This is probably the 3rd time I've bought an appliance there that's been broken in the box. Check the box very carefully to see if it's been retaped. I don't shop there often (I get a gift certificate every Christmas, otherwise I would never go) but it must be a chore for them to return damages. This Walpole location would benefit from more staff at the check out. Or have the 2 staff working move a bit faster. I waited in line today (I was #6) and it took 24 minutes to get to the cashier. The dressing room is full of clothes that need to be put away, and worst of all, it actually smelled in there! And the store itself is so overcrowded with product that it's difficult to get around. I went to Kohl's to pick up an online order. I waited in line for at least 15 mins because they don't have a separate line for returns and pick ups . This was at the Walpole, MA store and at this time they three registers open. While at the store I started to brows and found three additional items to buy. I returned to the line and at this time they only had one register open and I waited 45 mins to check out. Not only did I wait 45 mins, the lady at the register rang one item twice and when I brought it to her attention she sighed annoyed...no apology nothing! This location is very impressive! Seems a lot easier to maneuver the different departments! Sales Associates are very helpful Purchased several items and used my 30% discount at check out and was happy with the amount but the Cashier Corrine knows her discounts and specials snd mentioned that I get an additional $10 off for spending $50 which I looked on my email snd found it! Kohls, Walpole has gone considerably downhill. Products are way to expensive to allow for coupons as compared to Amazon. Now Walpole makes everyone stand in the same line, returns, purchases and payments. A little unfair. After my visit to Walpole Kohls yesterday and speaking with the customer "service" person upfront I probably will never come back. She just was ready to not help me. I don't know why I've never gone upfront before and asked for anything right down to. I asked you to please get the manager and she said they're going to tell you the same thing as me and no manager ever cameupfront. Needless to say I did chat with an online agent who took care of my issue and also while trying to get through to an online agent using the ChatGPT it does tell you that Kohl's will accept your cash 10 days after expiration. The person at the front desk refused to help me in anyway, and my calls cash had only expired six days prior, she was so rude and so ready to help if I go back to it certainly won't be this one. Just a bunch of middle aged old ladies giving attitude. Young blonde girl with curly hair helped me. She was the only nice one or the only one who didn't seem to mind doing her job. Checkout was the worst, Maria at the register wouldn't stop pushing a kohls card on me. No means no Maria, she should have stopped after the first no. Does this East Walpole, MA Kohl's always have their associates follow their shoppers around and wait close by while they shop? Because that makes for a very uncomfortable experience. We were followed by an associate around the store while we shopped tonight and it ruined our shopping experience. We initially thought she just happened to stock inventory near us but quickly realized that she followed us to a few different sections around the store with no purpose other than to be around us and never even asked if we needed help with anything. We have never experienced this at any other Kohl's we've shopped at. This associate was a bit older with blonde hair. She may have been the manager on shift tonight. We left the store feeling very uneasy and felt that the incident was racially motivated as we are Asians while the other guests who were left alone to shop were white. It is not a good feeling to feel discriminated against. read more

Great selection of clothes marked down! Located right on Route 1, this location is inside the Walpole Mall...or what's left of it! Besides the leaky ceiling near the check out area, this is a decent location. The cashier opened up a lane so I got out quickly. My BFF gave me a gift card for my bday so I ended up getting a nice sweater and earrings for under $40.00. Kohls has good quality clothing. The fragrance area was messy though. read more

