I always get friendly service and a fair price from Steve and his team at Koebbe Auto Tech.

I was disappointed with my recent experience at this Goodyear location. I brought my vehicle in…read morebecause of a nail in my tire. Before removing the nail, the technician did not come to me to explain what they found or ask for my approval. I would have appreciated being shown the nail and having the repair options explained before any work was done. After the service, I asked where the nail was because I wanted proof of what had been removed from my tire. I was told they didn't have it and there was nothing they could show me. That left me feeling frustrated because I had no way to verify what had been found or removed. I also felt like the focus quickly shifted to recommending that I replace all four tires. While I understand that AWD vehicles sometimes require replacing multiple tires depending on tread depth differences, I felt pressured instead of being given a clear explanation with measurements and options. I would have appreciated seeing the tread depth readings and understanding why they believed all four tires needed replacement. As a Deaf customer, I expect to be treated with the same honesty, respect, and clear communication as any other customer. Please don't talk down to Deaf customers or try to smooth things over instead of providing straightforward information. Clear explanations, transparency, and respect go a long way. I also believe one of the employees would benefit from additional training in customer service, communication, and disability awareness. Because of this experience, I decided to take my business to a local family-owned tire shop instead. They explained everything clearly, showed me what they found, answered my questions, and did an excellent job. That experience reminded me how important honest communication and customer service really are.

A friend at church fortunately had one of those portable inflation doodads, and filled the tire so I was able to head straight to Goodyear. Adam, the service manager, greeted me very cheerfully and I explained my situation, including that I couldn't just leave the car and come back due to the distance. He put me very much at ease (as you can imagine I was pretty frazzled), got my info right away and summoned a technician to take my car to the work area. I was able to relax in air conditioned comfort and even got a free cup of coffee while waiting. Before long, it was announced that the culprit was a leaking valve, which they promptly fixed. It was $25. They also checked/filled the other tires. A couple of people came in to pick up their cars while I was waiting and several phone calls came in. I noticed the high level of customer care that Adam showed to everyone he was dealing with, including me. I have a feeling this is a very high quality operation for purchase of tires as well and they also do other types of auto work. Recommended.

I'm not a 5star reviewer without ridiculous cause above and beyond, but 4 stars in my book is damn…read moregood! TD has been quite good to me. I have 5 cars, and have all tires and most brakes handled there, occasionally suspension items. Not to say there haven't been issues, but more importantly, how the issues were handled. Chris has gone out of his way to help me in a couple of situations, and it's truly appreciated, hence I chose to take the time to write a review. They aren't the cheapest, but they do deliver value (think policy alignment!!). I've chosen to develop a relationship with TireDiscounters, and I think it's going well. I am satisfied with what I get for what I pay. I wish their employee retention was better, but with mgt and staff changing, I do get to meet new people. Their prices have been on the rise, which doesn't make me generally happy, but at the same I don't believe it's more than anywhere else. -Ron Happy Customer for 15+ years.
