We liked it. We stopped here on a Sunday evening after a concert nearby. We had reservations and were seated right away. The place was fairly busy with a few open tables. The restrooms are upstairs there are steps and there is an elevator plus more seating upstairs. It was pretty noisy downstairs and a bit quieter upstairs. Menus were placed as we were seated. Our server came by quickly. We asked for waters, a Hot Tea and an order of Salad Rolls with Shrimp. Before our Salad Rolls came, we placed outer dinner order. The two of us shared the following: - Hot Tea - Salad Roll with Shrimp - Pad Thai - Pad See Ew We both enjoyed our meals. I would have liked a bit more noodle in my Pad See Ew. Both dishes were large enough to have leftovers. So we'll enjoy those tomorrow. We'd return to Ko Thai.
Ambiance is really great. Staff seems pretty to themselves for the most part. Drinks and appetizers are 10/10. My only complaint would be consistency, every time I come the food tastes a bit different. I usually get the Mae Moon and the (I believe called tiger) Steak, and it's seasoned differently each time. I would still recommend for the ambiance but it can be a bit pricey and inconsistent on the flavor.
I ordered to go. The curry puffs are outstanding. Legit to die for! The Tom Kha flavor is exceptional but thinner than Thai Select's. I prefer a thicker soup but would order the Kho Thai tin ha hai again if I went thete again to get the curry puffs! The Pad See Ew is better than most DFW Thai and Lao Thai restraints, as it is tasty and flavorful, but it was only sweet. The pad see ew lacks the dark soy depth, richness, caramelization, and umami I'm looking for. I would not order the pad see ew again.
Amazing drinks, food, and service! I only got a pic of my drink because we dove into the food immediately. Pictured is the Bluebonnet Spritz, very refreshing. My husband loved his spicy margarita. He said it was actually spicy, unlike others he has had at previous restaurants. We also enjoyed the gyoza, salad rolls with salmon, the steak, and a side of noodles. Everything came out fresh and steaming hot! Our server was attentive and even gave us extra sauce to take with our leftovers.
This place is such a great find. The ambiance is well done. High end feel with the right specks of flair. The glassware and cutlery were wonderfully chosen and the chairs were comfy. The food!! So very very tasty. The smoked salmon was perfect and the sauce had just the right amount of spice. The rice soup was a nice surprise as apparently it comes complementary with the lunch special. It was almost like a porridge but had some type of chicken "cracklins" on top. Great flavor and texture combo. The Saigon chicken was the perfect portion size for lunch and the chicken was incredibly flavorful. I Sat outside and enjoyed this beautiful fall day and very much enjoyed my experience here.
My friends and I visited for a late lunch after hearing great things. The place is cute with a nice vibe, but the experience fell short. The service didn't feel welcoming, the food was bland with some overcooked noodles, and the drinks were only half-filled and overpriced. Overall, it's a charming spot, but not worth the price based on our experience.
The infrastructure of this place was very nice, was excited to try it. I always try to order a staple when trying a place for the first time so ordered a pad Thai and lychee lover drink. My drink was very good but was served halfway through the coupe, though the coupe was on the larger side it felt odd like someone had drank half of it.. The pad thai was extremely bland, literally no flavor and overly sweet 0/10. My friend ordered the drunken noodles and those were a lot more flavorful and overall much much better!
I have ordered takeout from Ko a couple of times now, and both experiences have been positive. The order is ready upon pickup time, the food is packaged well, and the food tastes delicious. The staff has always been friendly and greets me as soon as I walk in, which I very much appreciate. I have had their tom kha soup, egg rolls, and their curry puffs. The tom kha soup is hands down the best I've had in years. The egg rolls were delicious, and the curry puffs are a must order. The interior is always very clean, and the aesthetics are great for a date night. I am looking forward to dining in one day soon to enjoy this beautiful restaurant with some friends.
Wow! Five stars isn't given lightly and this place deserves even more. Truly, a unique dining experience that is worth visiting. Another Asian food restaurant in the area has been my go-to spot, but when they didn't have reservations and were on a 2+hour wait, I decided to give this place a try. I absolutely love the decorative lighting and effortlessly fun vibe. Every staff member was moving like a well oiled machine on a mission to deliver the best food and service. We started with the dumplings and gyoza. The gyoza sauce was like a Texas soy; a beautiful marriage of an Asian sauce with a hint of barbecue. The cowboy bowl was also incredible, but the gold star goes to the udon rib. DO. NOT. MISS. IT.
Came here to celebrate a coworker's lunch and had a great time! The service was fast and efficient considering we were a large group. The restaurant is so beautiful with the Thai decorations it makes you feel like you're eating in a temple dedicated to food! We had a few appetizers that were good. The curry puff was great so we're the gyoza! For my meal, I did the orange chicken and it was great. It was seasoned well and the vegetables were cooked just right. I highly recommend!
Beautiful cozy restaurant with excellent service. Prices are standard although the vibe would make you think you were about to pay for it! Really near upstairs that you take via elevator. We had their Garlic Chicken Thai Rice, Yellow Curry with Tofu, and Tom Yum Soup. Everything was absolutely delicious except the Tom Yum Soup. Not the best I've ever had and only had a single lemongrass. Luckily my daughter liked the soup so not removing a star, but i was not a fan. The rest of the meal was great. Service was excellent. Friendly and Always available and never pushy or overbearing. It is a smaller restaurant so i advise to make reservations if you go Thursday to Sunday.
We needed to find something to eat during our drive through Ft. Worth. We decided to stop by Ko Thai for lunch The pad see ew was ok. The flavor was fine, but I've never been a big fan of crinkle cut carrots. The portion was good. As pretty as the Yazo Thon dish is, I do not recommend ordering this. For a $25 dish that's featured on their menu, I would expect a perfectly cooked, sliced duck breast. The presentation could use a touch of green color (like fresh mint or basil). The duck is extremely dry. I don't think they cooked it fresh for me. It seemed like it was reheated because the meat wasn't moist, there was zero crispiness to the skin, and the fat layer was rubbery. I gave my feedback to the waitress about the dry duck, but they didn't offer to fix it or do anything else. The service was good. One of the waiters made prik nam pla when I requested it and was friendly. The interior is elegant, and it's not loud, so you can enjoy your meal in peace.
Beautiful restaurant! Every detail seemed really thought out! For an appetizer, we had the curry puffs, super tasty! Nothing like it in Fort worth. For dinner, lao mer fish& udon rib! Gorgeous presentation! I had the lychee lover cocktail, and we had the mango sticky rice for dessert!