I thought this was a really great store with great selections, which it is, unfortunately there's a story behind the Kohls dollars they shovel out to the customers. So if let's say I purchase $130 worth of sneakers on my card, pay the balance off with my debit card(full price so far), then use the$20 kohl's dollars for a different purchase weeks later. If I return the initial purchase void of any Kohl's dollars I spent, they deduct $10 in Kohls cash. Congratulations, they just now stole $10 from me!! I went in today to have a watch battery replaced. A simple task that turned into a 3-ring circus. First of all, only one employee was working in the jewelry department and the gentleman beside me said he had already been waiting 10 minutes for assistance. One supervisor came by thinking a second employee was helping out and went off in search of who knows what. Then another supervisor came by at the same time as perhaps the missing employee. The supervisor helped the gentleman and the second employee ignored my existence and helped other people who had just shown up. After stating I was waiting for a battery to be replaced they started quizzing me, and I mean they because in total, four women asked me the same question. Did you buy the watch at Kohl's? I don't know, which is the truth. I can't remember where everything I've ever bought comes from. I told them I didn't know but why does it matter, they've changed multiple batteries for me before. They all said the same thing, that they can only change batteries on watches bought at Kohl's because if anything happens to it, they can replace it. After going nowhere quickly, I decided to take that as a warning that Kohl's employees aren't properly trained on removing the back of a watch, taking out the battery, putting in a fresh battery, and securing the back piece into place. I do go to Kohls with my discounts. I know that the have to make money... BUT........ Bought some sheets that were 40% off.. so excited... until..... I looked at the pricing label and noticed a faint printing under the sticker so, I started to peel the sticker off.... the original MSRP was $119.00... the Kohls sticker was $179.00... then the 40% off... get where I'm going with this... be careful. I havent found it on clothes but I'm sure they do that too. On my next trip, I asked an associate I see often when I go, (you know the one associate that see you everytime you go in, so it turns into a little "yup, me again" kind of joke (LOL)) and so I asked her and her reply was.. I know I hear it from so many people all the time. So, be careful, a deal, may not always be a deal at Kohl's. read more

This is like most Kohl's...overwhelming & disorganized as all hell, but you get what you pay for...even if they jack up the "original prices" to make you think you are getting a deal. Came here to return an item but had to re-purchase said item...& pay $7 more. Why can't they be as good as other Kohl's. The Walpole location is NOT awesome anymore..... just ok. This location is almost always crowded, and only has one entrance. If I remember correctly, Mansfield and Milford stores BOTH have 2 entrances, which effect in better parking, 2 sets of registers, and less lines. And this location runs out of specialty items FAST and usually only has the bare minimums. The layout of the store is very odd due to the shape of the store (a large rectangle, the opposite of the rest of the Kohl's locations), which inhibits it to preview which main aisles lead to which sections. I never know where to go in this store even though it's the closest Kohl's location to my house because I visit it so infrequently and continually forget how different the layout is. Variety is sort of all over the place. Whenever I think of this specific store, all I can envision is stuff all over the place. Very infrequently is anything organized and due to the high volume of traffic in this store the checkout lines and even the returns line are egregious. Overall, go to the Milford store on Route 109, you will be pleased. They have TONS of clearance (10 watch racks when I went!), and have recently been renovated, much nicer and cleaner than this one. 3 stars. read more

Although the store looked like it was well stocked and most of the employees were kind and helpful, Arlene, the manager, seemed to bring down morale of both her employees and the customers. We went in for a simple return and would have been fine had she kindly explained why our $70 gift would only warrant a $25 store credit back. Her employees seemed like they had been enduring her tantrums as we witnessed her snapping at each of them in turn, before turning to us to snap again that she would get to us when she could. (We had been asked to speak to her and at no point ask her to hurry what she was going to assist us.) However, she made us feel as if we had done unspeakable crimes for not asking for a gift receipt from my boyfriend's parents when we had gotten the gift. I hope every employee who works for her finds happiness outside of their job. When we do get the receipt and make our returns, it will be at a different location. read more

I shop here a few times a month. I tend to do more online shopping. I went into the dressing room today (the one that's in the center of the store). Working in retail believe me I understand what the associate did but it's TOTALLY wrong! She began speaking very loudly stating "all you women in here, put the cloths back on the hanger the way you found it! Put the cloths BACK ON THE HANGERS THE WAY YOU GOT IT OFF THE RACK!" Again, I understand the frustration of customers leaving things in total disarray but this is VERY inappropriate behavior. i think cashier should check the bag or ask if i had receipt when you try to even exchange the item. the lady didn't if look in the bag for the receipt for the item or if ask. i told her there was receipt in the bag and she said O ok. and didn't if void out the item and keep going for even exchange. she didn't if give me slip after the even exchange until i took it from her print area. then she rang up the rest of my items. I only go here because i wanted to find if i can find my size to even exchange the item. This is not good customer service. Some of they carts are really dirty They are not that friendly. read more

