I'm not a frequent shopper here but when I do have to purchase something here I do enjoy that I almost never have to purchase an item at full price. I prefer to shop during the holidays when the sales are active almost all the time. Every year I come here to buy a knit sweater so that I can make an ugly Christmas sweater from scratch. I know that I can always find it here at both great quality and a great price. I also enjoy purchasing items online since it is easier to compare prices from Kohls online to other competitors. Kohls is almost the winner when it comes to price comparisons on some brands. It's also a plus that this location is nearby a free way exit for easy access. read more

Wow I have never been treated so rudely in any store. The customer service lady was very condescending and rude. I was trying to do an online pick up purchase while in the store ( I like to shop in store and do that to receive an extra discount). The cashier/ customer service lady proceeded to speak to me as if I was a child or did not understand and actually used hand gestures. All I was trying to do was make a payment and then submit my online purchase! I am so annoyed I chose to do the online purchase and go 20 min out of my way to Chino. I've shopped Kohls for years and have never heard of anyone being treated like a child or so rude! I will never go back to that particular store. Just want to let folks as Amazon customers know that this is a terrible Kohl location for returning stuffs to Amazon. I lost several shipments that I dropped off at this location. Went to the store and was told by the lady in charge of Amazon returns that this is not her problem and that I would have to contact Amazon. Called Amazon and they said they don't see the returns in the system and they can't refund unless the goods show up...guess I'm screwed! And for those of you may ask this question: yes, I do have the Returns Confirmation slips from Kohl with tracking number but they don't mean anything and Kohl has nothing to do with it. It's hard to imagine a company like Amazon would put their reputation in the hands of a partner that aren't customer-service oriented. Please choose a drop off at UPS or somewhere else instead of this Kohl store on Hidden Valley (Store # 0593). You'll be thanking yourself later! This store is so unorganized and messy it is actually a hazard to walk through. They want a central checkout line; I learned this when they opened when I was asked to get in it (at the end of the line) because I thought you just got in line at the checkstand. It isn't marked, so on some days you can have individual lines, some days they make you go to a central line. Today, this caused a bad confrontation between some people. Forget trying to get an associate to help you, they are too busy chatting for that. Much of the merchandise if not on the floor, is not marked, mixed all together with different products, just overall messy and chaotic. I have never seen more than 2 checkers there, and you can imagine the wait on a Saturday during school clothes shopping. Average checkout time on a good day is 30 plus minutes, forget about it on weekends, utterly ridiculous. If they had the employees actually work, they may get this store cleaned up, but all they do is talk and disappear. I for one am done. There is a nice, clean, organized Target across the street, and we always have Amazon. Kohl's needs management training in a serious way. I don't need to pay any store for miserable shopping conditions, and downright unsafe walking conditions. I will happily spend my money elsewhere. read more

I find this particular Kohls store to be very inconsistant with how they do business. Example: I have always been able to purchase items from the kiosk, print the receipt, show the cashier person and receive my kohls cash as long as the purchase was on the same day, same store, and all totaling up to what is required to earn the Kohls cash. This one particular day all of a sudden the cashier person told me he was not allowed to do such a transaction. He seemed to be Christmas help, I get it. But when he turned to another cashier she smurked at me, because I did not get my way. I did get management involved and she straight face lied to me and said they have never, ever allowed such a transaction. I told her that I had just did this type of transaction last week and do it all the time. What upset me the most was her body language and the other cashiers smurky face. I left pretty heated and did contact Corporate. I called the manager on the phone when I calmed down, she then did give me a reasonable explanation as to why they could not do that transaction that day. It being Christmas time sometimes things are out of stock and not notified until hours later. I understand that, but why all the prior drama and act like the sole owner of the store. I also have had issues with customer service on returns. But that is another lengthy story. But once again it is the nasty attitude that was involved here. read more

the reason I am only choosing 1 star is because the online service. I had a coupon an it was last day to use, so I had never tried ordering online, so I tried it. OMG, horrible website service. first of all, my order kept sending me back to the store on Tyler, when I kept choosing Norco for pick up. Also, the screen kept freezing. I tried this 3 times, logging in and out, wasted 20 minutes of my life. I purchased a pair of $12 junior pants online for my niece. However, the jeans had the sensor tag on the pant. I went to North Corona Kohl's to have it removed and I was treated like a criminal. The customer service representative called security and I showed him my proof of purchase (receipt) and he said it is fine. The rep stated, " that is it" to security as if she wanted him to arrest me. I complained to the manager in charge and she verified my pant SKU with the receipt and said it matched. The customer service representative wasn't trained correctly on online purchases and in store returns. I still can't get over how I was treated like a criminal. I strongly believe she was racist and judged me from the beginning. I will no longer shop at this store. read more

