise pick up. This is now in a closet next to the door. NO One staffs this area. I asked an associate at the register and was told to just wait. After waiting 40 more minutes I called the store "drive up" pick up and was told to wait.... I think I've waited enough.I am only giving this store one star because there is no way to give them zero stars. Save yourself time, have your Cole's merchandise shipped to your home or to a more capable location. read more

Just a quick note if you buy a wallet at Kohls. They bury security tags deep inside the wallets and forget to take them out at purchase. I spend weeks setting off shop lifting detectors as I was going in and out of various stores around Columbus. read more

I hate kohl's every time I go. Why why do I ever try? It's horribly disorganized, poor inventory control. I looked on their website and it said they had shoes, get there and the shoe dept is total chaos. All the shoes are mixed together- you can't find brands, styles or sizes. I asked someone who worked there, she scanned and said there were 3 shoes in my size, but of course- no clue where they actually are. Their coupons are misleading- barely cover the popular brands, but it takes work to figure out what's in or out. Seriously hate. Would rather pay more to go ANYWHERE else! Hi read more

The customer service at this location has REALLY gone downhill. Many of the associates are extremely rude, including several of the cashiers and customer service desk staff. There is one cashier in particular that I refuse to go through her line, and choose to wait for someone else if I happen to be up next when she finishes with a customer. Yesterday, my fiancé was in line to purchase about $100 worth of clothes and shoes. He handed a coupon to he cashier, and didn't realize he was one day early for the coupon. The customer behind him told him that she wasn't going to use her $10 off coupon, and offered it to him. The cashier heard the woman offer her coupon to him, and snapped at them both, saying that they do not "allow" customers to use coupons that are not their own. So rather than my fiancé spending $90, he left everything there and we went to Meijer and found everything we needed. Also, the coupon he was going to use was 30% off, so he would have actually spent more if he used the $10 off coupon the rude associate wouldn't "allow" him to use. If he and the other customer stepped outside together for her to give him the coupon, the associate would have had no right to tell him he can't use his coupon. We both have Kohl's charge cards and spend A LOT of money here- we've spent over $500 in the last 30 days preparing for our wedding, wedding party gifts, etc. We had even planned on registering for our wedding at Kohl's. That will change moving forward. We will not be registering with Kohl's, and we have decided to pay off our cards and close them both. I will be returning everything I've purchased over the pa month. With JC Penny's, Meijer, and an entire mall of stores available nearby, there is no reason to continue shopping at a store where you are treated with such disrespect- we work too hard for our money to spend it where we're not wanted. I wish he would have gotten the associate's name who snapped at him and the other customer, and treated them both with such disrespect. read more

Excellent service. I was in several months ago to pick up a few things, I had been given a $100 gift card as a house warming gift which I then lost. I had the purchase receipt for it but that was all, it had been purchased at a giant eagle. It was a Sunday so Giant Eagle was no help as their offices were closed. A manager named Megan at Kohls came to my aid she made multiple phone calls and spent about an hour trying to fix my dilemma. She was amazing and super friendly! She wouldn't let me leave without getting me my $100 and she did just that. I was so grateful for all her help. I love that store and always find great deals but that day was by far my best experience at Kohls. Great staff and great selection for a great price! read more

Not happy with returns/exchanges despite their advertising of Hassle Free. My dad bought me two sweaters online for Christmas. One was too big and the other (no offense Dad) I didn't like. My sister had thrown away the packing slip when she was helping him wrap, but he emailed me 2 confirmations of purchase, one of which had a barcode with the word receipt underneath. He paid $24.99 for each sweater but the lady only let me get merchandise credit for what they currently were selling for. She wouldn't even look at the emails! So my dad spent money that Kohls gets to keep. I couldn't even exchange for a different size because they didn't have it stocked in store! How wrong and rude. Value: They always mark their stuff up to excessive prices and then stick a sale sign on each item. When you check out they'll tell you that you saved $XX that day. You'll feel like a super savvy shopper - which obviously you are - because you're buying from Kohl's (that was sarcasm, btw). A month ago I received a birthday card. I was hoping for some cold, hard cash, but I got a $25 giftcard to this dump and a $25 card to Panara (nice gestures, I must admit, but screw Kohl's). I was driving to the gym for a workout tonight when I saw some friends walking to the bars. They invited me to join them, and I told them I was going to lift some big weight at the gym. I was wearing my workout attire and didn't want to smell like sweat, so thankfully I found the giftcard to Kohl's in my armrest. After going Beast Mode in the gym I decided I'd waste the giftcard on non-sweaty crap at Kohl's so I could be somewhat presentable to my buddies. I ended up getting some generic jeans (originally "$40" now 50% off) and a Kohl's brand shirt on "80% off clearance" for 10ish bucks. At checkout they said I saved around $50ish. Not sure I believe this: I bought a nearly useless v-neck (only because it wasn't sweaty like my gym shirt) and a pair of jeans I could've got just as "stylishly" at Wal-Mart for $15. Staff: Great staff. I assume - and pray - they're unfortonately trained to tell you to say you saved big bucks by buying there. The cashier offered me a credit card (screw that, I'd rather get one from a drug dealer). She then asked me for my ZIP code. I asked why and she said she had to for marketing purposes. I gave her a fake one (lol) and then asked her what her ZIP code was. Her: Excuse me? Me: What's your's? Her: I don't feel comfortable disclosing that: Me: Same here. That's why I lied to you about mine. She huffed and laid my purchase on the counter. Upon paying I picked my items up to leave. While walking away she yelled "SIR!" and I looked back. "I need to put your items in a bag." "Thanks, ma'am, but I don't need one." "I'm required to put your items in a bag," she said. "Okay, that's weird, but whatever." I said. She then bagged my items as the intercom boasted about how Kohl's is in support of environmental friendliness. As soon as I got out of that place I changed into the crap I just bought and hoped no girls at the bar would think I was a Kohl's regluar. WOW....I am in total shock at the way I was treated by the Customer Service Staff is all I can say at the moment! I just returned home from Kohl's at the Powell, Ohio location after waiting 15 minutes in line (I was the 3rd person in line) to pick up my on-line order. There were 2 ladies working at the time....an older lady and a blonde haired lady. When it was my time to come up to the Customer Service Desk the blonde haired lady decided that it was time for her to take a break and sat down on a stool and was looking at her cell phone. There are now 7 people behind me in line at this time. I told the older lady that I was here to pick up my on-line order and she replied "Oh great!". I asked if that was a problem and she replied "yea it is". I had my email for her to scan already ready along with my drivers license and I even let them know I was coming on my phone app so they could have my order ready when I arrived which it wasn't. The older lady got very frustrated and the blonde lady finally decided to help out when another customer had an on-line order to pick up as well. The blonde lady when into the back to retrieve my package and basically threw it at me when she returned. She said "here". She never said thank you or anything so I thanked her and told her to have a good day. I have NEVER EVER been treated in the manner in which I was treated today!!!! These 2 individuals were EXTREMELY RUDE and DISRESPECTFUL. I am even a kohl's VIP customer. I just want to let the Kohl's management know that we as customer have a CHOICE as to where we decide to shop and we are NOT OBLIGATED in any way to shop at Kohl's. There are other stores around Lewis Center and the Polaris Mall that I can spend my money. With the Christmas season approaching I am seriously thinking about shopping elsewhere. read more
