Moody's in general has horrible customer service. First they gave me a quote and then after getting…read moremy car in the shop call me and say it is going to cost 50% more then they told me. And oh by the way your car is all in pieces so really nothing you can do about it. Then once I say ok not much choice I ask them if it will still be done on time and they tell me yes. Then I get a call the next day telling me they want to go over some more charges. Of course I completely lose my temper and ask even more cost! At this point and they say oh sorry did not realize you had been told no only the 50%. I then ask again if this will be done on time and I get I am not certain. I ask them to find out and get right back with me as I have to make plans. I am told yup they will do so. End of day rolls around no call. Next day I am suppose to pick the car up and get a call about noon time telling me not complete and they cannot even give me a date. This was a dent in the front passenger side of the car folks really no big deal. A $1,500 job turns into a almost $2,300 job and they cannot complete this in a weeks time. And I think the worse thing is they really do not see this as problem. I plan on filling a complaint with the Better Businesses Bureau along with the state attorney generals office. I am certain this will do no good but will hopefully cause them a little discomfort at lest. Whenever I get my car back I can only hope that they at lest do good work. I am not holding my breath after this however. Like

Scott Varney, and his team, take pride in the repairs they perform and stand behind them. Enterprise Car Rental works them as well so you'll be able to get immediate transportation if needed.

Stay away!!!! Go to your insurance companies preferred shop. Experience taught me a hard lesson…read morevia this business. Use only a preferred Collision Center becuase it's easy for a Collision Shop to cheat. There a good reason why Cobb Collision is NOT a Star preferred shop and is not accepted by both USAA and Liberty Mutual in my experience. The business owner put unswerving pressure on me to communicate to two separate insurance companies to increase the amount of work needed to repair my car hence, of course, increasing his profit. I did not trust him and decided to take my car elsewhere...he charged me $2200.00 for my car sitting in his fenced in dirt lot and made me pay him in cash to get my Mercedes back. Why wouldn't he take a cashiers check???? Reporting purposes perhaps?? Ya, I don't like paying insurance companies and are not a fan of the high profits they make either but I also do not have the character to decieve..this deception is a way of doing business for this business owner, Mark Cobb.

Long story short - my repair took at least four times as long as any other repair I've ever had…read moredone at other shops (and I've had a few). When I got my Volvo back, there were mechanical problems that didn't exist before I brought it into the shop, which Mr. Cobb promptly denied any liability for, then inasmuch dared me to take legal action against him. The problem was serious to the degree that the dealership literally would not let me take the car home without fixing it (which cost in upwards of $500). Ironically, the car's sticker expired while it was at his shop, and he was kind enough to get one put one on for me. I guess critical steering components aren't inspectable items these days. In addition, the paint job was bad enough so that even to an untrained eye, you could see a burn-through on one panel of the car (at a crease in the body). Bottom line - this guy probably would make a better lawyer than he would a body-man. Stay away. You've been warned.
