I ordered the CPP and I was not disappointed, the peas, carrots and chicken were cooked to perfection, all served at a perfect temperature. My sister pointed out that not only does Connie cook the entrees but the baked goods as well. I finished off my lunch with perked coffee and a ginger cookie, both were awesome. This was my first visit to CCH but not my last!

We had a nice chat about the store (I asked a lot of questions) and about the area. My favourite part is the little cubbies they have for locals to keep their mugs in. The coffee selection is what you'd expect, a few fancy drinks, lots of teas and local drip coffee. I went for the drip coffee, black. It was perfect. There is a clothing/retail side to the store that's worth a look, loads of cool stuff like bike tire belts and fun shirts. If you happen to be in the area it's a must visit for sure! I will be back many times.

The breakfast panini looked good but O had the other half my kid couldn't finish and I liked how crisp the bun was and the maple bacon was good but something about the eggs reminded me of the eggs from the Ikea breakfast which imo is not good. Next time I'll just do coffee & carrot cake ( it did look good!) While the food we just had was okay, i would say the space is more like being in someone's house. The older woman came to hand over my soup and interjects saying that she heard oat milk and that's it and walks away. I did not order with her. She did not even address me. She only addressed the guy. I was in shock at the level of disregard this person had at a repeat customer who took time out of their schedule to come to their establishment. I was not even going to complain, only correct them, and overlook the $1 extra charge. Wondering what would have happened if I was allergic? These types of people should not be in the food service industry when it come to safe guarding customers and ensuring quality control.

Finally tried this place after seeing it a number of times whenever I was in the complex. Also got a blueberry scone which was very buttery and delicious! I also love that they give you your drink order in real mugs/cups if you're dining in. The ambiance was your typical coffee shop -- quiet with soft lofi music playing in the background. There were high and low tables, some with comfy/soft chairs, while others had the bar style chairs. The tables each had the wifi password so for those staying a while and needing internet while working, you don't have to ask the baristas for the wifi password. The only reason why I gave 4 stars is I wish they would've provided more baked goods or food options. They had one sandwich option when I came in before 11am, a bagel option, and just a handful of different pastries. The shelves looked half empty so I'm assuming there's normally more options? Still good to try if you're wanting good coffee in the area.

I always sprinkle generous amounts of chocolate on top (not cocoa-yech). They give you this tiny coke spoon and you'll use it on that billowing mound. Don't know why so many Eq. have closed. This one remains tucked away in a cozy location on Crescent road. Catch it before or after the beach. Especially cozy inside on a rainy day.