She listened carefully to everything I was looking for in a lip color, we tested nearly 15 lipsticks, and she helped me find a beautiful color that I will actually keep! I used to love coming to this store but the last few years has started to disappoint me. I do like the Kohl's cash, the rewards program they have and that they keep everything clean. I don't like the checkout process. There is no centralized line for customers to wait in and I have seen on more than one occasion people argue and make a scene. I also don't like the fact that the managers and employees announcing over the PA system regarding Kohl's accounts goals they have opened and how many they have left. That's annoying! Having worked in retail before, I understand the need to communicate with fellow workers but can't this be done using walkie-talkies? It would definitely be more of a peaceful shopping experience for us customers. read more

Went in here about 10 minutes ago, completely outraged. My boyfriend and I walked in to buy him some work boots. I asked the lady up front if she could direct me to the restroom, she automatically looked at me disgusted. But she pointed it out. I went to the bathroom, he went to the shoe section. Well they didn't have work boots according to a lady he talked to. We walked out of the store looking at some stuff, but didn't buy anything since that wasn't the main reason we were there. Right before we walked out, before we even hit the sensors, they went off. She tried to call security on us but screw that, we aren't going through that bullshit because we felt targeted immediately so we literally shook off all our stuff and took out our pockets cuz we just wanna fucking go home and order our boots online. I just moved to this area, and best believe I will not come back here. I'm white myself along with my boyfriend, but he does look Hispanic. So maybe that lady is racist or whatever but I'd rather not feel harassed when walking into a store by my home. Completely 100% pissed. Never again will I go to that store read more

Kohl's itself is good - clothes, shoes, small home appliances, etc. However, they need to fix their Kohl's Credit website, though. It is terrible, and outdated...a bit cumbersome, too. Was not pleased with them today. About a month ago, I set up an automatic payment to go through. Found out today that their automatic payment system does not work, and will make your account past due. Not happy! read more

I have no concerns with a specific store. Rather, my concern is focused on the online ordering and questionable customer service practices with regard to the customer service staff. I ordered a few articles of clothing online (what I wanted was not available in the store). I received an email from Kohl's (it looked legit, but you never can trust what you receive nowadays) indicating they could not process my order, that my card had not been charged and to call if I have questions. My credit card had in fact been charged. When I called, the gentleman asked what type of card I used because they had to "verify" my order. I told them they should have that information. He then asked for my card number. Right, like I'm going to give that to someone over the phone. I ended the call and will take this up with the store manager when I visit the store tomorrow. I have had issues in the past with online ordering and find their website difficult to use and store stock to be minimal. Tomorrow I will be closing my credit card account. read more

The evening of the 26th I went onto Kohls to do a return. I was the 2nd one in line. There were 2 clerks and a lady at the counter arguing about her return with one of the clerks and the other was helping another customer. Kohls has this new policy that Amazon and online pickups take priority over anyone else standing in line, even a separate line has been set up for this. After about 20 minutes, the clerk helping the disgruntled customer left, and I was now the only one in line, and walking up to the counter for my transaction. I was halfway there and stopped because a pick-up customer appeared in line behind me. I was asked to get back in line and wait because it is their policy to serve them first. As I waited, 3 more pickup customers got in line and I had to wait further. With being the 2nd customer in line I was in line for at least 30-40 minutes and not surprisingly frustrated. When I got up to the counter, there was zero greeting and zero apologies for the wait. The clerk refunded my order, handed me my receipt and didn't even say thank you. I grabbed my receipt, said "you're welcome", and left. With the policy already being frustrating, the lack of customer service made me never want to shop in there again. read more

CUSTOMER SERVICE IS TERRIBLE. I saw an associate walk by and I was literally 3 feet away from her. I said excuse me, I figured she didn't hear me. So I said excuse me again. Still she continued to walk. She stopped and started talking to another associate so I waited and said excuse me again. She turned and looked at me and rolled her eyes as if I were an inconvenience and just stared at me. Didn't say one word. So I proceeded to ask if someone could help me in undergarment and again she rolled her eyes and said she will send someone over to help in a condescending tone. Her Body language and attitude screamed she clearly hates people and helping. So another associate came to the rescue so I thought. Her knowledge of the undergarment section was extremely poor and said I can go to the kiosk and order whatever I wanted in my size. And walked away. Didn't even tell me where the kiosk was or anything. It seems that the associates have no sense of urgency to help the consumer. Unfriendly personalities. I had planned on purchasing a few household items also and opening a kohls credit card because i hear of all the deals. Instead, I walked out and will never purchase anything from this company.
