I am never disappointed inside this store. It is in the shopping area on University in Georgetown, Texas. It is always clean and the employees are always friendly. Today I went to return an Amazon order, which is quite convenient, and received a 25% off coupon that must be used the same day. Boy, I got good use of that coupon! I bought gifts galore and got such a wonderful bargain. Most of the items were on sale and then got 25% off! They have name brand items and they have some less expensive things. It's very easy place to shop no matter what your budget. I highly recommend you visit! read more

During my visit, I was repeatedly ignored by floor associates, despite employees actively assisting other customers standing directly beside me. I was never acknowledged or offered help. This selective engagement was noticeable and deeply concerning, and it raised serious questions about unequal treatment in the store. Compounding this issue, a prior transaction was never clearly explained, which resulted in me losing $23.33 in Kohl's Cash. When I contacted Kohl's corporate customer service for clarification and resolution, the experience was equally unsatisfactory. The representative did not attempt to review or look up the transaction and instead offered vague assumptions with no accountability, explanation, or effort to resolve the issue. As a customer, I expect consistent, fair, and professional treatment--both in-store and through corporate support channels. Unfortunately, this experience reflected a breakdown in customer service standards and a lack of ownership at multiple levels. This review is about Amazon Returns...not the desk staff but some Kohl's supervisor, Georgetown, TX . Online it states that Amazon returns closes at 9pm. I arrived right at 7 pm and the nice young man was just putting out the sign that stated closed. I said "oh you're closed" and he said it's ok I'll go ahead and scan your item. I said thank you. At that point a supervisor walked up and said he's closed , you need to leave. She embarrassed him and I politely took my item and left. I've never experienced such poor customer service and condescending attitude. I felt bad for that poor guy she was griping out in front of the customer. That sweet 17 or 18 year old young man had more customer service than she could ever hope to have. read more

So we went shopping a few days ago and we bought a pair of blue jeans shorts for about $23 and we had a coupon from an email from Kohl's that was 20% but the guy with blonde hair said that he wouldn't take it because he said it was only for Under Armor and more but why not the jeans?? My mom was mad about that. It should've been about $4.68 and that guy will not take and I don't know it takes it with the coupon but our coupon expired today. This review is NOT based on the staff (unless I was lied to), but rather a horrific customer service policy. I wanted to purchase a new watch band today and asked the sales associate to install it for me. She told me that unless I purchased the watch from Kohls, they were forbidden from touching the watch. Dear Kohls, you are in a customer service driven market. This simple policy has told me that you aren't willing to perform a fairly standard task to make a customer satisfied. Your Georgetown, TX store is in the same center as Target and within two minutes of a Wal-Mart. Care to guess which of those retailers will get my business from now on. read more

The slogan, "Expect Great Things," always makes me laugh a little. There is very little that is GREAT at Kohl's. I went tonight with my nephew to get him a winter scarf and they were completely sold out of all scarves. In January. Not a scarf in the store. Really? My experience has always been positive at the Georgetown location. The cashier's are friendly and I've never had any problems making a return. The only thing that has been inconvenient is the magnetic tags not being removed on two separate occasions. It was easily resolved both times, no questions asked. I'm careful to make sure the cashier removes the magnetic tags. Not a big deal, I continue to shop here. read more

The shoe department is the smallest, and worst, of any Kohl's I've been to. The size selection is abysmal. The style selection is pretty atrocious, too. That aside, I find the rest of the store totally average or even very slightly above the average Kohl's. This store, like the entire chain, seems to have gone way downhill in recent years. The deep bargains are gone, I'm tired of the crazy sale price schemes on every single item, and I dislike being harassed by the cashiers about Kohl's credit cards (telling them 'no' once should be enough!). So I typically only find myself here when I'm desperate. And if I'm desperate for shoes I'm outta luck! read more

I placed an online order that was to be shipped to my house. Went to store instead. No one ever notified me it was there, so I started tracking it myself. Called the store in Georgetown and talked to a very rude young women in Customer Pick up. Surprise, she couldn't find my order. Talked to manager and she assured me it was there. So I went to pick it up this morning and SURPRISE again. They can't find it. When I assured the woman behind the counter it was there and I would come find it myself, SURPRISE again. She found it. I was at Kohl's Georgetown last week I wanted to beat the black Firday rush, I went in with some coupons hoping to save some cash on my christmas bill as well but went I went to check out I was told by a rude manager I had to buy some dumb fragrance sets and use my charge card in order to use more then one coupons at a time, so I was turned down thanks for runing my christmas budget Kohl's! and on top of that the manager, Jessica if I remember makes a scene with the cashier too and chews her out over the coupons I tried to use. thanks for nothing I had to put stuff back cause of this and so much of this I feel is the main conpany's falut too for having so many dumb rules and having bad management that encourages this bad and flat out rude behavior, I feel sorry for the workers there too that have to put up with this mess as well, Kohl's you failed and ruined my christmas budget! read more

Worst store i ever shopped at! Horribly rude managers especially K.J and Terri at the Georgetown Texas location. Customer service was just as bad making me feel unwelcomed, unwanted and as if it were my fault trying to get a refund on some shoes that were obvious used returns from the scent and the scuff marks on the outer sole. Theses women are on a power trip and they don't hide it either. What is Kohl's? A bank? The way they push their store card is bordering on harrassment. NO IS NO!!I I don't blame the cashiers because i know for a fact they are told to push new credit lines on customers by management and if they don't get new store card accounts open they loose hours and days as punishment on their schedual. Over a year ago, I stopped in the Kohl's Dept store to look for a watch. They had one that I liked - cost around $70 - BUT- "if I opened an account, I could get it for $50!". Opened the account and paid the bill when it arrived. That has been OVER A YEAR - CLOSER TO 2 YEARS - and I continue to be billed 'late' fees (almost as much as the cost of the watch) after closing the account! Now getting calls!!! Went to this store last week. At the checkout the cashier asked if I wanted to apply for a Kohl's card. I stay away from store cards, the interest is too high and is very limited in benefits outside of Kohl's. I knew I was going to be asked at the counter as I saw a manager Terry, tell a cashier to ask/push the Kohl's card and/or open a new account and to get customers to pay with one. Also saw another (manager)? Jess or Jessica being very rude and lazy to her job,employees, and I wouldn't be surprised if she was like this to her customers too. In the line I was in there were many people. That is because there was only one line available at that time and although the cashier tried to summon help, no one from the back came and helped so I was forced to wait a long time. I recommend NO ONE get a Kohl's card as I am sure the company only wants one for the service charges and interest rates. I am also sure that the store managers get bonuses aka kickbacks for getting a certain quota a day/week/month. The cashiers and low end employees are great and do their best, but the management needs to improve, STOP pushing store cards, get attitude adjustments and treat their employees and customers better. If this is the way Kohl's is run I need to get 7 on your side or some news agency to look into this bad company policy. I am sure it would make an informative and eye opening piece for this season.
