Contacting Rob Brancaccio was recommended by the inspection company. I immediately received a quote for the work to be done as well as a detailed outline of what exactly was being done (and why). Rob was prompt in replying to ALL of my email inquiries, even after a month or so of closing madness and delays. When I was ready for the work to be done, I emailed Rob and they had their team out to my place at the end of that same week. This leads me to the guys that were said to show up at 10am. Mike and Sean arrived promptly at 10am, abided by all COVID restrictions (masked up and kept their distance), and got right to work. Mike took the time to explain everything to me and answer any questions I had about the original condition of the chimney and utilities. Sean was up on the roof carefully cleaning and prepping while Mike was down in the utilities area cleaning up (vacuuming old debris behind boiler) before prepping for their work. Both seemed to work well together and had a great attitude through the job. The entire process was probably just over an hour. Both men finished cleaning up before requesting my attention. Social distanced, Mike came back to the house with paperwork for me to sign and pay. He explained everything they did once more, explained the warranties, permits and what to expect when I fire up my furnace for the first time. I am very happy with EVERYONE I worked with during this process. The price was on par (slightly better/competitive) with other estimates, service was top notch and everyone was friendly. A+++!!! Additional Note: 4/14/2021 Lately, I've had some leakage in the roof/chimney area following heavy rains in the same location as chimney service last year. I called and emailed pictures to Rob and he had a crew come out. The crew did a quick review and re-sealed what they could. Issue persisted. Today Rob sent out Pablo, who was a genuinely nice man and knowledgeable about his trade. There were several attempts to correct the problem, but it seemed to be unrelated to the chimney itself. Pablo spoke to me with respect and explained every thing he did and possible fixes. He me with some quotes and tips for my own knowledge of home-ownership. I could not recommend these guys enough!!

Caulfield doesn't give a sh*t about new clients, are abrasive to women (AND I still haven't gotten a reply to my email) and are seriously unprofessional. (Calls to other companies for pricing and availability were surprisingly hit and miss. They needed to come back and finish on a 2nd day as a result of their stringent quality of work (after locating the reference "monuments" in the area, the coordinates needed to be reprogrammed back at the office, otherwise results could have been off by a few inches, which would have been unacceptable). It was an enormous amount of work, especially as I have a bad back, and am no longer young. When Spring came around this year again, I had to dethatch my lawn again because so much thatch had been left unraked by the company to begin with. I also had to reseed, to try to get the lawn all one color. We specifically told the company that we needed to have our lawn looking great, so that we might have the option of putting the house on the market within a couple of years. This company was highly recommended, so we are very put out and disappointed. We paid a lot of money for the work, & I ended up having to redo everything myself by hand. I am including pictures of the patchwork looking colors of the lawn, as well as the wheelbarrows full of thatch that I raked and hauled back into my woods. Our journey started with Trex Fencing because we wanted an environment-friendly alternative to the hardwood fencing most of our neighbors had. We fell in love with Trex because in our small backyard alone there are 100,000 fewer plastic bags in the ocean potentially choking turtles. We love the look of the alternating depths of the slats so we don't feel like we are sitting inside a box. And the no maintenance aspect is a dream for us. It will likely outlive us without us ever having to sand or paint! Tyler was wonderful at answering all my questions, including "Who can we get in New York City to install it?" Enter Olympic Fence. I loved them from the first phone call with Vicky. She was so efficient at getting the information they needed. She didn't know the answer to a question I asked and said "I'll call you back". Within a half hour, she did! (Unexpectedly prompt service in NYC!) Olympic's estimator, Carl, was on time, efficient, pleasant and witty. Their proposal was more reasonable in turn-around time, price and estimated time to completion than the two other quotes I got. The workers showed up when they said they would, they worked around all our backyard furniture, and they finished in a miraculous 1 day! (The other quotes were 2-4 WEEKS!) They did make a mistake that caused my neighbor some concern, but they came back two days later to fix it (they would have been back the very next day except it poured rain all day). That's what I call excellent service: do what you say you are going to do, do it on time, do it well, and if the inevitable mistake occurs, take responsibility and fix it ASAP. As I said, we could be happier.