Ko Thai is the restaurant I recommend to everyone. Whether you're grabbing a solo lunch or dinner, planning a date night, meeting friends for a girls' night out, or having a family dinner, this place is perfect for any occasion. The upstairs dining area offers flexible seating arrangements that can accommodate groups of all sizes, and the patio is a great spot to enjoy the view with a cocktail and a delicious meal. What keeps me coming back is the consistency. Every visit delivers the same high-quality food, attentive service, and overall excellent dining experience. Ko Thai strikes the perfect balance between being laid-back and providing a memorable meal. It never disappoints and continues to be one of my favorite spots. If you're looking for a reliable restaurant with great food, drinks, and atmosphere, Ko Thai is always the answer. Every time. Parking- Garage directly behind it. They validate. I hyped this spot up for myself so much. The aesthetic is nice, can't deny that. There was alot of thought and care into designing this place. The patio in front is very welcoming and appears to be a cool place to hang out. It has upscale, cool vibes. Service was ok. Kinda just there, not too welcoming or enthusiastic. Food fell short for me. Came in for a quick lunch on a weekday. I don't get to this side of town much so I'm selective when I am in the area on places to eat. We ordered from the lunch menu and chose the fried wings with sticky rice and also pad kee mao. The pad kee mao was quite on the salty side and did not have much noodles to the serving. There was plenty of protein (chicken) surprisingly and veggies. The fried wings were pretty good and presented nicely on a platter with cucumber spears and lettuce. The sticky rice that came with it, however was on the dry side. We also ordered appetizers from the lunch menu: a chicken curry puff and crab rangoons. Nothing special to either one but it was fine. They offer salad rolls with choice of just veggies, tofu, shrimp, or smoked salmon. Looks to be the equivalent of two spring rolls cut in half, for $13 is crazy. You could also opt for the fancier fusion dishes that include ribeye steaks, duck breast, and beef rib for a premium price. Glad I visited it but just not for me. read more
Really enjoyed my visit to Ko Thai! The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. I especially loved the Mae Kong. Everything tasted authentic and well-balanced. I was pleasantly surprised by every single dish we ordered! We got the gyoza, crispy duck (from the special menu, might be seasonal?), a bowl of tom yum soup, and pad thai. Each dish was so good that I was genuinely excited to try the next one. The gyoza was unique with a subtle hint of mozzarella, which added a fun twist without being overpowering. The sauce was great, flavorful but not too heavy or greasy. We ordered the crispy duck instead of the Yazo Thon after seeing some reviews mention dryness, but ours was not dry at all. Even though I'm usually not a fan of coconut, it worked beautifully in the curry. The springy egg noodles were also fun to eat and paired perfectly with the duck. The pad thai was honestly one of the best I've had. I loved that they mixed thinner and slightly thicker noodles! The texture was perfect and the noodles were cooked just right. My only small complaint is that the portion size was a bit on the smaller side. Overall, I'd definitely come back! read more
Located off Magnolia, you can park in the nearby garage and validate which is convenient. There is a small outdoor patio and seating inside both upstairs and downstairs. The decor was very nice and interesting. The staff was friendly and took our orders quickly. The curry puffs were good but a bit small. All three main dishes were delicious with the Pla Makaam having the perfect crisp to the snapper and didn't taste fishy! The prices are a bit high with not happy hour specials unfortunately - could be because of the location. Can't wait to go back and try other dishes! read more

