I came here for the first time just because we needed to take a break. We have a dog in our car. That's only one year-old and she's a little bit out of control. They actually had a dog park with grass and the bigger dog park with gravel. There's picnic tables so we were able to eat our lunch and let our dog run around for a while. I wish we knew this was here because we would have stopped here every time with our past dog. I went to use the restroom and there was a lot of things to purchase a lot of fun stuff and things people need. The restrooms are pretty clean zero complaints! read more

We were our way home from lake Havasu, after 2-1/2hrs on the road we needed a break. Loves Travel was a welcome site. The dog was first, we headed over to their large fenced dog park. Bentley was very happy. Love's Travel centers are very impressive super clean staffed by friendly employees. Great selection of hots foods and just about any kind of quality merchandise you might need, comparable to a department store. Love's Bathrooms were large and clean. The gas and fuel prices are competitive and lower than most. There's also a Carls Junior restaurant attached with plenty of seating. The truckers have a large area for all their needs too. Quality/Quantity - Cappuccino - My daughter reminded me I chose the wrong drink. I wanted and needed something a little stronger. Should have gotten the espresso. Plenty of choices, see pictures. Good convenience store with a lot of ready-to-go snack options, probably not the healthiest. The place is also very well labeled, so if you were in a hurry, it is easy to find what you need. I used to love their "$6 burgers" until they raised the price. Open 7 days a week, 24 hours. Overnight parking available - Think truck drivers. Other options at this location - Showers, wifi, ATM (in case you lost all your $$ in LV), tire services, oil change, propane (RVers), dog park, laundry, etc. Service - 6 stars for the full time bathroom attendant! I have NEVER seen someone work so hard and take so much pride in their cleaning. I mean DETAIL cleaning! You can probably eat in there, not that I would. This bathroom is cleaner than some of the restaurants I have frequented. He also greeted most people that entered the bathroom, without missing a beat on his cleaning. I should have gotten his name. The cashier was okay also. Price - $2, inexpensive. Gas prices are a little expensive, but then again, there is very little competition here. We travel a lot with our travel trailer in the western states and we always stop at loves for a break, gas, and sometimes some yummy food. One of the main reasons we stopped there is how RV is always welcome, they always have parking and this is priceless to us if we're tired and half an hour nap in our camper before getting back on the road. As the Boron rest area was closed (thanks, Caltrans), I stopped here and was able to park easily. It's a truck stop so the entrances are wide and there's plenty of space for even the largest vehicles. Inside, clean restrooms. There's a "green/yellow/red" button to press and report the current conditions. It was definitely green today. Snacks, drinks, roller meat and unlimited free toppings. Easy! First food stop on our way from AZ to The Bay. This stop filled the bill with food from the Carl's Jr, had tons of gas pumps, large and clean bathrooms. I also saw they had a nice and clean doggie relief area. Ok, so the drink fountain at Carl's wasn't working, but we were directed to the Loves side which had a working fountain... good pit stop spot! read more

We always stop here on the way back from Vegas for a snack and rest room break. I noticed a sign outside promoting smokehouse menu items in the hot snack isle near the front of the store. I chose the Pork Burnt ends & baked beans bowl. It didn't look too appealing but I wanted to try it anyway because I am BBQ fanatic. Well I was pleasantly surprised how good it was. I have to make note this location of Love's truck stop because the rest areas on hwy58, Bakersfield/Mojave/Barstow Hwy we're closed! Very happy Love's was in the area so that I could stop, stretch my legs, get some food at the Carls Jr, get some water and other snacks at the travel shop, get some gas, and of course use the restroom. There are other gas stations along this highway but not many with lots of parking spaces to accommodate cars and a separate area for 18wheel trucks. When I'm traveling this highway, I'll stop here because everything is reliably open 24/7/365 ! read more

This review was during the Covid-19 pandemic. We stopped for fuel and to stretch so I walked around the store. Loves has a large fueling area and RV parking so you can go in the store or the Carl's Jr. that is inside the Travel Center. The store is clean and staff is nice. Everything was clean, Carls Jr drive thru, RV parking, plenty of vehicle and semi gasoline pumps, well stocked and it is easily accessible off Highway 58. The people working were also friendly and provided excellent customer service. They have a great coffee set up too. When I need gas I try to stop at one of these on the 5. Prices are usually good, they have a ton of options for snacks. Last time I needed a replacement for a phone holder and found one that was pretty cheap, I also bought some oil that was not overpriced. The restrooms were clean. This Love's is fantastic as is their usual standard. I'm a driver and stay here 1-3 times each week. The facility is always clean and the staff is always terrific. Britney, a somewhat new employee, is amazing. Always friendly & professional, she exemplifies the personality Love's Truck Stops are known for. The showers are the cleanest in the industry. If you have a rv or pulling a trailer good luck in getting a spot. People here in cars are effing aholes. But the store itself is great. This location needs to put in rv specific pumps. Oh wait that's not something any Loves have at least not the ones I've seen on the west coast. read more

I always stop here for gas while going back and forth Palmdale and Las Vegas. It's always clean outside with fresh soap and water for windows. The bathrooms are always very clean as well. Great job! read more

When you are traveling and in a hurry or not-it's nice to get a friendly smile and laugh-Sam was working the evening shift and had such a great attitude and smile-I was still a long way from my destination and it was already late, it was nice to have a laugh-management material if he helps his coworkers and customers enjoy their day and safely get to their destination. Horrible horrible experience! I stopped to get gas and the pump hadn't reset so I was charged for 36 gallons of gas for my vehicle that has a 16 gallon tank! The manager was a jerk and couldn't do anything about it! Corporate took a week and a half to investigate and denied my claim! So, in short, I probably paid $153 for the employees to get gas!!! read more

Came here super late at night. Filled up my gas and water in my trailer (which was free) I also was able to fill my propane tanks! I went inside and the staff was more than happy to help me and were so nice! Such an awesome experience. Also, the bathrooms were SPOTLESS. Cleanest bathrooms I have ever seen.
