    Three Dots and a Dash
    Carlos R.

5 stars after a single visit? Obviously this will be a work in progress requiring a lot more research. This review is based solely on the quality of the rum cocktails. This place is like an oasis of rum in a desert of mediocre booze. Where else outside of good Tiki bars could I get a "Three Dots and a Dash"? Or, a Painkiller properly made with Pusser's rum? A daiquiri that isn't a strawberry slushie but an actual classic daiquiri? Why I now know a place, not any place, but Know Place

Found the bar online and decided to take a ride to check it out. It's a cute bar! Had a blast while there. Met one great bartender, Lark! Great conversation and drinks were awesome! Lark makes a great Bloody Mary and turned us on to the "Flintstone"! We will make a stop here the next time we are in the area!

My favorite was the ribeye steak tacos, it was perfection, the meat was tender and the homemade corn tortillas were delicious. the Birria is also very good. I tend to gravitate to Mexican restaurants with the best homemade corn and/or flour tortillas. I always felt they have the best food if they take the time to make homemade tortillas, They could have gone to any store, to me, it says a lot. The wait staff was so kind, happy and so great at what the do, making it a fun experience. We purchased some coupons for Fuego Prime around Christmas, gave some as gifts. We were hooked after our first visit, we have been two times since in the last couple months! Nothing changed, all was perfect. Prices are very reasonable, we will be back. We also want to go in the evening so we can sit outside under the lights. They serve breakfast on weekends only, that's our next visit! Plus it feels good to support a small business! So great food, service and ambience.

Service was friendly. We tried the strawberry and mango margaritas, the steak enchiladas and ahi tuna tostada, and for dessert the arroz con leche and (because they ran out of churro donuts) vanilla ice cream. Total for two was $40. What a deal. But you get what you pay for. Drinks weren't super strong and the flavors were not as authentic. The rice and beans with the enchilada could use some improvement. And the ice cream was much sweeter than the arroz. Overall, still enjoyable though for a night out, especially for the price.

So as far as bar service it was great! I enjoyed my drink besides the fact that he didn't hear exactly what I want lmao. Besides all of that it was a good time. We were there for about four hours.... everybody left except me and my friend both of us females. As the night went on however, the locals came in. We had some big broad, flipping us off across the way while we were just sitting at the bar, and it got way worse. The two gentlemen sitting next to us were there from work and it was their first time as well. They were pipe fitters and they were staying at adjacent hotel, they were going to give us a ride home. For no reason at all about 10 Cowboys hats came our direction and threatened all four of us. We were backed up against the wall as they all stood up and walked over our direction. My friend and I got up and walked around, my friend kept saying this is horrible. We didn't do anything wrong. We keep asking the bartender what's going on why is this happening ??? My friend asked some guy are you just gonna let these guys jump us? The bartender said she was shutting it down told us that we needed to go around and get out of here from the back.. we called 911,four times!!! and no one showed up. We feared for our lives, fortunately one of the locals told us to sit by him and not move and assisted in getting a stranger to drive us all the way back to our hotel. We were so worried about the other two men who did absolutely nothing and were getting punked by the local hillbillies. We have no idea whatever happened to the two guys. We ended up going to their hotel and explaining in case they didn't show up from work the next day. I highly recommend that no one attends this bar unless you live in that neighborhood and know everybody; it's clear Lodi people should be NOT be recommending it. It's a safety concern at this point. And this probably won't be the last time.

We also tried the chicken Parmesan--big portion accompanied by marinara sauce. Another great choice was the wine braised short ribs: very tender and plentiful atop mashed potatoes and vegetable medley. Real tasty, I had to steal a corner from my wife . For a big place that was maybe 40% occupied, it was soooooooooooooooooo slow. One server from what I see, 2 bussers, and 5 others standing around chatting. Took a good 30 mins to get seated (there was tables available), though we got to go to their tasting room, and got a bottle of wine; another 20 mins to get the server's attention after getting seated and probably another 40 for the food to come. That was probably the most irritating.
