This is a friendly and approachable place for coffee or a light brunch. It's a little small and seating is tight inside, but there is also outdoor seating which is well covered and thus shielded from weather. The staff are very nice. It is a great place to go if you want to support an independent shop but don't want to deal with the coffee snobbery that plagues some independent places. The baked goods (carrot cake and breakfast cookie) I tried were really good! I loved the big pieces of walnuts in the carrot cake. The breakfast cookie was also dense and satiating, loaded up with seeds and nuts. The avocado toast was good but I really would have liked more of the beet hummus. Very good peach iced tea. I haven't been since last spring when I was working downtown. I never published this review because I really meant to go back and try more things to write a more thorough review, but I just never got around to it. read more

Koffie is a nice coffee shop that's tucked down an exterior hallway. Food was pretty standard. The orange juice was fresh but the portion was a little larger than a shot glass, which was disappointing. The iced mocha unfortunately lacked flavor as well. Not sure they have the milk/espresso/chocolate proportions right. The potatoes were good as they had an oregano flavor, and the beets were nicely pickled. read more

I just had a regular drip coffee and found it to be more bitter than I prefer. Avocado toast was tasty, the sourdough bread it came on was fabulous. A relatively small portion for the price but probably on par with places nearby. It is pretty small - around six small tables. It is quite busy with a pretty steady stream of regular clientele. The staff are friendly and the service is good. If you're looking for independent coffee in this area this is probably your best bet, enjoy! read more

Cute little cafe. I would say it's closer to 3.5 stars. My flat white was not bad, but it didn't have the usual creamy, velvety texture of well frothed milk. I got a regular butter croissant too, and instantly regretted it when I saw it. It looked a little pale and undercooked. However, it actually taste much better than it looked. Airy, light texture inside and a bit of a crunch on top. Could've done with a bit more colour on the exterior, and more butter - but I would get it again. Never knew there was a coffee place here, despite their bright orange theme. Parking here sucks. Don't bother looking. The place has a bit of a "trendy but hipster" feel to it. Something about feeling good while fighting the System. The coffee appears to be freshly ground, which means your coffee will take a bit longer than normal. I had a hot chocolate, which was pretty decent, though a bit on the sweet side. Overall, a decent place if you're sick of Starbucks. read more

The place is not big, and can be easily missed if you dont know what you are looking for, but once inside you will be pleased you have found it. I visited Vancouver in November of last year, and this place was near where I was staying. After trying it one morning, I made it a point to their pourover coffee every morning thereafter. I'm not exaggerating when it was the best pourover I've had in a long time (at the time, they were serving Valley Clouds and Mellow Carmelo from House of Funk) and I regret not asking what their secret was. Also, shout-out to the cafe manager for recommending House of Funk, too, after I asked where I could get some of the beans they were brewing -- they didn't have those to sell, but they did have Modus which was another great cup they were serving. read more

I normally don't order iced lattes when I go out for coffee but decided to switch up my "usual" ya kno. I'm kind of lactose intolerant so I opted for soy milk which was 75 cents more! I personally HATE it when milk substitutes cost extra (especially when it's costco soy milk) but a mildly lactose intolerant gal does what she gotta do. Anyway the coffee itself was watery for my liking and the espresso shot was diluted with soy milk. Incorrect ratio of coffee to soy! It was a try a New Coffee Place kind of day. The staff were friendly and helpful. They use 49th Parallel coffee beans and the latte tasted fantastic, I did not have to even add a flavored syrup. There was no line up when I came in around 9 am. They also have breakfast and lunch options too. I would come back for lunch next time. Came here with my bf on a Friday afternoon. Cafe wasn't busy which was good. Decor was very rustic but I liked it. I really liked their huge paper size menu at the front and their huge chalkboard at the back of the cafe. My bf had an iced mocha with soy milk which was very tasty while I had a drip coffee. I didn't realize that they make their own cold brew because I would of gotten it instead of their drip coffee since their coffee beans came from 49th parallel which I tried before :[ I was tempted to try their carrot cake because I saw pictures of them on yelp and lots of people were ordering them but I ended up getting their rhubarb coffee cake. I love coffee cake and I never seen it paired with a fruit before. I was glad that I got it because it was sooo good! It wasn't too sweet because of the rhubarb, and it was so moist and crumbly. My bf also really enjoyed it because he ate it so fast and he wanted to order another one LOL Overall, we wouldn't mind coming back here. So happy I stumbled on this place. It was just a short 5 minute walk from Trump Tower, where I stayed the night before. Coffee and sandwiches both amazing and high quality. The inside reminds me of a mix of Purebread and a 49th parallel. Staff very friendly. The music selection even brought it's A game here.
