Complete with pinball machines, pool tables, dart boards and plenty of TV's Cronin's offers plenty of things to do in a fun atmosphere. With pre-pandemic prices we felt comfortable ordering several things from the menu, but our eyes were bigger than our stomachs. The portions are HUGE at Cronin's and the food is solid. We loved the house salad, BLT, and Potato Skins. Overall Cronin's hit the spot. Great atmosphere, awesome prices, and good food. We will be back!

I am not the typical Kobi's customer because I don't ride a Harley and never have, and this place…read moreis most definitely a "biker bar." During peak hours or community events, don't be surprised to find that it's standing room only! That's actually one of the things that keeps me from going more often, but it can be a lot of fun when I'm in the mood for hopping. I will say that they have better-than-average bar food and during the week, you'll find friendly people who quickly get to know you. The owner, Vicky, genuinely cares about what her customers think and has gone so far as to search out my phone number to let me know that she made a change she thought my husband and I would like. That impressed me a lot, since we're only "infrequent regulars" who went weekly for about a year and still visit every couple of months. (We actually met at Kobi's a few years ago, so the place will always have a special place in my heart!) The smoking area is outside, where you'll probably smell the smoker slow-cooking the next day's special. Don't miss the cheesecake while you're there. Parking is either on the street, across the street at the grocery store's parking lot, our behind the bar, where you can enter through the back door.

With a need to search out all the tot places in KC I decided to revisit, and I'm glad I did. These were some wonderfully made tots with some great sauce options to choose from and no limit on how many! With a kind barkeep and great tots I'd say this place is worth checking out, especially if you hit it up before going to the wonderful Servaes Brewery down the road

I loved this place!…read more I was searching for a cheeseburger that was well recommended by Yelpers. A lot of folks said that Walsh's Corner Cocktail Bar was a great place to find a delicious burger. They were 100% correct! I had a tasty Mexican lager, which I had never heard of, but the bartender let me sample it before I ordered one and it was also wonderful. Tasty pint! The staff here is super friendly and welcoming, even to strangers, which can be uncommon. I was here by myself and felt completely welcome. The other patrons were lively and friendly. There were some very cool regulars at the bar. Including a piano teacher and a computer programmer. I chose to come to Walsh's on a Wednesday night because their burgers are $1.50 off on Wednesdays. Monday and Thursday is Taco Night! But those are the only nights they offer tacos. I will have to go back. The burger was really good! It comes naked, cheese is only added if you ask for it. You can also ask for pickles and onions. But they won't come with the burger if you don't ask. Catchup and mustard are offered on the side in squirt bottles. The mustard was tangy and nice. I think the ketchup was Heinz. If not, it's even better because it was zesty and fresh. I really liked it. And I'm not even a ketchup guy. The burger was very flavorful, cooked to perfection and really a delight! The bun was slightly toasted, but not dripping with butter or gross. The onion rings were fantastic! The breading was a medium thickness, not so thin that you could see through it and not so thick that it tasted like extra crispy chicken. I was driving so I just had the one beer, but I was pleased to enjoy a Coke with my dinner. I will absolutely return to Walsh's! What a great place! Thanks, Yelp for the recommendation!!

We got a "smorgasbord" (appetizer sampler) to share and a 4-wing sidecar of wings. The mozzarella triangles were awesome. Chips and queso were good. Pretzels were okay. We chose the pork rib "wings" since we added regular wings on the side, and were surprised they came out cold. The menu says they're fried so we asked, and they are supposed to be warm - these were ice cold, like just out of the refrigerator. They took the board back to the kitchen, then returned with it and said they'd get us another order, as you'd expect. The only reason we didn't give more stars was that night and the next day, we were both very ill for 24-48 hours. No idea what caused it, but highly suspicious of lunch since that's the only thing we ate in common all day.

My two solid picks would be for steak night and shrimp night. The shrimp are really good especially for a dive bar and you can get them mixed pull and eat and friend which is a nice touch. I personally don't get the shrimp dinner because just the shrimp is enough for me. There are some pretty good inexpensive starters if you need to soak up the alcohol with bar appetizers. It's definitely an older crowd so maybe that's why it's not one of my go-tos but it's not like I've ever had a bad experience there.