She asked a clerk for some help in finding where these items might be and check pricing, got good information from a friendly clerk. I shop at the Walpole Kohl's ALL THE TIME and I have never ever had a bad experience. Never. I've never seen a dirty dressing room, the restrooms are spotless, the staff bends over backwards to help if you look 'lost' or unable to decide on something. I read the reviews below and I was just shocked at how different your 'take' is from mine. I find value in one aisle after the other and when they clearance something, it's an amazing reduction. As far as the woman who wrote in a bad review because the cashier didn't check her bag for a receipt, that was a little too much for me. I think retail people are often treated like chattel (along with restaurant staffers) and this is just wrong all the way around. I am 100% sure that if the dust-bunny lady brought this issue to the store manager's attention he would have immediately removed them and apologized. I use their dressing rooms all the time and in countless years never saw such a thing--but that doesn't mean it didn't happen so don't get all yelpy on me. I don't think the "jack up" their prices to slap a sales sign on merchandise, either. If you don't like real value and great things, there's always Marshall's and the like. At Kohl's you have a wonderful selection to choose from--at the other discounters it's like going to a table hungry and being fed others' pick-overs for the fourth time. Kohl's is the company I keep, so what if there's an occasional unfolded turtle neck on a shelf? Barcode problems are inherent in the retail industry; not just Kohl's. A SMART consumer watches at the check-out; I certainly do. Recently some loser consumer took a Euphoria box and removed the cologne and REPLACED IT with an empty bottle of baby phat; the atomizer top didn't fit in the box so they tore the top of the bottle off to get the box to reclose. They then used a small piece of shiny cellophane tape to close it up--and they returned it to Kohl's for whatever reason. The box was pristine--this was CLEARLY someone with misguided creativity. I BOUGHT THE COLOGNE and three days later I went to wear some and voila! Screwed by a loser! I called Calvin Klein in NYC thinking it was a manufacturing screw up. Nope. CK informed me this is a loser shoplifter trick. I then called Kohl's and spoke with "Erin" at the Walpole Kohl's. SHE WENT ABOVE AND BEYOND to apologize for something that wasn't even a Kohl's mistake. I returned it HANDING THE CLERK MY RECEIPT and I was provided a replacement AND an apology. I think if Kohl's Walpole isn't meeting your standards you're probably a Neiman Marcus type because the Kohl's I shop is first-rate. I'm sorry the store didn't meet so many of your needs, I just can't imagine how this could be. It's a great store! read more

Due to the Equifax breach I was forced to cancel my Kohl's credit card. Unlike every other credit card company I have dealt with, Kohl's is the only company that forces you to reapply for a new card. I am (was) a customer since 2004. I have tried several times to straighten out the problem, have spoken to numerous customer service people, including Kohl's corporate office. They said "it takes time" to process a new application. It's been 2 weeks and no solution. All I get is an excuse or get transferred to a different department to no avail. I am done with Kohl's. There are many other stores that have better products and service. read more

I can't say enough wonderful things about the Customer Service department at Kohl's Walpole. I visited there yesterday morning, and was just about done with my shopping, when unfortunately I had an altercation with another shopper which started by accident. It escalated very quickly on the other person's part, and got very ugly, to the point where the police had to be notified. Customer Service personnel including Brenda, were absolutely excellent in handling the whole situation, intervening right away to calm down the situation. The employees stayed with me until the situation was resolved, and the store manager even offered an additional discount on my purchase for the inconvenience (even though it wasn't the store's fault). I very much appreciated the way all the employees handled the situation, their professionalism and calmness. I have been a regular customer at Kohl's for quite a while now, and will continue to do so. read more

You will absolutely love this one, purchased some socks 6 pair for 20 dollars at this store, got home looked on package and it said 6 for 18, yet barcode said six for twenty called store Manager (Kathy)said no problem bring them back tomorrow and we will return them. I also asked to have her remove the rest of the socks from the shelf so no oine else gets overcharged. She said no problem. The next day I got my money back and out of curiosity went over to the rack and a man was leaving and he had put all the socks on the rack and what kohls did was cut out the 18 dollars on the package and still charged 20 dollars. I spoke with Candace from customer service and she said call corporate that she received no direction from them I was told to call corporate yet given an 800 number. Customer services response was we will get back to you within 7 days which I found unacceptable; I attempted to call corporate again and told my story once again and the supervisor was in disbeleif as she said Kohls has higher standards.
