I don't do reviews because it is usually not my thing but I had to say something about this company and its drivers and my experience with them. First off just like most people who unfortunately have to be towed, it was THE WORST TIME and my biggest fear being stuck in the hot desert coming back from Vegas. And sure enough my fear came true and we desperately needed help. Not only did ARC towing save the day but they were so personable with us. They were understanding with our dilemma and treated us like friends and not a dollar sign. The owner and myself talked for awhile as our driver was loading up our car and I felt taken care of and treated like someone you've known for awhile. They towed our vehicle from their shop in Barstow all the way to Murrieta CA and didn't charge the arm and the leg that anyone else quoted us for. The driver Jeffrey was so friendly and personable that we talked the entire time about so many different topics and it really helped keep our minds away from the situation we were stuck in. From the dispatcher, to the owner, to Jeffrey, I cannot thank you enough for getting us out of the situation we were in and I never thought in a million years that you could find such great customer service in the middle of nowhere. Our car broke down near Barstow today. So we looked online and found ARC towing out here in Barstow. I'll just keep it simple. When we called ARC, the person that answered, she was very polite and very friendly. Right away that was a good sign. She told us that it would be about 2 hours before the drivers show up for they were attending another call. Fortunately, they arrived early to get us. I have to say, the 2 dudes, an older gentleman and his sidekick, the kid, (I can't remember their names) but they were very nice, polite and very professional. Another good sign! They took extra care of our car as they pulled it on and locked it on the bed of the tow truck. They took their time securing the car ensuring it doesn't fall off. The drive back to Vegas was as safe as I ever wanted it to be. They offered us that if we needed to go to the restrooms, he would make a stop at the rest stops along the way. Again, very nice people. The older gentleman, he made the ride back home enjoyable. He was telling stories of his "old Vegas" days. (I think he knew the mafia back in the day but won't talk about it, lol) But I have to say, I am glad I called ARC Towing, it was worth it. Thank you ARC TOWING! read more

My husband received this text at 9:37 which clearly states you are coming but no one ever showed up. I would also add that at no time was there a comment made about ethnicity. Smoke screening the real issue will not help. I'm sorry to inform you but this is simply not true however I definitely advised him that I felt he was under the influence of something. His speech was undoubtedly slurred and I could hardly understand what he was saying. I would also note that we made several calls to the number provided in the text, all of which went unanswered until I left a message stating I was filing a formal complaint after 11:39 pm. I'm not proud that I cussed as this is not my normal character but after waiting several hours, I was extremely concerned for my husband and upset at the lack of concern your company showed. I definitely used a four letter word when I told him the delay was f&$@ing unacceptable and demanded an explanation as to why we got the text stating ARC was 30 - 60 minutes out at 9:30 if as he told me at 11:39, he was waiting on payment, WHY SEND THE TEXT! I'm sorry but doing so was misleading and completely unfair to the waiting consumer. No! Your company may very well be reliable 99% of the time but not this case. Also a complaint was filed with USAA who advised me ARC Towing collected $500 plus for a tow they never dispatched to?? Not acceptable! read more

ARC Towing really came through during a difficult situation for me. When I called, an actual person answered and she was professional, polite, and helpful. She listened to my situation, which was not just a simple broken down vehicle, and worked up a quote. We were stranded on the side of the road miles away from anything, and we needed a flatbed to pick up a boat on a trailer which had lost a wheel, and we were about 170 miles from where we were trying to get to. So the quote was definitely pricey, but we called several other places and found that ARC was providing the best price. In addition, they were the most helpful and pleasant to work with. Once we called them back and asked them to come get us (we spent hours in frustration trying to get our insurance company's roadside assistance program to help us, which was a total nightmare) ARC dispatched a driver immediately and arrived at our location as promised. In addition, they were considerate in giving us updates about ETA and responding to all my calls and text messages. I'm sure I was a bit annoying since we were in a very uncomfortable situation and had become frustrated with the insurance company. In the end, we convinced the insurance company to call ARC and to work with them. Which, by the way, saved the insurance company a lot of money over the awful vendor they were trying to send out to us. When the driver, Timothy, arrived at our location, he was well prepared, super kind to us, and he went right to work. He was totally amazing. Getting that one-wheeled trailer with a boat on it up onto the flatbed was like nothing I'd ever seen before. He worked every angle methodically to load it carefully and without causing more damage to the trailer. I could hardly believe how skillful he was. Then he drove all the way to our destination, 170 miles away, by this time in the middle of the night, and arrived only about 30 minutes behind us. He proceeded to unload the boat and trailer with the same care and precision into a really tight spot in my driveway with not a single complaint about the situation, what I was asking for, or anything else. He was even extra careful to make sure that my driveway didn't get scuffed. I can't say enough good things about ARC Towing. They helped us out of a really tough situation and showed that they were a company made up of caring people. read more

They were a bit pricey but we were in a bind since it was getting late and most places would be closed for the night and possibly the weekend. We had blown our second tire and I was worried about cost and repair. Francisco was helpful, knowledgable and towed me in to Barstow for a reasonable price and brought me and my church family to an honest repair shop, Bartsows Auto Repait on 100 West Main St. We we out of there in less than two hours, four new tires and a repaired radiator hose. We were towing a 40' fifth wheel and our truck decided to completely die. Not only did this company tow our truck, they arranged for our RV to be towed to a near by trailer park. On Superbowl Sunday no less. Then when it was determined our truck was beyond repair, they towed our truck and trailer home to Las Vegas. Without gouging us like our insurance company wanted to do.
