Well don't let the name fool you because here it is! I know the brand Terrible from Vegas where they have tons of gas stations and convenience stores. Most of them are pretty old, and not all of them allow you to use their bathroom. We were on our way back from Vegas and recognized the name so we decided to stop for your travel break. It also helped that they have "CLEAN BATHROOMS" on the back of their building that you can see from the highway if you're heading west. Seriously though, this is best rest stop in Lenwood. Loved the fun phrases on the bathroom walls, the fact that they have a cherry ICCE, which is my favorite flavor, and a great selection of snacks along with tiny grocery section. The hot food I could find was limited to "things that roll on a heater" and nacho's. There was case at the main counter that was empty so I don't know what's normally there. It was a Tuesday evening though and very slow so they might have more when it's busy. In a rare instance, I actually needed windshield cleaner, but they don't have any auto supplies which places like Love's usually has. Not a big deal, which required me to visit another, not as clean, store.

I brought my friends here on a Sunday early evening and it was their first time stopping here. It wasn't overly crowded and had just enough people to not feel cramped inside. This spot is right next to Popeyes as well, and the McDonalds area inside has plenty of tables to seat at. The McDonalds area used to be just a rustic old train feel so seeing it refreshed and with families and kids using it makes the 'station' feel more lively. There's some on-the-go souvenirs that tourists can buy if they happen to need something from one of the many vendors. The Thrifty's ice cream was pretty yummy, although we found it to be on the pricier side for just a scoop so beware! Upon entering, you can smell the strong scents of Subway. Only thing to look out for is that when we went back to our cars, we looked over and saw what looked to be a homeless person exiting out of the metal container on the corner of the parking lot. We got worried seeing the guy walking out towards an oblivious lady packing her babies in the car with her driver door left wide open. Please be cautious everyone!!! Luckily, some staff from the train station was heading over to throw away trash and the guy just minded his business.

This will be the start of an upcoming huge review string that I will be leaving. Normally we fly to California, but we drove this trip for one particular reason - my LTP got a new car in November and he wanted to take it out on a road trip. Well, it's new to him, but much newer and better than his old car. This car was used at my future in-laws' beach house up in Lincoln City, OR, but after realizing that they don't drive it all that much (they drive up there from Vegas in their pickup truck anyway because they bring their two dogs with them), they decided to give it to him. I think the last time I was here was when my mom and I were on a road trip to Solvang to attend her friend's anniversary party back in 2017, and it really hasn't changed one bit. It was a Wednesday afternoon so it wasn't packed at all. This is always a great place to sit down and take a break before hitting the road again (it takes about two hours to get here from where we live). We stopped at Subway, and I actually received a $20 Subway gift card recently from my choir as a thank you for participating in a solo part, which I didn't even think about bringing with me. Both of us got something that wasn't too big, but big enough to eat before continuing our trip, as we didn't have plans to make more stops before reaching our hotel. Their restrooms are a little outdated, however. Both toilets and sinks are manual and not automatic. The flush valves on the toilets are so short that I had to bend over as someone standing at 5'5", not to mention it was a little tight exiting the stall I was in. And they don't have mirrors above the sinks for some odd reason? This is a thing I never understood. This will continue to be my main stop anytime I drive to California. I've been here many times in the past and I'll definitely be back again.

When I went inside the store, I felt the warmth of the staff. They are all polite and friendly, that includes the shoppers as well. I bought some snacks for the family for our 2 nights stay in LV (for the Bruno Mars Concert) The healthy snacks I bought almost got finished and we aren't even in our hotel room yet. The snacks I bought were all delicious and fresh. Anyway, on our way back to SD we stopped over again. I bought big packs of Macadamia nuts, cashew nuts, dried Kiwi, dried pineapple. I got addicted eating the nuts and the dried fruits; as of today, 'think there is only one serving left. I tried to check their website to check if I can order online, but it seems I can't. I was joking to my son if he can drive me there to get my favorite snacks (he laughed.) How I wish they can offer an online service. For those who are heading to Vegas, stop by to this place. I am recommending this place, it's a place where you can relax, and feel amazingly comfortable.

Biggest gas station in California, you find that there's plenty of people that take a rest stop here before continuing on the road. Inside has plenty of vendors including ice cream, coffee, and a whole selection of candy, snacks, etc. There's also plenty of souvenirs that you can purchase for memories. Restrooms are clean and plentiful in stalls. Love that inside is very spacious and outside is spacious as well. They're not 24/7, so plan accordingly, 6:00 AM - 12:00 AM (Next day). Another draw to EddieWorld is a supercharger station next to the gas station, competitive charging rates at $0.43/kWh and 18 accessible superchargers. Highly recommend this spot to take a rest stop during any road trips.