Brand new it seems here, decor is so so cool, staff were great. Lunch prices very reasonable, and came with a salad and soup which was so nice! Fried rice was yummy and a good portion. I got it as a 3/3 spice level, and it was not "knock your socks off spicy" as I would expect, but that's okay! Good experience here! read more
Really enjoyed this elevated take on Thai Cuisine. Fairly new place on Magnolia was just the ticket for something different for this birthday girl. The restaurant gives an elegant vibe with dining available downstairs, upstairs (elevator available), and on the patio. The waitstaff was attentive but not overbearing. I think our server was a little new, but he did a good job. I really enjoyed my go-to Pad Thai for the most part. I was trying something different and ordered the tofu version. I'm so picky about my tofu and it was a little overdone for how I like it, but the rest of the dish was delicious. We also had the roasted duck breast - So Good - and then the mango sticky rice was a nice change for a birthday dessert. read more

The place is beautiful with large Thai statues flanking both sides of the restaurant. The food is presented on beautiful looking earthenware. I enjoyed the Pad see ew. Loved the flavors just would've loved the carrots slivered instead of French fry cut. Don't get me wrong it makes the dish beautiful but a little tough to eat along side the tender noodles. The Thai tea lemonade was really good so make sure to give it a try. The service was quick and efficient. read more
Loved this place! Really nice inside and great service. We tried their gyoza which was amazing I had never had it with cheese on top and was pretty delicious. We then got two of their noodles the pad see ew and pad kee mao and 10/10 for both. Pretty big portions as well, my friend and I shared both and still had left overs. Overall great food and vibe. read more

I've been here twice, and both times it's had been so delicious!! The food is great, the service is quick and very nice!! The restaurant itself self is absolutely gorgeous and has the best vibes. Will be coming back, and highly recommend!!! read more

My wife had the spicy basil fried rice and I had the crying tiger steak! Both were amazing and fresh. Very nice ambiance in the restaurant! Also get the Thai eggrolls for your appetizer. read more

The food and drinks were amazing! Not to mention the overall vibe of this Thai place! We did not have a reservation, but we were lucky to arrive earlier than the dinner crowd. I almost thought they weren't gonna sit us, but they did. I would suggest making reservations. Our server was great and she made sure we always had what we needed. The appetizers were good. read more

"Thai Me a River" - A Love Letter Dipped in Peanut sauce First, the cream cheese puffs. They're not just cute. They're offensively adorable. Golden, crispy, flaky little parcels of joy, filled with warm, melty cream cheese and served with a sweet dipping sauce. I made eye contact with one and whispered, "I love you," before eating it. No regrets. Then came the salad rolls--the fresh, veggie-packed diplomats of the meal. They're like the friend who drinks herbal tea and remembers your birthday. Crisp lettuce, perfectly cooked shrimp with fresh herbs. The pad see ew? Oh, honey. Thick rice noodles, perfectly chewy. Broccoli that somehow managed to be both crispy and perfectly cooked. I would order this again and again. Now, let's talk wine. The selection here included wine from William Chris and the Mendoza region...sold! Atmosphere? Cozy, elegant, with lighting that made me feel like the main character. Service? Friendly, attentive, fast, and somehow managing to make me feel both pampered and chill, like I was at a spa that also served Thai food, which honestly should exist. Final verdict: 13/10. Would eat again. Would recommend. read more

Ko Thai is a new restaurant on Magnolia, in the medical district. The food is excellent, very fresh. The restaurant is very modern and beautiful, with two floors (with an elevator), and upstairs & downstairs patios. The service is friendly. Over all, we had an great dinner and are already taking about going back. read more
