These guys are simply the BEST!! They don't just prune our trees...they manicure them. They look so good when they are done I just want to hug them all. (The crew, not the trees:) They put a huge tarp over our pool and even cleaned it out of anything that dropped in. They take great care to clean up after the job and I couldn't be happier with their service. All my neighbors want them to trim their trees, too! It is funny to watch the cars drive by when they are here to write down their phone number so they can get Koala's help with their trees. Warning, NO CALL, NO SHOW! Will completely blow you off. We had Leo come to quote the trimming of our 4 oak trees. The day came and he let us know that their equipment wasn't working and had to reschedule. No problem! The SECOND scheduled appointment came around, we had both taken off work to be home, told the 4 involved neighbors to prepare for the tree trimming and THEY DIDNT SHOW UP!!! Did not return calls, texts and voicemail was full!!! Very disappointed in this company, the owner, and the service that was not provided. By the way, we then look up his license with the state license board it shows "suspended". I would recommend calling anyone else!! read more

I contacted them to have some work done at my mom's place. Granted, it was a small job but they said they'd do it the next day. Got a text the next day that they would be delayed because of an emergency with a tree that fell and could they delay until the afternoon? I said that was no problem. Never showed up, did not respond to my text message asking if they would be coming out, and did not respond to a voice message I left. I would not ever call them again for any size job. read more

Horrible experience with Koala tree service brothers ! We agreed on a price, the day finally came, the person who we dealt with fell off a horse and was unable to make it .. when the partner showed up it turned out to be the brother who we ended up talking too. He wanted to charge more. We tried explain to him, we had already agreed on a deal. Koala Tree Service is unprofessionally, and they are dishonest!! I do not recommend at all!!! read more

After using Koala for my home I hired them to take care of approx 50 trees at my church. The job included mostly large mature trees and removal and stump grinding of several other large trees. If you're looking for a company with prompt, professional service that understands the meaning of customer service...looks elsewhere. Koala apparently doesn't have time for your business. I made an appointment to have them come out on a Tuesday to give me a quote on trimming an orange tree. We agreed for them to do the work the next day, Wednesday, @2pm as they'd be busy later in the week. Well, the time rolled around and nobody showed up. I called them at 2:30 and left a message to see if they were coming, then again at 5pm asking again. I didn't call again until around 1pm on Friday, again leaving a message. The next Tuesday, a week after they'd come to my house for the initial visit, I finally get ahold of someone, presumedly the boss. He seemed rushed and told me he'd talk to his guys, said he'd been out of town but would get back in touch with me once he spoke with them. Never heard back from him. Left them two more messages since that last call, and now I'm leaving this review. So disappointed - I can only assume someone with a more lucrative project came along and took my spot, or this company lost my info and decided not to return my calls to somehow cover their tracks. If you're looking for a professional company that puts the smaller projects they agree to do on par with their bigger clients, look elsewhere. Extremely disappointed by their unprofessionalism, and in myself for giving them so many chances to make things right. :( read more

Wow this tree service is amazing. I had( 3)palm trees that were 20+ years old super tall super in need of being cut down plus a mulberry tree to be trimmed. Would never recommend this company again. Koala Tree Service did some work for us about two years ago and they did a good job. Since then I have recommended them to a few people. The last person had to wait for them after setting the appointment for the work to be done. Not until two phone calls during her lunch hour did they get back to her. I also made an appointment for an estimate last week for some tree removal and again a no show/no call. My daughter made an appointment on the same day and they did show up for her and agreed to come on Saturday and do the work at 0830. Again no show / no call. Made contact about 0930 and they stated truck problems but will be ther about 1200. Waited until about 1:15 and also a no show / no call. Now they are not answering the phone but we left message to cancel since they obviously don't care about customer service. I guess they have too many jobs to do and don't care if they lose yours. I will never use or recommend this company again. Their customer service is nonexistent. A simple phone call to say, Hey unable to make it for whatever the excuse is would have been nice. That way I don't waste my time waiting on them to no- show. read more
