He did not even bother to speak to me, as I sat there sorting through a huge pile of boots that I had picked out. He just continued making lame jokes with those two girls. "You know what those boots are???! No, they're not pink, they're 'paaank'." Well, another guy finally showed up. He was a very polite, young, skinny guy who was working the register. He asked me if I needed any help. I told him I'm a professional Dancer, and that I was looking for the most comfortable Dance Boots, to dance in all day. He immediately said, "Here, try these Zero-Gravity, lightweight Boots by Shyanne." I tried them on, and I couldn't believe how light and comfortable they were!! I gladly bought the boots. I would give that young man 5 start. He brought up my rating. A couple of days later I called and asked if they had any fringed pants. They offered to put some on hold for me. When I went to the Store, I couldn't find anybody there, not even at the register. After looking around for a while, someone came in the door, and went behind the counter to work. I asked him about the pants. He brought them to me, and they were made for a giant!! ‍ I am only 5'2"". If you have never been to a Hamrick's, the main feature is economy pricing on clothing. They have a large ladies department, with a fairly good sized men's department as well. There are also departments for home decor, kitchen, and "as seen on tv" gadgets. I found a few things, such as men's undershirts that were at a good discount. Check out employees were prompt, polite, and professional. Another nice feature is a seating area for tired shoppers (or husbands that got dragged into the store!)

Having a family of big and tall people it is difficult to find clothing that fits. I am happy to have found this place but that soon turned to despair. Though I appreciate the effort to carry sizes in every possible clothing option for men this store is quite suffocating, and I am sure it is in violation of safety codes or hazards. You can barely move through the racks due to them literally touching each other in many different configurations. The racks themselves are so packed it makes it difficult to pull an item from the rack. Pants and sweat bottoms are stacked ridiculously high and falling over. I was so overwhelmed by the enormity of clothing, I was unable to finish my shopping. The reason for 2 stars is the prices were very good comparatively, they have a large varying selection. If you need Big & Tall sizes in work, play, dress they probably have it. Good luck finding it!
